With the male beauty and grooming industry growing by an estimated 6–8% each year, it’s clear that more men than ever are investing in how they look. Yet many still feel uncomfortable admitting just how much image matters to them.In the very first episode of The He Word, Frank Zammit is joined by three guests to explore the complex relationship men have with appearance, confidence, and vulnerability.Creative and stylist Peter Carbonaro is widely regarded as one of Malta’s best-dressed men, effortlessly turning heads wherever he goes. Property entrepreneur Steve Mercieca, meanwhile, insists he gives very little thought to his image but is that really the case?
