  • The Freedom of Being Nobody - Ram Dass | After Skool 21.08.2026 15min
The Freedom of Being Nobody - Ram Dass Ram Dass first went to India in 1967. He was still Dr. Richard Alpert, a prominent Harvard psychologist and psychedelic pioneer with Dr. Timothy Leary. He continued his psychedelic research until that fateful Eastern trip in 1967, when he traveled to India. In India, he met his guru, Neem Karoli Baba, affectionately known as Maharajji, who gave Ram Dass his name, which means “servant of God.” Everything changed then - his intense dharmic life started, and he became a pivotal influence on a culture that has reverberated with the words “Be Here Now” ever since. Ram Dass’ spirit has been a guiding light for three generations, carrying along millions on the journey, helping to free them from their bonds as he works through his own.Since 1968, Ram Dass has pursued a panoramic array of spiritual methods and practices from potent ancient wisdom traditions, including bhakti or devotional yoga focused on the Hindu deity Hanuman; Buddhist meditation in the Theravadin, Mahayana Tibetan, and Zen Buddhist schools, and Sufi and Jewish mystical studies. Perhaps most significantly, his practice of karma yoga or spiritual service has opened up millions of other souls to their deep, yet individuated spiritual practice and path. Ram Dass continues to uphold the boddhisatva ideal for others through his compassionate sharing of true knowledge and vision. His unique skill in getting people to cut through and feel divine love without dogma is still a positive influence on many people from all over the planet.Learn more at https://www.ramdass.org/Please consider supporting After Skool on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/AfterSkool Visit our site at https://www.afterskool.net/ Check out the new After Skool prints! https://after-skool.creator-spring.com/ Or send us an email at afterskool100@gmail.comPlease share, like, comment, subscribe and hit the notifications bell so you don't miss future videos. • Left Brain Right Brain is a MYTH | After Skool 21.08.2026 8min
Left Brain Right Brain is a MYTH Thank you so much to Health Chronicle for the excellent collaboration. Go subscribe to their channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCSPr6DPtJISy8DL9eGAIiyA It’s said that the left side is mostly in charge of logical behavior such as mathematics, putting things in sequence, language, facts and so on. The right brain has more creative parts like; imagination, intuition, visualizing your feelings and all that kind of thingBecause of this, it’s become a common idea that most people are either left-brained or right brained, just like they are left or right handed. The accounts, lawyers and bankers are all smart, serious left brainers. The painters, musicians and hairdressers are all wild and impulsive right brainers. But is this really true? Can you have a dominant side of your brain? The answer is no. And your brain is also nowhere near as divided as most people believe. The two sides are much more similar than we think and most processes are found on both sides. The two parts do have different functions but they are not divided up as simply as logic on one side, creativity on the other. For more interesting animations, please subscribe! and hit the notifications bell! • The Greatest Secret Of The Rich | After Skool 21.08.2026 9min
The Greatest Secret Of The Rich Often times it seems like the solution to all of our economic problems would be higher taxes on the rich. The thought is that taking money from the wealthiest people will somehow balance things out. Unfortunately, this theory has backfired, because the rich use their financial knowledge to evade taxes through corporations. The good news is you too can use the same tricks that the rich use to LEGALLY evade taxes and make YOUR money work for YOU. All the information in this video was taken from a chapter in the book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki. • The Psychology of Malignant Narcissists - Academy of Ideas | After Skool 21.08.2026 17min
The Psychology of Malignant Narcissists - Academy of Ideas The central characteristic of narcissism is an inflated sense of self. Narcissists are overconfident and admire themselves to a degree that is not warranted by the reality of who they are, or what they have accomplished. The narcissist’s infatuation with a grandiose self-image leads to self-absorption, reducing their capacity to empathize with the feelings and experiences of other people. Narcissism exists on a continuum; some of the milder forms of narcissism, such as identifying with an idealized self-image one creates on social media, are unhealthy, but relatively benign. At the extreme end of the spectrum lies the pathology of malignant narcissism, in which one identifies with an illusory self-image of moral purity. This video was made in collaboration with Academy of Ideas. They create videos explaining the ideas of history's great thinkers in order to help supply the world with more knowledge, to empower the individual, and to promote freedom. • Should We Bring Back Extinct Species? | After Skool 21.08.2026 10min
Should We Bring Back Extinct Species? De-extinction, or resurrection biology, or species revivalism is the process of creating an organism, which is either a member of, or resembles an extinct species, or breeding population of such organisms. Cloning is the most widely proposed method, although selective breeding and gene editing have also been proposed. Similar techniques have been applied to endangered species. Visit our site to preorder https://www.afterskool.net/ Check out the new After Skool T-shirt design! https://teespring.com/stores/afterskoolThere is significant controversy over de-extinction. Critics assert that efforts would be better spent conserving existing species, that the habitat necessary for formerly extinct species to survive is too limited to warrant de-extinction, and that the evolutionary conservation benefits of these operations are questionable.Thank you Nature Conservancy for the great footage of the Channel Island Foxes. • The Fourth World: An Encounter With Hopi Prophecy - Graham Hancock | After Skool 21.08.2026 13min
The Fourth World: An Encounter With Hopi Prophecy - Graham Hancock The script for this animation comes from Graham Hancock's book, "Fingerprints of the Gods", published in 1995. In "Fingerprints of the Gods", Hancock embarks on a worldwide quest to put together all the pieces of the vast and fascinating jigsaw of mankind’s hidden past. In ancient monuments as far apart as Egypt’s Great Sphinx, the strange Andean ruins of Tihuanaco, and Mexico’s awe-inspiring Temples of the Sun and Moon, he reveals not only the clear fingerprints of an as-yet-unidentified civilization of remote antiquity, but also startling evidence of its vast sophistication, technological advancement, and evolved scientific knowledge. In this video, we focus on the final conclusion of "Fingerprints of the Gods", where Graham has an encounter with an elder of the Hopi people in New Mexico. The Hopi believe that we are walking in the last days, with a geological sword of Damocles hanging over us. According to their myths:The first world was destroyed, as a punishment for human misdemeanours, by an all-consuming fire that came from above and below. The second world ended when the terrestrial globe toppled from its axis and everything was covered with ice. The third world ended in a universal flood. The present world is the fourth. Its fate will depend on whether or not its inhabitants behave in accordance with the Creator’s plans …’For more insight on this topic, consider checking out some of Graham Hancock's Best-Selling books, watch his series "Ancient Apocalypse" on Netflix or visit his website at https://grahamhancock.com/This incredible flute music in this video was created by Jonny Lipford. • Carl Jung - The Power of Knowing Your Dark Side (Written by Eternalised) | After Skool 21.08.2026 14min
Carl Jung - The Power of Knowing Your Dark Side (Written by Eternalised) Carl Gustav Jung (26 July 1875 - 6 June 1961) was a Swiss psychiatrist and psychoanalyst who founded analytical psychology. Jung's work has been influential in the fields of psychiatry, anthropology, archaeology, literature, philosophy, psychology, and religious studies. Jung worked as a research scientist at the famous Burghölzli hospital, under Eugen Bleuler. During this time, he came to the attention of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis. The two men conducted a lengthy correspondence and collaborated, for a while, on a joint vision of human psychology.Freud saw the younger Jung as the heir he had been seeking to take forward his "new science" of psychoanalysis and to this end secured his appointment as president of his newly founded International Psychoanalytical Association. Jung's research and personal vision, however, made it impossible for him to follow his older colleague's doctrine and a schism became inevitable. This division was personally painful for Jung and resulted in the establishment of Jung's analytical psychology as a comprehensive system separate from psychoanalysis.Among the central concepts of analytical psychology is individuation-the lifelong psychological process of differentiation of the self out of each individual's conscious and unconscious elements. Jung considered it to be the main task of human development. He created some of the best known psychological concepts, including synchronicity, archetypal phenomena, the collective unconscious, the psychological complex and extraversion and introversion. In this video, we explore Carl Jung's concept of the shadow and how to integrate it into our personality to attain wholeness. This script was written and recorded by Eternalised.
