The 40 Hadiths of Imam Nawawi 19.08.2026 54min1. Actions are judged by intentions, and each person is rewarded according to what they intended.2. Covers Islam, Iman, Ihsan, and signs of the Last Hour.3. Islam is built on five pillars: faith, prayer, zakah, hajj, and Ramadan fasting.4. Creation develops in stages in the womb; provision, lifespan, deeds, and destiny are decreed by Allah ﷻ.5. Unauthorized religious innovations are rejected.6. Halal and haram are clear; avoid doubtful matters, for a purified heart keeps the body righteous.7. Religion is sincere advice (Nasihah) to Allah ﷻ, His Book, His Messenger ﷺ, leaders, and the public.8. Life and property are sacred once Islam's core obligations are fulfilled; judgment belongs to Allah ﷻ.9. Avoid what is forbidden, obey commands as able, and avoid excessive questioning.10. Allah ﷻ accepts only what is pure; unlawful earnings hinder supplications.11 Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt.12 Perfect faith includes leaving what does not concern you.13 True faith requires loving for your brother what you love for yourself.14 A Muslim's blood is sacred except for adultery, murder, or apostasy.15 Belief in Allah ﷻ and the Last Day requires good speech or silence, and honoring neighbors and guests.16 The Prophet ﷺ repeatedly advised: "Do not become angry."17 Allah ﷻ commands excellence (Ihsan) in all actions, including humane slaughter.18 Maintain Taqwa, follow bad deeds with good, and treat people well.19 Be mindful of Allah ﷻ; He will protect you. Rely on Him and trust His decree.20 If you feel no shame, then do whatever you wish.21 Say, "I believe in Allah ﷻ," then remain steadfast.22 Fulfilling obligations and avoiding prohibitions leads to Paradise.23 Purity is half of faith; remembrance fills the scales, prayer is light, charity is proof, and each person frees or ruins their soul.24 A Hadith Qudsi: Allah ﷻ forbids oppression, needs no worship, provides and forgives, and rewards according to deeds.25 Charity includes glorifying Allah ﷻ, enjoining good, forbidding evil, and lawful intimacy.26 Every joint owes daily charity: reconcile, help, speak good, walk to prayer, or remove obstacles.27 Righteousness is good character; sin troubles the conscience and is disliked when exposed.28 Obey authority, follow the Sunnah and Rightly-Guided Caliphs, and avoid innovations.29 Outlines Islam's pillars and gates of goodness; controlling the tongue helps avoid the Fire.30 Fulfill Allah's ﷻ obligations, respect His boundaries, and avoid questioning what He left unmentioned.31 Detach from worldly allurements for Allah's ﷻ love; detach from people's possessions for their love.32 There should be no harm nor reciprocating harm.33 The accuser must provide proof; the defender must swear an oath.34 Change evil by hand, tongue, or at minimum by hating it in the heart.35 Muslims are brothers; avoid envy, hatred, backstabbing, and contempt. Their life, honor, and property are sacred.36 Relieving hardship, helping others, covering faults, and seeking knowledge bring relief and status from Allah ﷻ.37 Allah ﷻ multiplies good deeds; evil deeds are recorded once, while abandoned intended evil earns a good deed.38 A Hadith Qudsi: drawing close to Allah ﷻ through obligations and voluntary acts earns His love and protection.39 Allah ﷻ pardons unintentional mistakes, forgetfulness, and actions under duress.40 Live in this world like a stranger or passing traveler.41 None truly believes until his desires conform to what the Messenger ﷺ brought.42 A Hadith Qudsi: Allah ﷻ forgives those who turn to Him without associating partners with Him.
