Break Sunday - August 2026 || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 01.09.2026 1ч 22минThe Church is not just a building you attend. It is a place of safety, growth, accountability, and maturity, and Pastor Nelson brought clarity to that truth in a powerful way this Sunday. Through questions from members, he unpacked what it means to gather as the Body of Christ and why the assembly of the saints is something we must never take lightly or reduce to routine.God has given ministry gifts specifically to equip the saints, and everything that happens when we come together carries weight. Communion, baptism, fellowship: none of it is ordinary, even when familiarity tempts us to treat it that way. Every gathering is an intentional act of God working in and through His people, and we rob ourselves when we show up without that awareness.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs a renewed appreciation for what it means to be part of the Church. -
Supernatural Sunday August 2026 || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 24.08.2026 1ч 4минThe Holy Spirit is not a supplement to the Christian life. He is central to it. He is the one who makes us alive to God, opening us up to receive, understand, and experience things that remain completely out of reach without Him. He takes the Scriptures off the page and makes them live inside us, and by that same Spirit, every believer is knit together into one Body, regardless of background, culture, or season of life.Life in the Spirit is not a one-time event to look back on. It is a continual experience we are called to keep stepping into. Keep drinking. Keep walking. Keep growing. As hunger for God increases, so does the capacity to experience more of Him, and that hunger is itself a gift from the Spirit working in us to draw us deeper into the One we were made for. Hit play and share this episode with someone who is ready to stop living on yesterday's encounter and start pressing in for more. -
Interpreting Scripture || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 17.08.2026 1ч 52минThe question is never just what the Bible says. The deeper question is what it means, and that is where biblical hermeneutics does its work. Pastor Nelson continued Hagios Biblios with a teaching on Interpreting Scripture, showing us that understanding what the biblical authors intended to communicate is not optional. It is what equips us to stand firm, minister effectively, and handle God's Word with the care it deserves.Errors in interpretation are more common than we like to admit. Preconceived notions, generalisations, and reading personal meaning into the text are all ways we can miss what Scripture is actually saying. The Word must be allowed to speak for itself, understood through its literal sense, read within its context, and clarified by other passages that shed light on it. Scripture interprets Scripture, and that principle alone guards us from a great deal of confusion. Hit play and share this episode with someone who wants to go deeper in understanding the Word they are standing on. -
Sufficiency of Scripture 2 || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 10.08.2026 1ч 20минWe continued Hagios Biblios with Sufficiency of Scripture II, and the ground we stood on was this: the whole counsel of God concerning everything necessary for His glory, man's salvation, faith, and life is either expressly stated in Scripture or can be drawn from it by good and necessary consequence. Nothing is to be added, whether by new revelations or the traditions of men. The God who exists above us is the same God who inspired the Word, and that gives Him every right to tell us how to live, think, and follow Jesus.Sufficiency does not mean every doctrine is spelled out in a single verse. Truths like the Trinity, the Hypostatic Union, and the Deity of Christ are drawn from the whole counsel of Scripture, and they stand firm. What sufficiency does mean is that Christ alone is enough. We do not need additional practices, extra revelations, or requirements bolted on alongside Him. Paul's warning is as sharp today as it ever was: any gospel that contradicts what has already been given is to be rejected outright, regardless of the source. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be reminded that what God has given us in His Word is not lacking anything. -
Suffiency of Scriptures || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 03.08.2026 1ч 7минWe continued Hagios Biblios with The Sufficiency of Scripture, grounding ourselves in the truth that God's Word is the believer's final standard, inspired, inerrant, and sufficient for everything that concerns faith and life. Every other voice, tradition, or teaching must be brought before it and tested against what it says. The Five Solas of the Reformation are as clarifying today as they were then. Grace alone. Faith alone. Christ alone. Scripture alone. To the glory of God alone. Creation can point us to the existence of God, but it is only in the Scriptures that we find His plan of salvation through Christ laid out in full. Nothing needs to be added, and nothing can replace it.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be anchored again to the only source that never shifts. -
Canon of Scriptures 3 || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 27.07.2026 1ч 33минThe 27 books of the New Testament did not land in our hands by accident. We continued Hagios Biblios with Canon of Scripture, exploring why the Church recognised exactly these writings as the ones to be read, translated, and upheld as the standard for apostolic doctrine. As false writings began to circulate and persecution threatened to wipe out Christian literature, the Church did not panic. She carefully preserved and affirmed what God had inspired. From the very latter half of the first century, believers were already drawing clear lines between the authentic writings of the apostles and everything that fell short. That discernment was not arbitrary. It was Spirit-led, historically grounded, and it is the reason we can hold the New Testament today with full confidence that what we have is exactly what God intended us to have. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs a deeper confidence in the book they are building their life on. -
What happens when we pray? || Let Us Pray London || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 27.07.2026 48минTrue prayer does not begin with the right words or the right posture. It begins with a surrendered heart. Pastor Nelson brought a powerful charge that cut through every surface level understanding of prayer and landed on what it actually is: the place where our hearts stop insisting on their own way and come into full alignment with the will of God.In that place of surrender, something happens. God takes what is weak and trades it for His strength. He gives grace to walk in obedience that we could never manufacture on our own. As we draw near, He hears. He answers. He moves on people and circumstances through the prayers of the righteous in ways that defy every natural explanation.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be called back to the place of prayer. -
We Are Pentecostals || Lagos Retreat 2026 || The Equipping Center Lagos || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 24.07.2026 29минBeing Pentecostal is not about adding experience on top of the Bible. It is about pursuing the biblical experience the Word of God already promises. The Holy Ghost is not denominational, and what He offers is not a trickle. We have come to a river of endless supply, and the demands of God on our lives cannot be met by moral discipline alone. It takes the enabling of the Holy Spirit. The gifts have not ceased because the need has not ceased. People still require edification, exhortation, and comfort, and it is the Spirit who makes alive what no amount of human effort can sustain. The way we love the Lord is not youthful energy or religious routine. It is the work of the Spirit in us, and anyone who has truly encountered Him will never be satisfied with anything less than His continued work in their heart and their day.Hit play and share this episode with someone who is ready to stop settling and start pursuing everything the Spirit has made available to them. -
Christian Creeds || SELAH || Lagos Retreat 2026 || The Equipping Center Lagos || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 24.07.2026 5ч 17минNot every theological disagreement carries the same weight. We explored the concept of theological triage, understanding that some issues sit at the very core of the faith, and the deity of Christ is one of them. To have biblical salvation, you must believe in the biblical Jesus. Nothing can hold the chief place in our lives other than Him, and sophistication must never be allowed to quietly displace the Jesus of Scripture. The creeds were not invented to complicate the faith. They were forged to defend and preserve it. The Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed both anchor us to the truth that Jesus is uniquely begotten, eternally the Son of God, fully God and fully man, and that the incarnation is not a footnote to the Christian faith. It is the heart of it. What makes His life and death unlike anything else in history is precisely who He is. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be grounded in the Jesus the Bible actually reveals. -
Cannon of Scripture || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 13.07.2026 1ч 20минThe Church is not a passive recipient of Scripture. She is called to uphold it, defend it, and hold fast to it as God's authoritative Word. We continued Hagios Biblios with Canon of Scripture II, walking through the different categories of ancient writings and drawing clear lines between the books recognised as Scripture and those that were disputed, rejected, or never fully affirmed by the broader Church. The Apocryphal books are a case worth examining closely. Neither Jesus, nor the New Testament writers, nor the early Church ever recognised them as Scripture. That consistency across centuries is not a coincidence. It is one more thread of evidence reinforcing the reliability and integrity of the canon we hold in our hands today.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs a stronger foundation for why we trust the Bible we have. -
Cannon of Scripture || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 07.07.2026 1ч 13минNot every ancient text is Scripture, and that distinction matters more than we might think. The canon is not determined by age, language, popularity, or religious value. The only qualifying mark is divine inspiration. Many writings may be helpful, insightful, even historically significant, but only those inspired by God stand as the rule of faith.Canonicity was not invented by a committee. Scripture was recognised through God's prophetic authorship, confirmed in the very nature of the text itself. And the Book of Esther is one of the most striking examples: God is never once mentioned by name, yet His providence, covenant faithfulness, and sovereign hand are visible on every page. The absence of His name did not signal His absence from the story.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs a deeper understanding of why the Bible we hold is exactly the Bible God intended. -
Inspiration and Reliability Of Scriptures || Hagios Biblios || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 29.06.2026 1ч 29минWe continued Hagios Biblios with a question that carries enormous weight: can we trust the Bible? Scripture is God's Word, written through men who were carried along by the Holy Spirit. The hands were human, but the authorship is divine, and that distinction changes everything about how we approach every page. From the Old Testament to the New, God spoke consistently through those He appointed. Jesus Himself affirmed the Scriptures and entrusted His message to the apostles, which is why we receive the Bible not as a collection of good ideas but as God's authoritative Word, verbally inspired, fully inspired, and entirely sufficient for teaching, instruction, and life. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs their confidence in Scripture strengthened from the ground up. -
Story of Scriptures || Hagios Biblios || The equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 21.06.2026 1ч 13минWe are starting something new. Hagios Biblios kicks off with The Story of Scriptures, and it begins with something worth sitting with: the Bible is unlike anything else ever written. Composed over centuries, across continents, through dozens of authors, it carries a single unified message that holds together with remarkable coherence.Differences in time, culture, language, and perspective could not fracture it. Every page, every thread, every story consistently points to one central person: Jesus Christ. And behind it all is a God willing to speak through real people, real history, and real stories, breathing His truth into human experience so that we could know Him.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs a fresh encounter with why the Bible is worth everything. -
What Next - What To Do After a Special Meeting || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 15.06.2026 1ч 14минA special meeting does not end when the last session closes. This Sunday, we reflected on the lessons from the Mid-Year Retreat and asked the question every believer should be asking: what now? Church is community, and we gather not just for ourselves but for one another, spurring each other on in prayer, worship, and good works.Love for others shapes the way we live and the choices we make, always leaning toward what builds those around us up. After a special meeting, the journey forward moves through rest, returning to the Word, building structure around what God has said, taking our consecrations seriously, and choosing gratitude for all He has done.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs help staying with what God started in them. -
Laws of Victory || Day 3 Afternoon Session || Unseen Realities || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 11.06.2026 46минGod uses men for men and graces men for men. The New Covenant is not built on our performance but on the finished work of Christ, and because of what He has done, the most important voice we can tune into is what God's Word says about us, not the steady stream of lies the enemy offers as an alternative.Victory begins with light. Truth is what confronts deception, and the more we see ourselves through the lens of Scripture, the more our confidence in who we are in Christ grows. And when we fall short, we do not run from Him. We run to Him, resting in the finished work of redemption and the full assurance of everything He has already accomplished on our behalf.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to stop listening to the wrong voice. -
Open Doors || Day 3 Morning Session || Unseen Realities || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 10.06.2026 1ч 5минIgnorance is not our portion. Because we are not unaware of the enemy's schemes, we must be intentional about closing every door, guarding against carelessness, bitterness, and unforgiveness, which are entry points we often underestimate. What we leave unchecked, the enemy will not overlook. The enemy is strategic, and so must we be. He watches for opportune moments, which is why vigilance and godly community are not optional extras but essential to how we walk. As God works in us through sanctification, our part is to yield, staying open to the Holy Spirit and letting Him shape every area of our lives without reservation.Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be stirred toward greater vigilance and surrender. -
Devices of the Enemy || Day 2 Evening Session || Unseen Realities || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 10.06.2026 1ч 11минThe enemy does not show up with a straightforward fight. He works through temptation, accusation, deception, and idolatry, always angling to pull hearts away from the Lord. But no accusation can hold against those Christ has redeemed. The blood speaks a better word, and it speaks louder.Spiritual warfare begins with knowledge. The more deeply we are rooted in God's Word, the less ground deception has to stand on. And here is what changes everything: we do not fight to win. We fight from a victory already secured. Everything we stand on, Christ has already accomplished. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs to be reminded that they are not fighting for victory but from it. -
Overshadowed || Day 2 Afternoon Session || Unseen Realities || The Equipping Center Global || Pastor Nelson Iheagwam 10.06.2026 1ч 9минThe world we see is not the whole story. Pastor Nelson's teaching on Overshadowed reminded us that the spirit realm is not a distant concept but a present reality operating right alongside everything we can touch and observe. Scripture pulls back the curtain on what our natural eyes so easily miss.Every spirit being traces its origin back to God, and none can compare to Him. Because spiritual influences are real and active, believers cannot afford to be passive. We are called to live with vigilance and discernment, constantly investing in the inward man through prayer, the Word, and deep fellowship with God. Hit play and share this episode with someone who needs a reminder that there is far more happening in the unseen than we often stop to acknowledge.
