  • Argue for your Greatness 19.09.2026 34мин
Argue for Your GreatnessWhat if you stopped building such a convincing case for your limitations—and started arguing for your greatness instead?Your brain is very good at collecting evidence for why you can’t change: I’m too old. I’m not confident. I’ve always been this way. I don’t trust myself. I don’t know what I want. But those aren’t necessarily facts. They may be conclusions you’ve practiced believing. In this episode, we explore why your brain defaults to the familiar, why becoming a new version of yourself can initially feel uncomfortable, and how you can start creating evidence for who you want to become. You’ll learn why you don’t need to wait for confidence or certainty—and why your past doesn’t get to decide what you’re capable of next.Your brain will present the evidence from your past. Your job is to start creating evidence for your future.Ready to find out what’s possible for you?If you’re tired of feeling stuck and ready to understand what’s actually keeping you there, I invite you to book a complimentary private 30-minute consultation with me.We’ll look at where you are, where you want to go, and what needs to change to get you moving. I’ll also tell you about my six-session private coaching program, designed to help you build emotional resilience, self-trust, confidence and a new relationship with yourself—so fear stops making your decisions and you start creating what’s next.Book your complimentary consultation using the link below.https://tristaguertincoachingsession.as.me/consult
  • Stop settling for fine 10.09.2026 22мин
What if nothing is terribly wrong with your life… but you still know something needs to change?Your job is fine. Your relationship is fine. Your life looks pretty good on paper. And yet, underneath it all, there’s that quiet question:Is this it?In this episode, we’re talking about one of the hardest kinds of stuck — when your life isn’t bad enough to force a change, but deep down, you know you don’t want to keep living exactly like this. We’ll talk about why “fine” can keep you stuck for years, how we use gratitude and responsibility to talk ourselves out of what we really want, and why waiting until you’re absolutely certain can quietly cost you more than you realize. You’ll also learn why restlessness doesn’t necessarily mean something has gone wrong. It might mean you’ve simply outgrown something. If you’ve been telling yourself you should be happy, you should be grateful, or you don’t have a good enough reason to want more, this episode is for you.The question I want you to take away:Where am I tolerating “fine” because I don’t think I have a good enough reason to want something different? You don’t have to blow up your life. But you do have to start telling yourself the truth.
  • Inner Freedom 04.09.2026 24мин
What if the freedom you’re looking for has less to do with changing your life—and more to do with changing how you meet it?In this episode, inspired by the timeless ideas in Marcus Aurelius’ Meditations, we’re talking about how to become harder to knock off yourself. You’ll learn four simple practices to help you:Separate what actually happened from the story your brain creates about itFeel difficult emotions without letting them make your decisionsStop wasting energy arguing with realityPractice gratitude for the life you have while you’re creating what you want nextBecause the goal isn’t to never feel afraid, disappointed, irritated, or uncertain. It’s to become a woman who can experience all of it—and still trust herself to choose what happens next. That’s mental freedom. That’s emotional authority. And that’s where your power is.
  • 10 things I wish every woman knew 29.08.2026 38мин
What if there’s nothing wrong with you—and you’re not doing life wrong? In this episode of This Daring Adventure, I’m sharing 10 things I wish I had understood much earlier about my brain, my emotions, my power, and what it means to be human. We’re talking about why you don’t have to believe everything you think, why uncomfortable emotions aren’t a problem to solve, why your past doesn’t get to determine what happens next, and why you have far more power over your life than you may realize.I also share why mindset and emotional work aren’t something you “finish.” They’re practices we return to again and again—and why learning how to understand your own brain can completely change the way you experience your life. Most importantly, this episode is an invitation to stop spending so much time wondering whether you’re doing life right and start asking a much more interesting question:What am I capable of?Because you haven’t met every version of yourself yet.And there is still so much more to discover. In this episode:Why there is nothing wrong with youWhy your thoughts aren’t automatically factsThe importance of learning to process emotions and support your nervous systemHow we unknowingly give our power awayWhy your past is information—not prophecyWhy you’re not supposed to be happy all the timeThe power of coaching and having someone help you see what you can’t see on your ownIf you’re ready to apply this work to your own life, I invite you to book a complimentary consultation with me to learn more about private 1:1 coaching.Let’s see what’s possible for you.Want to take this work deeper? • Endings 25.06.2026 14мин
Many of us build our identity around a role—a job, a relationship, parenting, caregiving, or a title we've held for years. But what happens when that role ends?In this episode, I share a message from an 81-year-old listener who was unexpectedly forced into retirement after working her entire life. What she is experiencing isn't really a retirement problem. It's an identity transition. We'll explore why losing a role can feel so disorienting, the lie our culture tells us about aging and usefulness, and how to begin creating meaning in a chapter you didn't choose. If you've ever wondered who you are after a major life change, this episode is for you.In This Episode:Why the loss of a role can feel like the loss of yourselfThe difference between your identity and your job, title, or circumstancesThe hidden grief that often comes with retirement, divorce, empty nest, and career transitionsWhy your value doesn't disappear when a chapter endsA powerful question to help you create your next chapter with intentionKey TakeawayThe role ended. Not you.A chapter may close, but your value, purpose, wisdom, and ability to contribute remain. The question is no longer, "What do I do now?"The question is:"Who do I want to become next?"

What if audacity isn't arrogance? What if it's self-trust?In this episode of This Daring Adventure, we're reclaiming a word that women have been taught to fear. So many of us have spent years waiting—for the right time, more confidence, more certainty, or someone else's permission. But what if the life you want is waiting for you to decide? We'll explore why midlife women often abandon their own desires, how fear and second-guessing keep us playing small, and why confidence is created through action—not before it.If you've been feeling the pull toward something more, this episode is your invitation to stop waiting and start choosing yourself. In this episode, you'll learn:Why audacity has gotten a bad rap—especially for womenThe hidden cost of waiting for permissionWhy confidence follows action, not the other way aroundHow to stop second-guessing yourself and trust your desiresOne simple way to begin living more boldly this weekJournal Prompt:If I stopped waiting for permission and fully trusted myself, what would I do next? This Week's Challenge:Take one audacious step. Send the email. Have the conversation. Make the decision. • Choosing Yourself 21.05.2026 14мин
How many years have you spent quietly putting yourself on hold?Waiting for confidence. Waiting for certainty. Waiting for the “right” time. Waiting for someone—or something—to finally choose you.In this episode of This Daring Adventure, I’m talking about one of the sneakiest ways women stay stuck: waiting to be chosen instead of choosing themselves. We explore why so many women postpone their dreams, desires, and next chapter—and how fear, people-pleasing, and the primitive brain keep us waiting for permission. If you’ve ever thought:I don’t know what I wantI’ll do it when I feel more confidentMaybe next yearI’m too old / too late / not readyThis episode is for you. You’ll learn:✨ Why waiting feels safe—but quietly becomes your life✨ The hidden cost of postponing yourself✨ Why confidence comes after action—not before✨ How to stop waiting for permission and start trusting yourself✨ Small ways to begin choosing yourself nowYour next chapter doesn’t begin when you feel ready. It begins the moment you decide to stop waiting—and start choosing yourself.Journal Question:Where in my life am I waiting to be chosen—and what would choosing myself look like instead?Ways to Work With Me:Ready to stop feeling stuck and start creating your next chapter? • What's actually keeping you stuck 07.05.2026 11мин
You’re not stuck. You’re practiced. If you’ve been feeling like nothing is changing… like you keep starting and stopping… like you should be further along by now—this episode will shift how you see everything.Because the problem isn’t your motivation, discipline, or ability. The problem is the emotional pattern you’ve been rehearsing on repeat. In this episode, I break down why you feel stuck (in a way you’ve likely never heard before) and how your brain and body work together to keep you in the same cycle—even when you want change. And more importantly, I show you how to interrupt that pattern and start creating real momentum. What You’ll LearnWhy feeling “stuck” isn’t a circumstance—it’s a practiced emotional stateThe hidden loop keeping you in overthinking, hesitation, and inactionHow your body gets used to certain emotions (like doubt, overwhelm, and frustration)Why change feels uncomfortable—and why that’s actually a good signThe identity shift required to finally move forwardHow to start practicing a new way of being (without waiting to feel ready)Key TakeawaysYou don’t have a motivation problem—you have a familiarity problemYour results come from repeated emotional patterns, not one-time decisionsThe discomfort you feel when changing means it’s working, not failingYou can’t create a new life from the same emotional stateSmall, consistent actions (micro-actions) are how you retrain your brain and bodyWhat’s Actually Keeping You StuckIt’s not your circumstances. It’s not your past. It’s not your lack of clarity.👉 It’s the emotional pattern you keep returning to:“I don’t know.”“This is hard.”“What if I fail?”And the feelings those thoughts create—doubt, overwhelm, hesitation—That drive the same actions…That create the same results. The ShiftYou don’t wait to feel confident to take action. You practice a new emotional state first—then take action from there. That’s how you break the cycle. That’s how you get unstuck. This is where the work begins.Final ThoughtYou’re not addicted to your problems. You’re addicted to the way you feel while living them. And the moment you learn to feel something different— your whole life starts to change.Let's go.
  • Be Delusional 30.04.2026 14мин
Everyone told you to be realistic.I'm telling you that's exactly what's been holding you back.In this episode, we're talking about the one thing every person who has ever built something extraordinary had in common — they believed before the evidence arrived. They committed before the outcome was guaranteed. They were, by every conventional measure, a little bit delusional. And it worked. This is the direct follow-on to last week's "Your Brain Is Lying To You" — and if you haven't listened to that one yet, go back and start there. This week we cover:• Why "being realistic" is just your past filter setting the ceiling on your future• How your RAS works for you — not just against you — when you give it the right instructions• Why your subconscious will prove whatever you secretly believe (make sure it's proving the right thing)• The three-part framework for being productively, strategically delusional• What it actually means to treat your dreams like memories — and why it works neurologicallyThis episode is for you if you're tired of waiting for enough evidence before you let yourself fully believe. The belief has to come first. The evidence follows.Be obsessed. Be unreasonable. Be delusional.Let's go.
  • Your Brain is Lying to You 23.04.2026 14мин
You wake up and it hits you before your eyes are even open. That low hum of wrongness. Nothing specific — just everything, all at once. That feeling has a name. And more importantly, it has a cause. In this episode, I share the story of my client Sarah — a woman who had every reason to feel good about her life and couldn't. Not because something was wrong with her. Because something was wrong with her filter. We cover:• Why your brain isn't showing you reality — it's showing you what it's been trained to look for• The neuroscience of the Reticular Activating System (RAS) and how it's quietly running your life• How gratitude — practiced intentionally — becomes the most powerful rewiring tool you have• The one small shift that started changing everything for SarahThis episode is for you if you've ever looked at a perfectly good life and wondered why it doesn't feel like enough. You don't need a different life. You need a different filter.→ Ready to find out what yours has been costing you? Book a call hereFollow me on Instagram.
  • How we argue for our limitations 16.04.2026 15мин
One of the most subtle ways we keep ourselves stuck is by arguing for our limitations. We present evidence. We explain the history. We list all the reasons something won’t work. And we do it so convincingly that it starts to feel like fact.In this episode, I break down a powerful coaching moment with a client who kept insisting she didn’t know how, wasn’t confident enough, and had never been able to do it before. But those statements weren’t facts — they were arguments for staying exactly where she was.I will explain why I will never agree with a client’s limitations, why waiting for confidence is a trap, and how people unknowingly build a case for a smaller life. You’ll learn why confidence does not come before action, how the victim mindset quietly steals your power, and what happens when you stop arguing for what you can’t do and start arguing for what might actually be possible. This episode is a powerful reminder that the biggest obstacle in your life is rarely your circumstances — it’s the story you’re telling about what you’re capable of.In This Episode You’ll LearnWhy people unconsciously argue for their limitationsThe hidden danger of saying “I can’t” or “I don’t know how”Why confidence does not come before actionHow the brain uses “lack of confidence” to avoid discomfortThe difference between a victim mindset and personal powerThe real cost of staying in the same patterns year after yearHow to start building evidence for your potential instead of your limitationsKey TakeawayConfidence is not something you wait for.Confidence is something you build through action, failure, learning, and persistence. If you keep arguing for why something isn’t possible, your brain will keep finding evidence to support that belief. But when you start arguing for your potential instead, your life begins to expand.Ask YourselfWhere in my life am I arguing for my limitations? What am I telling myself I can’t do that might actually just be something I haven’t learned yet? What would change if I stopped waiting to feel confident and started acting anyway?Work With TristaIf you want support breaking free from the patterns that keep you stuck and learning how to create a life you actually want, coaching can help.Inside You, Redefined, I teach the tools that help women stop quitting on themselves, build self-trust, and move forward with clarity and confidence. • Do the thing 09.04.2026 9мин
Today I share a short episode after feeling weighed down by the news, especially events in Lebanon where I worked for eight years as I worry about former colleagues, the country, and the stray animals and pets left behind.I reflect on an email from writer Sahil Bloom about a newspaper story in which a florist handed out coffee to people waiting outside a funeral home on a cold night, a gesture that deeply moved a mother mourning her 16-year-old son, illustrating the lesson to “just do the thing” you can do. Over the years, I have tried to do something similar, picking up trash on Lebanese beaches and elsewhere, feeding stray cats and dogs in Lebanon and Iraq, and continuing similar small efforts at home in Canada, emphasizing that even unseen impacts matter and encouraging listeners to act, not for recognition, but to leave places better than they found them. You can find Sahil Bloom's article here: Just Make the Coffee | The Curiosity ChronicleYou can follow me on Instagram here.
  • How to stop quitting on yourself 02.04.2026 15мин
Most people think quitting happens in one big moment. It doesn’t.It happens quietly through little quits. These are the tiny decisions we make every day to choose momentary comfort over long-term goals.Skipping the workout. Delaying the project. Avoiding the uncomfortable conversation. Each one seems harmless… but over time they add up.In this episode, I explain:• The difference between big quits and little quits • Why your brain constantly offers excuses for quitting • How small moments of comfort sabotage big goals • The mindset shift that builds self-trust and follow-through • Three simple ways to stop quitting on yourselfIf you’ve ever wondered why you struggle to stay consistent or finish what you start, this episode will help you understand what’s really happening — and how to change it.Mentioned in this episodeIf you want to take this work deeper, join us in You, Redefined. • There is nothing wrong with you 26.03.2026 17мин
Have you ever looked at your life and thought — I know better, so why doesn't it stick? Why can't I just... change? If you keep bumping into the same thought patterns — the self-doubt, the second-guessing, the shrinking — this episode is going to reframe everything. The problem isn't you. It's the method. And once you understand the difference between managing your mind day to day and actually rewiring it at the root, you'll stop white-knuckling your way through change and start making it stick.5 shifts covered in this episode01 - Stop identifying with the thoughtThe thought isn't you — it's a circuit. Seeing it that way strips it of its authority. Saves you from shame spirals that can last hours or days.02 - Repetition isn't enough — emotional charge isWhy affirmations often don't work, and what to do instead. This shift alone saves years of spinning your wheels on surface-level tools.03 - Interrupt the loop earlyNegative thought patterns build momentum. Learn to catch them at the first flicker — before they hijack your whole day.04 - Rewire the belief, not just the behaviorChanging behavior without changing the underlying belief is exhausting. Go upstream. This is where lasting change actually lives.05 - Make the new pattern the defaultThe goal isn't working hard at thinking differently forever. It's wiring the new pattern until it runs on autopilot — just like the old one did. Thanks for listening!Find me on Instagram.
