  • The Silent Niggle in Motherhood 18.09.2026 12мин
You're working, answering emails, on a coaching call, recording a podcast, or finally getting into a really good flow, and then a school notification pops up. Suddenly, part of your brain is somewhere else.   You're thinking about swimming lessons. Dinner. Nursery. That email you need to send. The thing you forgot to put on the calendar.   Even when you're exactly where you're supposed to be, there's this quiet feeling that maybe you should be somewhere else. That's the silent niggle. In this episode, I'm talking about the tension that can come with loving motherhood and loving your ambition at the same time. Because being present in one part of your life doesn't mean the other part stops existing. I'm sharing the mindset shift that helped me stop seeing this feeling as something I needed to fix and start seeing it as a reminder that I care deeply about more than one thing. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why the constant pull between motherhood and business can feel like you're doing something wrong Why balance doesn't mean giving everything equal attention every single day The shift from chasing "perfect balance" to being intentionally present How the mental load is about more than remembering everything. It's also about caring about so many things at once Why ambition and motherhood don't have to compete with each other Reframing your business as one of the ways you're creating security, choice, and freedom for your family What it means to stop judging your motherhood by one difficult day or your business by one interrupted afternoon The question I'm asking myself instead of "How much did I get done today?" Why the silent niggle might never completely disappear, and why that doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong Giving yourself permission to be both a deeply present mum and an ambitious woman If you've ever been halfway through a workday and suddenly felt like you should be doing something else, this conversation is for you. You don't have to choose one identity. You get to be both. • No One Talks About the Lack of Buffer Time 11.09.2026 24мин
There's a kind of exhaustion that doesn't show up on a to-do list. It's not about being disorganized or bad at time management. It's about never having a single spare minute for life to actually happen in. In this episode, I open up about growing up without a "village". My dad passed away when I was 14, my mum moved to Jamaica, my brother relocated to Scotland, and how becoming a mother without that built-in support system changed everything about how I run my business and my days. Before I had my daughter, I had freedom: flexible time, spontaneous plans, total independence. Now, as the default parent, every hour of my day is already spoken for before it even begins. This episode isn't a rant, and it isn't about comparison. It's an honest, relatable conversation about the invisible load so many mothers in business carry, and the practical shifts I've made to create breathing room, protect my energy, and stop expecting my days to run "perfectly." In this episode, I'm talking about: Why the real problem isn't a lack of time How growing up without a strong family support system shaped the way I experience motherhood and business today Why mums aren't disorganized or bad at managing time The six things I actually do to navigate this lack of buffer time Why business and motherhood move in seasons, and why trying to run your business the same way in every season sets you up to feel like you're failing The emotional labor that never makes it onto a calendar and why it still costs energy and capacity A reminder that resilience isn't running a business with zero interruptions Connect with me on Instagram here: www.instagram.com/_samanthahearne_/ Grab the Ambitious Mums Business Bundle for only £17: https://www.samanthahearneproducts.com/the-ambitious-mums-business-bundle
  • Build a Life You Want 04.09.2026 15мин
There's a version of success that looks impressive from the outside, and then there's the version that actually feels good to live. In this episode, I'm continuing our series on The Rules We're No Longer Following by asking a bigger question: what if the goal isn't simply to build a successful business, but to build a life you genuinely want to be living? Because success isn't only found in the launches, revenue, opportunities, or milestones. It's in the ordinary Tuesdays. It's how you feel when you finish work, whether you have the energy to be present with the people you love, and whether the business you've built is actually giving you more of the life you wanted in the first place. I'm talking about how my own definition of success has evolved through motherhood, why I've become much more intentional about the opportunities I say yes to, and why ambition and presence don't have to compete. Your business can create wealth, impact, freedom, and stability while still supporting the person you want to be outside of it. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why building a successful business means very little if you don't enjoy the life it creates How my definition of success has changed as I've moved through motherhood and different seasons of life Why the ordinary days matter just as much as the big milestones The question I ask myself before saying yes to clients, opportunities, events, and commitments Why not every exciting opportunity is aligned with the life you actually want How to stop borrowing your definition of success from social media, your industry, or other people Why work and family don't have to compete and how business can become the vehicle for creating more choice How motherhood has taught me to protect my time, energy, boundaries, and priorities Why sustainable stability matters more than growing the quickest or scaling the fastest How to define your own values, priorities, pace, dreams, and version of "enough" Why so many of our business goals are really life goals underneath What it looks like to build a business that supports your life rather than asking you to sacrifice it You don't have to prove your ambition through exhaustion or postpone enjoying your life until you hit the next milestone. You get to decide what success means to you, and build your business around that definition. Listen to the full episode for an invitation to rethink what you're building toward and create a version of success that feels just as good to live as it looks from the outside. • You Are Allowed to Change Your Mind 01.09.2026 14мин
There's a difference between staying committed to what matters and staying committed to a version of your life or business that no longer fits. In this episode, I'm continuing our series on the rules we're no longer following with one that keeps so many ambitious women stuck: the belief that once you've chosen a path, you have to stay on it. Even when you've changed. Even when your priorities have shifted. Even when something inside you is telling you it's time for something different. I'm sharing some of the biggest pivots I've made in my own life and business, from leaving teaching and changing the direction of my work to becoming a mom and rethinking what success needed to look like for me. Because changing your mind doesn't make everything that came before a mistake. Sometimes, that chapter did exactly what it needed to do, and now it's time to turn the page. In this episode, I'm talking about:  Why staying consistent doesn't have to mean staying the same How fear of what other people will think can keep you committed to decisions you've already outgrown The major changes I've made throughout my career, life, and business and why I chose to make them How motherhood changed my relationship with ambition, success, freedom, and the business I wanted to build Why the version of you who made yesterday's decisions doesn't have to live with them forever The sunk cost fallacy and why what you've already invested shouldn't automatically dictate what you do next How to recognise when your business needs to evolve alongside you The changes I've recently made to my own brand, offers, audience, and way of working Why changing your mind doesn't mean the chapter you're leaving behind was a mistake The questions to ask yourself when you know something no longer fits but you're afraid to choose differently You don't owe your past self a future that no longer feels like yours. You're allowed to evolve, rethink what you want, build differently, and become someone you couldn't have imagined when you made those original decisions. Listen to the full episode to hear why changing your mind might be one of the boldest and most important decisions you make. • These Rules Were Never Made for You 14.08.2026 20мин
What if the version of success you're chasing was never actually built with you in mind? Most of us inherited a blueprint for success that rewards constant availability, endless hours, and a straight line from goal to goal, never stopping, never stepping back. But life isn't linear. Energy isn't linear. Kids, hormones, sleep, and everything else that makes up a real life? Definitely not linear. So why do we keep measuring ourselves against a model that was never designed for women, let alone mothers, in the first place? In this episode, we're unpacking one of the biggest lies of modern ambition: that success requires sacrifice. That you have to earn your rest, survive your launches, and wait for some future finish line before you're finally allowed to enjoy your life. We're flipping that idea on its head, because building a business that fuels your life instead of draining it isn't just possible, it's a completely different (and better) way to lead. If you've ever felt like you're chasing a goalpost that keeps moving, this episode is your permission slip to stop, question the rulebook, and start designing a version of success that actually feels like freedom. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why so many ambitious women feel like they're "surviving" success instead of enjoying it The difference between building a business to rescue you versus building one to fuel your life Why growth without intention just becomes another form of pressure Learning to say no, and why it's earned me as much as saying yes ever has The courage it takes to build slowly, protect your time, and rest without guilt Why productivity isn't the same as peace, and peace is the real indicator of sustainability How becoming a mom made me more intentional, not less ambitious Why your identity and self-worth were never meant to be tied to your revenue The philosophy behind "Business Done Better" and what it really means to build better, not just bigger Three powerful questions to help you get honest about whether your business is fueling your life or quietly stealing from it Connect with me on Instagram here: www.instagram.com/_samanthahearne_/ Grab the Ambitious Mums Business Bundle for only £17: https://www.samanthahearneproducts.com/the-ambitious-mums-business-bundle
  • It is Never Just About Money 14.08.2026 12мин
What if the goals you're chasing have never really been about money? Behind every ambitious dream is usually something much bigger: more time with your family, greater security, the freedom to make choices, or the chance to show the next generation what's possible. In this episode, we're exploring why success is about so much more than personal achievement. Because when one woman builds a life on her own terms, the impact doesn't stop with her. It changes her family, influences her community, and gives others permission to dream bigger, too. If you've ever questioned whether your ambition is worth it, this conversation will remind you that your success creates a ripple effect far beyond what you can see. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why your success is about more than just you. The power of representation and why seeing women succeed changes what's possible for others. How motherhood can deepen your ambition instead of diminishing it. Why money is rarely the end goal, but the freedom and opportunities it creates. The ripple effect of women building profitable, purpose-driven businesses. How your decisions quietly shape what your children and others believe is possible. Why leadership isn't about status, but about creating opportunities for future generations. How building wealth can strengthen families, communities, and lasting legacies. Three powerful questions to help you think about the impact your success can have on the people around you. • You Do Not Need Permission 14.08.2026 12мин
How much of your life have you spent waiting for the "right time"? The right time to raise your prices. Launch your idea. Change careers. Invest in yourself. Say no. Think bigger. So many of us believe we're waiting for more confidence, more experience, or someone else's approval. But underneath it all is a much deeper question: Am I allowed? In this episode, we're breaking the habit of waiting for permission to build the life and business you truly want. Because confidence doesn't come before the leap. It comes because you took it. If you've been holding yourself back, waiting until you feel more ready, this conversation is the reminder you've been needing. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why so many women wait for permission before making big decisions. The hidden ways we seek approval without even realising it. Why confidence is built through action, not before it. The difference between seeking permission and asking for support. How people-pleasing can quietly hold you back from leading. Why becoming a leader means making decisions that not everyone will understand. How waiting for the "perfect time" keeps you stuck. What happens when you stop shrinking your ambition to make other people comfortable. Three powerful questions to help you stop waiting and start deciding. • More Women Deserve to be Making More Money 07.08.2026 14мин
Why do so many women feel the need to apologise for wanting more? More income. More freedom. More security. More opportunities for their families. Somewhere along the way, we've been taught that once our bills are paid, wanting more money is selfish or greedy. But what if money isn't about status at all? What if it's about choice? In this episode, we're breaking the belief that ambitious women should stay quiet about their financial goals. Because money isn't just a number in your bank account. It's the ability to create options, reduce stress, support the people you love, and build a life on your own terms. If you've ever felt guilty for dreaming bigger financially, this conversation will challenge everything you've been taught about wealth, ambition, and what's truly possible. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why so many women feel guilty for wanting to make more money. The difference between greed and financial ambition. How money creates freedom, security, and more choices for your family. Why women often downplay or apologise for their financial goals. The unique mindset shift that happens when you become the breadwinner. How building wealth allows you to create a greater impact for others. Why understanding your numbers is one of the most empowering things you can do. How to connect your income goals to the life you actually want to live. • Busy is Not a Status to Admire 07.08.2026 13мин
When someone asks how you're doing, is your first instinct to say, "Busy"? For so many of us, being busy has become something we wear like a badge of honour. We equate full calendars with success, constant motion with progress, and exhaustion with ambition. But what if all that busyness is actually keeping you from building the life you want? In this episode, we're challenging the idea that being overwhelmed makes you more successful. Instead, we're exploring what happens when you stop measuring your worth by how much you can fit into a day and start focusing on what actually moves your life and business forward. If you've been stuck in a cycle of always doing more, this conversation might give you permission to do less and accomplish far more. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why we've normalised being busy as proof that we're successful. The difference between being constantly busy and making meaningful progress. How overwhelm has become a form of social currency. Why leaders prioritise clarity, boundaries, and intentional decisions instead of constant hustle. The mindset shift from asking, "How much can I get done today?" to "What would make today matter?" Why your value isn't measured by how available you are to everyone else. How social media reinforces the pressure to always be doing more. The role clarity plays in creating sustainable success. Three powerful questions to help you rethink your relationship with time, productivity, and self-worth. • Success Doesn't Have to Cost You Your Life 07.08.2026 14мин
What if the life you're working so hard to build is the very thing you're missing while you're building it? Somewhere along the way, we've been taught that success requires exhaustion. That long hours, constant hustle, saying yes to everything, and sacrificing ourselves is simply the price of getting where we want to go. In this episode, we're questioning that belief. Whether you're building a business, raising a family, climbing your career ladder, or simply trying to create a life you're proud of, this conversation will challenge the way you define success. Because what if success wasn't measured by how much you can carry, but by the life you've created because of it? If you've ever wondered, "Is this really what I worked so hard for?", this episode is for you. In this episode, I'm talking about: Why so many of us unknowingly follow outdated rules about success. How hustle culture convinces us that sacrifice equals achievement. The moment everything changed after becoming a parent and why success had to be redefined. Why reaching your goals can still leave you feeling trapped. The difference between building a business that supports your life versus one that consumes it. Why your ambition doesn't need to shrink, but your definition of success might need to change. How to measure success by what it allows you to say yes to instead of how much you can fit into a day. Three powerful questions to help you redefine what success looks like for your own life. • The Distinctive Edge as a Business Owner in 2025 04.07.2025 45мин
There's something that no one tells you when you start a business: it's not always about who's the smartest, who has the best graphics, or who shouts the loudest online. The ones who make it, the ones who actually last, have something else.   They have an edge.   In this episode, I sat down with Megan Yelaney, one of the most grounded, no-BS business coaches I know. Megan's been in the game since 2012. She's seen trends come and go. She's seen launches blow up and businesses burn out. And what she's learned is that the entrepreneurs who stand out aren't the ones doing the most—they're the ones who know who the hell they are.   Megan coined the phrase "your distinctive edge," and let me tell you: once you hear her break it down, it will change how you show up. We're talking about building a brand that feels like home.   From the power of being relatable and aspirational, to why repeating your origin story weekly isn't annoying (it's genius), to how to craft a personal brand that doesn't burn you out—this is a full-on mini masterclass. And it's one that every woman in business needs to hear.   In this episode, you'll learn:  [00:50] | Megan's Journey From Network Marketing to Business Strategy How Megan went from wellness to coaching, and what she discovered about the people who actually stick around in the industry.   [03:36] | Why Building a Lasting Business Matters More Than a Big Launch The longevity in business and why "slow and steady is sexy."   [04:19] | What If You Don't Feel Like You Have a Distinctive Edge? Why being "normal" is actually your advantage and how your personality can become your most potent brand asset.   [05:52] | The Power of Being Relatable AND Aspirational How to find that sweet spot between being your audience's bestie and their biggest goal.   [08:04] | The Chanel Bag Moment A real-talk moment about values, wealth, and being rooted in what actually matters to you.   [11:27] | Megan's 5-Part Framework for Your Business Story Megan walks through the exact blueprint to make your story unforgettable.   [16:50] | A Real Client Example of Turning Story into Strategy Megan shares a case study of how a health coach unlocked her edge through her unique "Foundation Fix" phase.   [18:28] | Where & How Often Should You Tell Your Story? From emails to reels to carousels—Megan breaks down the content strategy behind storytelling that actually converts.   [19:49] | The Carousel That Got 9 Inquiries + 3 High-Ticket Sales in 48 Hours How one hook ("I gained 10 pounds during COVID...") turned into real sales—and why simplicity works.   [22:00] | Why Repetition is Key—Even on Instagram Why you should be telling your story every single week, and how to change the hook, not the heart of the message.   [24:14] | Can You Have More Than One Origin Story? Spoiler: YES. We unpack how different stories attract different clients—and how to choose the right one.   [26:56] | It's Okay Not to Share Certain Stories Even if your story is powerful—like infertility, loss, divorce—you get to choose what becomes part of your brand.   [30:13] | How to Tell Stories That Connect Without Always Selling Not every post needs a CTA to sell—sometimes, connection is enough.   [32:34] | Organic Selling That Doesn't Feel Like Selling Megan's philosophy on "selling without selling," and how to invite people to work with you in a way that feels like service.   [34:48] | The 5-Day Storytelling Challenge Share one story every day you're on social media—and watch what happens.   [36:07] | Sam's London Marathon Confession My personal story from the London Marathon—and how it connects directly to my brand values.   [40:30] | The Power of Personality and Values in Building Trust This might be the most important takeaway: people hire people they know. • Using Email Marketing to Make Sales in Your Business 13.06.2025 47мин
You know those moments when you're doing all the things in your business like sending the newsletter, posting on socials, launching different offers—but your email list still feels like it's just… there? Not converting. Not doing much of anything. I've been there too. That's exactly why I brought on today's guest: Kennedy from Email Marketing Heroes.   Kennedy has helped over 8,000 paying clients master email marketing in a way that's simple, sustainable, and actually profitable. Before all that? He was a psychological entertainer performing on luxury cruise ships (yes, really). So when he talks about understanding people, (and getting them to take action) he knows exactly what he's doing.   In this episode, we go deep into the real purpose of your email list, how to finally build what Kennedy calls your "sausage machine" (aka a system that predictably turns subscribers into buyers), and why sending more emails—yes, even three a week—might be the smartest move you make this year.   Because here's the truth: building a list isn't enough. What you need is a system. A machine. Something that runs in the background and brings in sales on repeat.   This conversation is a full-on masterclass in how to stop winging it with your emails and start selling with clarity and confidence—without spending hours writing newsletters no one reads.   In this episode, you'll learn: [04:22] | Why Your Business Is Harder Without an Email List Kennedy breaks down why every part of your business gets easier once you have an engaged list, and what you're missing if you're not converting through email.   [08:31] | The Only 3 Things You Should Focus On in Your Business Those 3 things being audience building, conversion, and service, and how email automates one whole chunk of your workload.   [13:59] | The Sausage Machine Strategy: Turn Leads into Sales How to create a system where every subscriber becomes a buyer and why most people never scale because they skip this part.   [19:25] | The Truth About Email Metrics Kennedy explains why the only metric that matters is how today compares to yesterday.   [24:30] | Want Higher Open Rates? Email More Often The real reason people aren't opening your emails (it's not your subject lines) and why you should be emailing 3x a week—minimum.   [28:22] | The Simple Email Framework That Converts: Story, Lesson, Offer How Kennedy writes daily emails that sell, in 15 minutes or less and how you can steal this method today.   [34:14] | Planning Your Email Calendar Around Promotions How to structure story-based emails around launch windows without overwhelming your list or yourself.   [36:02] | Which Email Software Should You Use? Kennedy's honest take on choosing the right platform (spoiler: pick the one that makes you want to puke the least).   [40:23] | Haven't Emailed in a While? Picture this: you're sitting at your desk, maybe with a coffee in hand, thinking about all the content you should be creating to grow your brand. Instagram posts. Reels. Email newsletters. Maybe a blog or two. It feels like a never-ending hamster wheel, right?   Now imagine if one piece of content could do all of that for you. One episode. Multiple platforms. Endless visibility. • What is Intentional Thinking with Pete Cohen 09.05.2025 53мин
Let's get real—this is one of the most honest and freeing conversations I've had, not just with myself, but with someone who truly gets it. In this episode, I'm joined by Pete Cohen, keynote speaker, author, and internationally renowned coach with over 30 years of experience helping people and organizations move from simply surviving to fully thriving.   Pete has coached Olympic champions, corporate leaders, and some of the most high-performing individuals in the world. In this episode, he brings his signature blend of wisdom, clarity, and radical encouragement to our conversation about intentional thinking, identity, and creating a life that feels deeply aligned.   I'm also opening up about why I took a pause from this podcast—not because I was burned out, but because I felt deeply called to slow down, get quiet, and listen to what my life was trying to tell me. That space gave me the clarity I didn't know I was missing—and it's reshaping everything, from my business model to how I define success.   Pete and I also talk about the very human experience of navigating transitions—the messy middle between who you've been and who you're becoming—and how intentional thinking can be a grounding force in that process.   This is a heart-led conversation about doing business, motherhood, creativity, and life differently. More honestly. More freely. More aligned.   In this episode, you'll learn: [03:15] | Why I Took a Step Back from the Podcast I talk about the intuitive pause I felt called to take, how it led to a powerful reset, and why those quieter seasons can be the most transformational.   [06:40] | The Real Reason I'm Restructuring My Business I open up about what burnout taught me about hustle culture, my own limits, and the importance of honoring the season I'm in.   [10:25] | Embracing Ease Without Losing Momentum I'm learning to lead with more softness, stillness, and self-trust—and I share how that's showing up in both my life and business right now.   [15:30] | What Happens When You Release Control This part gets vulnerable: the magic (and discomfort) of surrendering outcomes, and why that surrender has been essential to my growth.   [21:10] | A New Way to Think About Productivity I'm redefining what it means to "get things done"—without pushing, proving, or performing.   [28:00] | How My Business Model Was Draining Me I realized my current structure no longer fits who I am. I share the bold shifts I'm making to create more freedom, flow, and alignment.   [34:45] | The Power of Full Presence in Motherhood and Entrepreneurship I reflect on what I'm learning about being with what is—instead of holding onto what was or rushing into what's next.   [40:15] | Reconnecting to Creativity and Content From a Place of Authenticity When my voice went quiet, I had to learn how to stop forcing content. I talk about how I'm reigniting my creativity from a deeper, truer place.   [47:05] | What's Next for the Brand and Community I give you a behind-the-scenes look at what's evolving—from new offers to the ways I want to serve with even more depth and intention.   Connect with me on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/_samanthahearne_/    Connect with Pete Cohen here: https://www.petecohen.com/    Join The Bulletproof Experience Membership here: https://www.samanthahearneproducts.com/Bulletproof

  • You and Your Energetic Execution 11.04.2025 27мин
Imagine this: It's a Tuesday, your brain feels like a browser with 38 tabs open, and somehow you're expected to be everything to everyone—business owner, partner, friend, maybe a parent too—while still making time to drink enough water and act like you've got it all together. Sound familiar?   In this episode, I'm pulling back the curtain and getting real with you about something that's been coming up A LOT lately—in my own life, with my clients, and in conversations with so many women: the myth of "doing it all." Because truthfully? Trying to be everywhere, for everyone, all the time… it's not just exhausting—it's unsustainable. And it's time we stop celebrating it.   I'm diving into what "balance" really looks like when you're running a business, living a full life, and trying not to lose yourself in the middle of it all. We're talking boundaries, burnout, energy, and the powerful shift that happens when you give yourself full permission to do less, but with so much more intention.   So whether you're out on a walk, folding laundry, or just taking a moment for yourself, this one's for you.   In this episode, you'll learn: [03:10] | The Myth of Balance My journey chasing the elusive idea of "balance" and how it nearly led me to burnout.  What I've learned to do instead that works a whole lot better.   [06:42] - Real Talk on Boundaries How to stop feeling guilty for saying "no" and start honoring our own needs. How I set (and stick to) boundaries, and why it's a radical act of self-respect.   [10:25] - When Hustle Culture Backfires Why hustle culture is a trap. The pressure we all feel to "do it all" and why I'm done with that mindset.   [13:53] - The Power of Doing Less How I've simplified my business (and my life) in a way that still makes a major impact, but without all the chaos and overwhelm.   [17:38] - Parenting + Business: Can They Coexist? Lessons learned as a mom and entrepreneur. Highs and lows of trying to balance raising kids with running a business.   [20:50] - Listener Q&A "What if people get mad when I set boundaries?" My honest thoughts on standing firm in your boundaries, even when it feels uncomfortable.   Connect with me on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/_samanthahearne_/    Join The Bulletproof Experience here: https://www.samanthahearneproducts.com/Bulletproof
  • The Month of the Marathon 04.04.2025 13мин
It's officially April, which means I am just weeks away from tackling one of the biggest challenges on my bucket list: the London Marathon. And let me tell you, this journey has been everything—grueling, exhilarating, humbling, and absolutely packed with lessons that apply far beyond running.   So, here's the deal. I used to be a PE teacher, which means I love a good sports metaphor (get ready for plenty!). But more than that, training for this marathon has made me reflect on something huge: how eerily similar the road to running 26.2 miles is to building a business. The setbacks, the unexpected challenges, the absolute need to invest in yourself—it all translates. And trust me, some of these insights will hit you right between the eyes.   In this episode, I'm peeling back the curtain on what marathon training has really taught me about success. From pushing through freezing winter runs (hello, English weather!) to investing in the right support (yes, I spent £180 on trainers and no, I do not regret it), this journey has been a masterclass in resilience, commitment, and trusting the process. And guess what? The same principles apply to you and your business.   Whether you're launching something new, scaling up, or just trying to figure out your next move—this episode is for you.    In this episode, you'll learn: [01:30 - 03:15] | Sports Metaphors & Life Lessons Former PE teacher, loves sports analogies. Sports and business have so much in common. Some lessons will be obvious, others surprising.   [03:15 - 05:00] | Training Struggles & Self-Discovery Winter training has been rough—cold weather, injuries, setbacks. But these challenges have revealed a lot about resilience. Pushing through struggles is part of the process.   [05:00 - 06:45] | The Activator Mindset Identifying as an "activator"—helping others take action. Realising the importance of activating myself first. Consumption vs. absorption of knowledge—are we really taking in what we learn?   [06:45 - 08:30] | Parallels Between Marathon Training & Business Success isn't just about showing up on race day—it's about preparation. Business is the same: strategy, execution, and persistence matter. Biggest personal & financial investments in 2025—business coach + marathon.   [08:30 - 10:15] | Investing in the Right Support Spent £180 on proper running shoes—ouch, but worth it! Cheap shortcuts can lead to setbacks (injuries in running, failure in business). The right investments make success sustainable.   [10:15 - 11:45] | Embracing the Process Growth feels uncomfortable, but it won't always feel new. What once seemed overwhelming becomes second nature. Enjoy the journey, even the hard parts.
