  • Why it's better to go slow in order to learn fast (Episode 16) 15.06.2026 15мин
In this episode I talk about a few reasons why it is better to pace yourself rather than trying to cram and learn as much as possible as quickly as possible. It is tempting, especially at the start of learning a language, when motivation is high, to ambitiously decide to study a lot every day, hours on end, quickly finish one topic and move on to the next. But it is in fact better to go slow, spend some more time, and truly get the feel of the language. What is your tendency with language learning? Is it to jump right in with high intensity, or to take it slow and steady, focusing on building a good foundation?Book a private 1:1 online Norwegian lesson: https://calendly.com/tulahelena014/1-1-norwegian-lesson-60-minSupport the podcast and get access to resources such as vocabulary lists, practice questions and episode transcripts for each podcast episode: https://patreon.com/tulatenkerhoyt?utm_medium=unknown&utm_source=join_link&utm_campaign=creatorshare_creator&utm_content=copyLinkInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/tulatenkerhoyt/Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@tulatenkerh%C3%B8yt Try online language lessons with tutors from all over the world, in your target language on Italki - Get 10 Free Credits with your first purchase when using this link: https://www.italki.com/affshare?ref=af7529801 (This is an affiliate link that means I might receive compensation if you click links to products and services or make a purchase.)
