200 - Hadith – Known Only to God 15.09.2026 6минNarrated Ibn `Umar:The Prophet said, "The keys of the unseen are five and none knows them but Allah: (1) None knows (the sex) what is in the womb, but Allah: (2) None knows what will happen tomorrow, but Allah; (3) None knows when it will rain, but Allah; (4) None knows where he will die, but Allah (knows that); (5) and none knows when the Hour will be established, but Allah." -

198 - Quran - Surah 69 – Al-Haqqah - The Reality 15.08.2026 37мин1The Inevitable Hour!2What is the Inevitable Hour?3And what will make you realize what the Inevitable Hour is?4˹Both˺ Thamûd and ’Ȃd denied the Striking Disaster.5As for Thamûd, they were destroyed by an overwhelming blast.6And as for ’Ȃd, they were destroyed by a furious, bitter wind7which God unleashed on them non-stop for seven nights and eight days, so that you would have seen its people lying dead like trunks of uprooted palm trees.8Do you see any of them left alive?9Also, Pharaoh and those before him, and ˹the people of˺ the overturned cities ˹of Lot˺ indulged in sin,10each disobeying their Lord’s messenger, so He seized them with a crushing grip.11Indeed, when the floodwater had overflowed, We carried you in the floating Ark ˹with Noah˺,12so that We may make this a reminder to you, and that attentive ears may grasp it.13At last, when the Trumpet will be blown with one blast,14and the earth and mountains will be lifted up and crushed with one blow,15on that Day the Inevitable Event will have come to pass.16The sky will then be so torn that it will be frail,17with the angels on its sides. On that Day eight ˹mighty angels˺ will bear the Throne of your Lord above them.18You will then be presented ˹ before Him for judgment˺, and none of your secrets will stay hidden.19As for those given their records in their right hand, they will cry ˹happily˺, “Here ˹everyone˺! Read my record!20I surely knew I would face my reckoning.”21They will be in a life of bliss,22in an elevated Garden,23whose fruit will hang within reach.24˹They will be told,˺ “Eat and drink joyfully for what you did in the days gone by.”25And as for those given their record in their left hand, they will cry ˹bitterly˺, “I wish I had not been given my record,26nor known anything of my reckoning!27I wish death was the end!28My wealth has not benefited me!29My authority has been stripped from me.”30˹It will be said,˺ “Seize and shackle them,31then burn them in Hell,32then tie them up with chains seventy arms long.33For they never had faith in God, the Greatest,34nor encouraged the feeding of the poor.35So this Day they will have no close friend here,36nor any food except ˹oozing˺ pus,37which none will eat except the evildoers.”38Now, I do swear by whatever you see,39and whatever you cannot see!40Indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is the recitation of a noble Messenger.41It is not the prose of a poet ˹as you claim˺, ˹yet˺ you hardly have any faith.42Nor is it the mumbling of a fortune-teller, ˹yet˺ you are hardly mindful.43˹It is˺ a revelation from the Lord of all worlds.44Had the Messenger made up something in Our Name,45We would have certainly seized him by his right hand,46then severed his aorta,47and none of you could have shielded him ˹from Us˺!48Indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is a reminder to those mindful ˹of God˺.49And We certainly know that some of you will persist in denial,50and it will surely be a source of regret for the disbelievers.51And indeed, this ˹Quran˺ is the absolute truth.52So glorify the Name of your Lord, the Greatest. -

196 - Hadith – The Evil Eye 15.07.2026 8минThe evil eye... what it meant then, and what it means now. -
195 - Islamic History – 628 - Hudaybiyyah 01.07.2026 25минThe lead up to the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah. Muhammad brings his followers to the borders of Mecca, demanding to make a pilgrimage to the Kaaba. -
194 - Quran - Surah 70 – Al-Ma'arij - The Ascending Stairways 15.06.2026 28мин70:1 A challenger has demanded a punishment bound to come 70:2 for the disbelievers—to be averted by none— 70:3 from Allah, Lord of pathways of ˹heavenly˺ ascent, 70:4 ˹through which˺ the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit will ascend to Him on a Day fifty thousand years in length. 70:5 So endure ˹this denial, O Prophet,˺ with beautiful patience. 70:6 They truly see this ˹Day˺ as impossible, 70:7 but We see it as inevitable. 70:8 On that Day the sky will be like molten brass 70:9 and the mountains like ˹tufts of˺ wool. 70:10 And no close friend will ask ˹about˺ their friends, 70:11 ˹although˺ they will be made to see each other. The wicked will wish to ransom themselves from the punishment of that Day by their children, 70:12 their spouses, their siblings, 70:13 their clan that sheltered them, 70:14 and everyone on earth altogether, just to save themselves. 70:15 But no! There will certainly be a raging Flame 70:16 ripping off scalps. 70:17 It will summon whoever turned their backs ˹on Allah˺ and turned away ˹from the truth˺, 70:18 and gathered and hoarded ˹wealth˺. 70:19 Indeed, humankind was created impatient: 70:20 distressed when touched with evil, 70:21 and withholding when touched with good— 70:22 except those who pray, 70:23 consistently performing their prayers; 70:24 and who give the rightful share of their wealth 70:25 to the beggar and the poor; 70:26 and who ˹firmly˺ believe in the Day of Judgment; 70:27 and those who fear the punishment of their Lord— 70:28 ˹knowing that˺ none should feel secure from their Lord’s punishment— 70:29 and those who guard their chastity 70:30 except with their wives or those ˹bondwomen˺ in their possession, for then they are free from blame, 70:31 but whoever seeks beyond that are the transgressors. 70:32 ˹The faithful are˺ also those who are true to their trusts and covenants; 70:33 and who are honest in their testimony; 70:34 and who are ˹properly˺ observant of their prayers. 70:35 These will be in Gardens, held in honour. 70:36 So what is the matter with the disbelievers that they rush ˹head-long˺ towards you ˹O Prophet˺, 70:37 from the right and the left, in groups ˹to mock you˺? 70:38 Does every one of them expect to be admitted into a Garden of Bliss? 70:39 But no! Indeed, they ˹already˺ know what We created them from. 70:40 So, I do swear by the Lord of ˹all˺ the points of sunrise and sunset that We are truly capable 70:41 of replacing them with ˹others˺ better than them, and We cannot be prevented ˹from doing so˺. 70:42 So let them indulge ˹in falsehood˺ and amuse ˹themselves˺ until they face their Day, which they have been threatened with— 70:43 the Day they will come forth from the graves swiftly, as if racing to an idol ˹for a blessing˺,70:44 with eyes downcast, utterly covered with disgrace. That is the Day they have ˹always˺ been warned of. -

192 - Hadith – The Rock and the Jew 15.05.2026 14минAllah's Messenger said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him." -

190 - Quran - Surah 71 – Nuh - Noah 15.04.2026 26минWe sent Noah to his people: “Warn your people before there comes upon them a painful punishment.” He said, “O my people, I am to you a clear warner.Worship God and reverence Him, and obey me. And He will forgive you of your sins, and reprieve you until a stated term. God’s term cannot be deferred once it has arrived, if you only knew.” He said, “My Lord, I have called my people night and day. But my call added only to their flight. Whenever I call them to You, so that You may forgive them, they thrust their fingers into their ears, and wrap themselves in their garments, and persist, and are arrogant with utmost arrogance. Then I called them openly. Then I announced to them, and I spoke to them privately. I said, ‘Ask your Lord for forgiveness; He is Forgiving. He will send down upon you abundant rain from the sky.And provide you with wealth and children, and give you gardens, and give you rivers.’” What is the matter with you, that you do not attribute to God any grandeur? When He created you in stages? Do you not see how God created seven heavens in layers? And placed the moon in them as a light, and the sun as a lamp? And God made you grow from the earth like plants. Then He will return you into it, and bring you out again. And God made the earth a carpet for you. That you may travel its spacious paths.’” Noah said, “My Lord, they have disobeyed me, and followed him whose wealth and children will not increase him except in loss. And they devised a mighty scheme. And they said, ‘Do not abandon your gods; do not abandon Wadd, nor Suwa’, nor Yaghuth, and Ya’uq, and Nasr.’” “They have misled many. So increase the wrongdoers only in error.” Because of their sins, they were drowned, and were admitted into a Fire. And they found no helpers against God. Noah said, “My Lord, do not leave on the earth any dweller from among the disbelievers. If You leave them, they will mislead Your servants, and will breed only wicked disbelievers. My Lord, forgive me, and my parents, and whoever enters my house as a believer, and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in perdition.” -

188 - Hadith - Nothing is in Vain for a Believer 15.03.2026 8минStrange are the ways of a believer for there is good in every affair of his and this is not the case with anyone else except in the case of a believer for if he has an occasion to feel delight, he thanks (God), thus there is a good for him in it, and if he gets into trouble and shows resignation (and endures it patiently), there is a good for him in it. -

We look at the social dynamics surrounding this, and well as the main people responsible for fueling the rumors. -
186 - Quran - Surah 72 – Al-Jinn - The Jinn 14.02.2026 28минSay, “It was revealed to me that a band of jinn listened in, and said, ‘We have heard a wondrous Quran. It guides to righteousness, so we have believed in it; and we will never associate anyone with our Lord. And Exalted is the Majesty of our Lord—He has taken neither a wife nor a son.But the fools among us used to say outrageous things about God.We thought that humans and jinn would never utter a lie about God.Some of the humans used to seek refuge with some of the jinn, but they increased them in arrogance. They thought, as you thought, that God would never resurrect anyone. We tried to reach heaven, but found it filled with stern guards and shooting stars. We used to sit there on seats to listen, but anyone listening now will find a shooting star in ambush. We do not know whether evil is intended for those on earth, or their Lord intends for them rectitude. Some of us are righteous, and some of us are otherwise: we follow divergent paths. We know that we cannot frustrate God on earth, and we cannot escape Him by fleeing. And when we heard the guidance, we believed in it. Whoever believes in his Lord fears no loss nor injustice.Among us are the Muslims (submissive ones), and among us are the deviators. As for those who submit—these have sought the right path. But as for the deviators, they will be fuel for Hell.’”If they were to keep firmly to the path, We would give them plenty of rain.To test them with it. Whoever turns away from the remembrance of his Lord, He will direct him to an escalating punishment. The places of worship are for God alone, so do not call on anyone else with God.When God’s servant stood up calling on Him, they almost swarmed him.Say, “I pray only to my Lord, and I never associate anyone else with Him.”Say, “It is not in my power to harm you, nor to bring you to right conduct.”Say, “No one can protect me from God, and I will find no refuge except in Him.But only preaching from God and His messages. Whoever disobeys God and His Messenger—for him is the Fire of Hell, abiding therein forever.”Until, when they see what they were promised, they will know who is weaker in helpers, and fewer in numbers.Say, “I do not know whether what you are promised is near, or whether my Lord will postpone it for a while.”The Knower of the Invisible; He does not disclose His Invisible to anyone.Except to a messenger of His choice. He then appoints guards before him and behind him. That He may know that they have conveyed the messages of their Lord. He encompasses in His knowledge everything, and He keeps count of everything. -

184 - Hadith - This Religion Is Defective... I Want to Return It 15.01.2026 9минA Bedouin came to the Prophet and gave a pledge of allegiance for embracing Islam. The next day he came with fever and said (to the Prophet), "Please cancel my pledge (of embracing Islam and of emigrating to Medina)." The Prophet refused (that request) three times and said, "Medina is like a furnace, it expels out the impurities (bad persons) and selects the good ones and makes them perfect." -
183 - Islamic History – The Year After the Trench 01.01.2026 29минThe year after the Battle of the Trench was a flurry of raids and diplomacy and treaties that continued to tighten the noose around the Quraysh in Mecca. 182 - Quran - Surah 73 - Al-Muzzammil - The Enshrouded One 15.12.2025 32минO you wrapped ˹in your clothes˺!Stand all night ˹in prayer˺ except a little—˹pray˺ half the night, or a little less,or a little more—and recite the Quran ˹properly˺ in ameasured way.˹For˺ We will soon send upon you a weighty revelation.Indeed, worship in the night is more impactful and suitable for recitation. For during the day you are over-occupied ˹with worldly duties˺.Always˺ remember the Name of your Lord, and devote yourself to Him wholeheartedly.˹He is the˺ Lord of the east and the west. There is no god˹worthy of worship˺ except Him, so take Him ˹alone˺ as a Trustee of Affairs.Be patient ˹O Prophet˺ with what they say, and depart from them courteously. And leave to Me the deniers—the people of luxury—and bear with them for a little while.˹For˺ We certainly have shackles, a ˹raging˺ Fire, choking food, and a painful punishment ˹in store for them˺on the Day the earth and mountains will shake ˹violently˺,and mountains will be ˹reduced to˺ dunes of shifting sand.Indeed, We have sent to you a messenger as a witness over you, just as We sent a messenger to Pharaoh. But Pharaoh disobeyed the messenger, so We seized him with a stern grip.If you ˹pagans˺ persist in disbelief, then how will you guard yourselves against ˹the horrors of˺ a Day which will turn children’s hair grey?It will ˹even˺ cause the sky to split apart. His promise ˹of judgment˺ must be fulfilled.Surely this is a reminder. So let whoever wills take the ˹Right˺ Way to their Lord.Surely your Lord knows that you ˹O Prophet˺ stand ˹in prayer˺ for nearly two-thirds of the night, or ˹sometimes˺ half of it, or a third, as do some of those with you. Allah ˹alone˺ keeps a ˹precise˺ measure of the day and night. He knows that you ˹believers˺ are unable to endure this, and has turned to you in mercy. So recite ˹in prayer˺ whatever you can from the Quran. He knows that some of you will be sick, some will be travelling throughout the land seeking Allah’s bounty, and some fighting in the cause of Allah. So recite whatever you can from it. And ˹continue to˺ perform ˹regular˺ prayers, pay alms-tax, and lend to Allah a good loan. Whatever good you send forth for yourselves, you will find it with Allah far better and more rewarding. And seek Allah’s forgiveness. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful. -
181 - Biblical Figures in Islam Part 36 – New Testament - The Apostles Part 7 – John - The Gospel 01.12.2025 35минThe Gospel of John, almost in its entirety, contradicts the Quran. We go over some key passages and go over some key parts that are significant to Muslims… including what some believe to be a prediction of Muhammad.
