He was a theater critic for many years and still occasionally reviews plays. He has written for magazines and newspapers since the first Internet boom. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two daughters.

LoBue is a multi-disciplined artist who works from collage art, mixed media, installations, digital self-portraits and performance art. Her optimal platform is bringing awareness to complex female narratives through her form of resistance in her art work across different mediums using groundbreaking themes in female gender empowerment, social commentary and the human experience.
