As we have been observing the state of affairs in our country, and the world by extension, over the last couple of years, the call to repent rings true, sharp and poignant. Like many, we have suffered needlessly and insurmountably at the hands of people who practice crime and violence, a disregard for rules and authority; corruption almost everywhere.
