3 Things High-Achievers With Low Libido Are Craving That's Blocking Pleasure (Pt3) 06.08.2026 22นาที95% of men in a recent study admitted to using at least one coercive strategy to get a woman to have sex she did not want or was not consenting to. Asking repeatedly. Using alcohol. Using force. Telling her what she wants to hear, the most used one of all. Your body knows when this is happening to you, even if you do not have the language for it. Even if your therapist cannot pick up on it. She is smarter than that. This is part 3 of the summer series. We talked about slowness. PART 1 LISTEN HERE We talked about letting go. PART 2 LISTEN HERE We talked about being RAVISHED. PART 3 LISTEN HERE Now we are talking about the third thing high-achieving women crave in the bedroom. Not a technique. Not a position. Being ravished. Being chosen to receive pleasure that has nothing to do with your output, your achievement, or your effort. Just because you are. You cannot be ravished by somebody you manage. You cannot be ravished by somebody you parent. If you are tracking his appointments and reminding him what he said he would do, he cannot ravish you. Caregiving puts the brakes on desire. Four conditions for being ravished. A yes and a no that are both free and real. Getting out of the CEO seat. An agenda of nothing but feeling good. And knowing an under-functioner can never ravish an over-functioner. You spent your whole life earning. Now it is time to be ravished. 3 Things High-Achievers With Low Libido Are Craving That's Blocking Pleasure (Pt2) 30.07.2026 26นาทีSlowing down was the first step. Letting go is the next. LISTEN TO EPISODE 1 HERE (Slowness) LISTEN TO EPISODE 2 HERE LISTEN TO EPISODE 3 HERE (Being Ravished) You've spent your entire life in control. In the OR, in the boardroom, with your clients, in your home, in your relationships. Control keeps you competent; it makes you feel useful; it's your identity. And the way we do one thing is the way we do everything, so what shows up in the bedroom clearly mirrors how you handle things outside of it. Here's the thing, though: this isn't really a libido problem. It shows up as a libido problem. Sometimes it shows up as depression or anxiety, weight that can't come off, chronic migraines, heavy periods. Your body is speaking to you. Letting go requires trust, self-trust, trust of the other person, but mostly self-trust. And trust requires safety. Safety is something most high-achieving women have never been given permission to need. We're creating the safety for everyone else, but no one's creating it for us. So what does safety actually sound like? Here's an example of clear communication that makes the nervous system relax: "Tonight is about you. You don't have to do anything. I've got you." That decompresses the nervous system. You're preparing to receive. Pleasure is your birthright. You don't have to earn it. If this is speaking to you, you can book a Pleasure Path Assessment; we'll go through this, see exactly where you're stuck, and you'll get a map for the way forward. Or fill out an application for private coaching; there's one spot left in the next two or three months, so don't sleep on it. -
3 Things High-Achievers With Low Libido Are Craving That's Blocking Pleasure (Pt1) 23.07.2026 20นาทีBook a Pleasure Path assessment and let's find out where you are on this journey. I've worked with thousands of women over the last 11 years in sexual health, women's health, hormones, and what underlies it all is pleasure. I'm decoding the top three things I've found most women are craving more of in the bedroom. Sexless marriages are on the rise. More women are staying single than ever. We don't know how to relate anymore, how to fight, how to fuck, how to repair. If you're the high achiever, the overgiver, the one who thought if she just did more it would finally pay off, this one's for you. Your high achiever identity doesn't stay at work. That same fast, efficient, controlling operating system runs your sex life too, and it's shutting down your pleasure centers. It's not a libido problem. It's a speed problem. This is PART 1 of the 3 things high-achievers with low libido are craving that is blocking pleasure. I'm breaking down why high achievers can't slow down, what's actually killing your desire, and how slowness, real presence without an agenda, is the first act of receiving. Stop People Pleasing & Become a "Turned-On" Woman 16.07.2026 18นาทีIf you have a responsive desire and feel like your turn-on has gone missing under stress, work, and people-pleasing, this one's for you. Superwomen, receivers are turned on. That's the whole secret. When we're in our high-achieving, fix-it, crusty mode, the pleasure centers in our brain are off. But receivers have walked the pleasure path, and we know our super traits and our people-pleasing habits make us successful; they're just not that useful in sex and love. This is your feral girl summer tips episode. Not the bath and massage kind of tips, the real ones. Stop making decisions for how it will look and start making decisions for the fuck yes. Disappear when things feel off, stay when it's delightful. Speak your mind and stop over-explaining. Be turned on when you're turned on instead of playing the same note every day. Take yourself out on your own. Wear the thing that makes you a little uncomfortable. Turning on is part of the work, not an outward job. Ready to stop putting yourself on the back burner? Praise Kink - Why You Can't Receive a Compliment (And What It's Costing You in Bed) 09.07.2026 16นาทีI want to share something a friend sent me. We've known each other for sixteen years now, and she wrote that I would have compliments injected into my veins if I could. I blushed reading it, because that has not always been true for me. There was a version of me that deflected every compliment, minimized it, denied it, said something like "oh, I'm just doing my job." That version had desire, but it came from a need for validation. I always felt like I had to earn it. After 11 years of this work, here is what I know. If you are a high-achiever, if you had emotionally unavailable or abusive parents, one of the fundamental wounds we carry is not knowing how to receive pleasure and joy. We know how to earn, we know how to give until we're empty, but receiving without justifying it feels dangerous, almost greedy. We're addicted to the struggle. And you have to recognize how this shows up in the bedroom, through praise kink, the experience of being aroused by verbal affirmation. For the high-achiever who has spent her life performing for approval, it hits differently. I break down what it sounds like in practice, how to respond to it, why the more good sex a woman has, the more good sex she wants, and a practice I use with clients called feeling love to start building the capacity to actually receive. How People-Pleasing Is Ruining Your Health and Hormones 02.07.2026 27นาทีYou have a very full life, yet a very empty feeling. You're competent. You're reliable. You're the person everyone calls. And somewhere underneath all of the planning, the executing, the managing, the performing, you've lost your spark, your desire, your turn-on. When I sit across from a woman and ask what she does for fun, what turns you on, what she desires, a lot of times she hasn't thought about those things in years. Maybe ever. Ask her about the next quarter in her business, and she's got that down. Planning and controlling, check. Desiring and receiving need some work. Here's what I want you to understand about high-achieving women and control: this is not a character flaw. It is a learned strategy. The exact skills that make us successful in our careers are the ones keeping us from the intimacy and connection we desire. Control is the opposite of intimacy. We cannot manage an experience and be in it simultaneously. The hypervigilant, people-pleasing woman who has learned to read the room and preempt every conflict will generally have a lot of career success. But if we bring that same skill set into our most intimate relationships and into the bedroom, it kills desire. Intimacy requires presence. Pleasure requires actually receiving the good feelings. Connection requires being with what is, without editing it. Understanding the uncertainty conceptually does not automatically make us better at tolerating it. This is a body-based skill. Small, deliberate, repeated doses of tolerating the unknown is a practice, and it is how the nervous system learns that uncertainty is not the same thing as actual danger. 5 Ways to Increase Desire (and Sex Drive) When You Have None 25.06.2026 18นาที2 spots remain for private coaching. Apply HERE I had a call with a private coaching client the other day, and she had no libido. We've been here before. We worked together for years, and she was back at a point with no desire. One thing I had to impress upon her: you do not need to want sex to start wanting sex. That's the part no one is talking to us high-achieving women about, and it keeps us stuck, and it keeps us having less sex. Your desire isn't broken, it's buried. When we are running businesses, managing homes, single parenting, managing everyone else's emotions, our nervous system doesn't have the bandwidth for pleasure. Our pleasure centers are turned off. This isn't a willpower problem. This is a biological reality. I'm sharing 5 ways to increase desire when you have none, the exact things I share with my private clients. Remove the brake before you add the accelerator. Reclaim alone time. Use a 15-minute timer. Feed your brain what it recognizes as desire. Skin-on-skin contact without the expectation of sex. We cannot access desire in a relationship where we do not feel safe, and this is the part that most sex education, intimacy coaching, and therapy skip entirely. Desire is not a light switch. It's a temperature, and we can turn up the heat. Connect with Dr. Jordin: 2 spots remain for summer private coaching. Childhood Sexual Abuse and your Low Libido with Gwen Levey (TRIGGER WARNING) 18.06.2026 43นาทีTRIGGER WARNING Most women who come to me with low libido, disconnection from their bodies, and no desire for intimacy are carrying something they have never said out loud. Childhood sexual assault. Adult assault. A relationship that slowly stripped them of themselves. A body that checked out because it knew something was wrong before their mind would let them admit it. Gwen Levey is a viral Nashville rocker, survivor, and co-founder of the Rise Above Justice Movement. She told her story publicly for the first time at a press conference at the Tennessee State Capitol, and she brings that same honesty here. We talk about minimizing. The way you tell yourself it did not count because it was not what you were taught assault looks like. The way your body disconnects during intimacy and sends you somewhere else entirely. The way healing does not happen in a straight line, and the way brainspotting and therapy can literally repair the part of the brain that trauma damaged. We also get into the Epstein files, child marriage, Roe v. Wade, a justice system that protects perpetrators, and what it means to try to report abuse and be told it is not enough. This is the conversation I wish more people were having. The 3 Conditions Women Need Before Desire Comes Back Online 11.06.2026 20นาทีWhat actually has to exist before initiation means anything, and why most of what we have been taught about desire skips the most important step entirely. The three conditions of safety in a pleasure-centered relationship: physiological safety, clean and continuous consent, and autonomy over your own pleasure. What happens in your nervous system when those conditions are missing? Why do women go numb mid-encounter? Why can a woman orgasm on her own but not with her partner? Why have so many women been faking it for years while their partner genuinely believes everything is great? Why do heterosexual men say they want more sex and then refuse to do a single thing that would actually make their partner want to have sex with them, like stepping up at home, figuring out how to get her off, or making it about her pleasure for once? And why your turn-on is yours before it belongs to anyone else, and always has been. If you are healing from trauma, leaving a coercive relationship, or trying to find your way back to desire, the conditions we talk about here are exactly what we build together. Why High-Achieving Women Feel Lonely in Their Relationships 04.06.2026 17นาทีSomething is missing. You can't quite put your finger on it. You have so much to be grateful for, and yet you feel lonely, undesired, and like you're going through the motions. The sex is a checkbox sex. The texts are efficient, not flirtatious. Nobody's planning dates anymore. And the same fights keep happening on repeat, no matter how hard you try. I'm breaking down one of the biggest reasons high-achieving women feel unfulfilled in their relationships: uncommunicated desires. Not because you're not trying, but because most of us don't actually know what we want, and the ones who do have no idea how to ask for it in a way that creates connection instead of more distance. I talk about the difference between desires and goals, why superwomen go blank when asked what they want, why what works in the boardroom destroys the bedroom, and I share the applesauce story from my own weekend that perfectly illustrates how this plays out in real life. If you're sick of the expectations, the disappointments, the resentment, and sweeping things under the rug until the next time someone trips over it, this one is for you. What to do When Success Feels Like Survival (This Can't Be Normal) 21.05.2026 34นาทีIf you have checked every box, the career, the family, the systems, the health protocols, and you are still waking up exhausted, still carrying the mental load, still the one tracking everything for everyone, this episode is going to name something you have been living but couldn't find the words for. Chanie Wilschanski is a leadership consultant, author, and the woman behind This Can't Be Normal: What to Do When Success Starts to Feel Like Survival. She joins me to talk about the invisible weight high-achieving women carry, the mental load that never turns off, the over-functioning that quietly extracts our vitality, and why all the right solutions keep running out of road. We get into why women with high-achieving personalities and super traits end up as the shock absorbers for every relationship and system in their lives. Why burnout in high-performing women isn't about doing too much, it's about never being restored. What it costs us to keep carrying the mental load: first our time, then our invisible labor, then our health, and finally our aliveness itself. How to stop over-functioning without blowing up your relationships or your business. And the rhythms of return, the pre-decided, mood-proof practices that actually restore you from the inside out. If you are a high-achieving woman who is over-functioning, carrying the mental load, and wondering why success still feels like survival, this one will meet you exactly where you are. Low Libido, Emotional Labor, and Why You're Quiet Quitting Your Marriage 14.05.2026 20นาทีThree clients in two weeks. Same conversation each time. And each time they heard it, it took their breath away. You are overcompensating for a problem that you didn't create. And not only that, it's gonna cost you your sleep, your health, your pleasure. There's an awakening happening right now, and our bodies are not letting us fake it anymore. Not in career, not in the bedroom, not in relationships, not in friendships. And if you are a high-achieving woman who cannot figure out why your pleasure has gone offline, this one is for you. Your low libido is not a defect. Your pelvic pain is not a defect. The recoil, the ick, the quiet dread you feel when you climb into bed at night because you don't want him to want to have intimacy with you, none of this is a malfunction. It's data. Female arousal is context dependent, full stop, and the pleasure centers in your brain go offline when you are dysregulated and managing too much, and you don't feel safe. That is not a character flaw. It is biology. We also get into quiet quitting in relationships, what it actually looks like, why women have been doing it for generations, and why letting go of the rope might be the first real step toward healing. And the question that cuts through all of it: whom are you healing for? 2 spots remain for summer private coaching. Why People Are Choosing AI Over Human Relationships with Andrew Phipps 07.05.2026 45นาทีWe were taught how to avoid pregnancy and how to avoid STDs. That was it. Nobody taught us about pleasure, desire, or what intimacy is actually supposed to feel like. Nobody taught us what coercion looks like inside a long-term relationship, or that consent is something ongoing and not something you say once and forfeit forever. Nobody told us that the clitoris is literally a pleasure organ, the only organ in the human body that exists purely for pleasure, and that we are allowed to treat it that way. Andrew Phipps is the host of The Intimacy Inquiry podcast and a PhD candidate researching the ethics of AI relationships. He spent years in corporate real estate before deciding he wanted to make something his teenage kids could actually learn from. What started as a podcast about intimacy became a deep excavation of power, pleasure, and everything society has deliberately left out of the conversation. We talk about AI companions and whether a relationship with an AI is necessarily worse than a painful or coercive human one. We talk about the freeze response, and why so many women go to their trauma place and let whatever happens happen rather than risk making a situation worse by saying no. We talk about the one percent conviction rate for sexual assault and what that means for who actually holds power What shifts, in relationships, in bodies, in entire lives, when pleasure stops being the last thing on the list and becomes the point? If you have ever endured instead of wanted, performed instead of felt, or given more than you ever received, this episode is going to land. Why You Have No Sex Drive (It's Not What Your Doctor Told You) 30.04.2026 24นาทีYou have been told it is low libido. Maybe HSDD. Maybe perimenopause or a hormone problem. But what if your body is working perfectly? What if it is doing exactly what it is designed to do, and the system is the one that is failing you? This is a reintroduction to The Pleasure Principles and to the work. Over the last decade of helping hundreds of women reconnect to their relationships and heal their sexuality, the same pattern kept showing up. The high achievers, the over-givers, the people pleasers, they would do the work. They would regulate their nervous system, balance their hormones, and eat clean. And then something would happen, and it would all go to hell. Because no one was asking the right questions. Questions like: Do you like the sex you are having? Do you orgasm? What happens in your relationship when you say no? Because if saying no costs you something, that is not a desire disorder. That is coercion. And of course, your body is shutting down. That is exactly what a healthy body does. The desire is not lost. It is in there. Your body is refusing to participate in something that is costing you, something that is pressure, something that gives very little in return. This podcast is expanding. We are not just naming the symptom anymore. We are naming the system. And we are building pleasure-centered lives and relationships inside a world that keeps trying to extract from us. What the Clinical Model Gets Wrong About Women's Desire and Pleasure 23.04.2026 34นาทีMost of us are just surviving. Getting through the day. And we know that is not a condition for great sex, intimacy, and pleasure. Kayla Moore is a licensed marriage and family therapist, certified sex therapist, and feminine liberation coach who left the clinical model for the same reason so many of us hit a wall. The system wasn't built to support humans, and trying to treat anxiety, depression, and intimacy issues inside a structure that extracts and exhausts just wasn't working. In this conversation, Kayla and I talk about what it actually takes to come back to your body, your pleasure, and your rage. We get into why high-achieving women have zero access to their grief, why, if you are not angry right now about what is going on, that's a problem, and what it looks like to alchemize those feelings into something that can actually fuel you. We also go deep on beauty standards, who created them and why, the patriarchal ladder we're all climbing without realizing it, and what it means to finally get off it. Kayla is currently building the Sacred Fire Circle, a space to name what you're feeling, move it through your body, and turn grief and rage into joy and pleasure. Circles are among the most sacred ways people have come together for much of our existence. We've kind of lost that. This is about getting it back. Why Weaponized Incompetence is Decreasing Your Libido 16.04.2026 29นาทีJOIN: HOLD YOUR CENTER: For Women Who Are Done Losing Themselves to Overfunctioning April 29th, 2026 You have asked him to do it 17 times. It is still not done. That is not forgetfulness. That is not ADHD. That is weaponized incompetence, and it is the number one hidden brake on female desire that no one is naming correctly. Weaponized incompetence is when a person performs helplessly in a specific domain so consistently and convincingly that the competent, over-functioning person stops expecting anything from them and permanently absorbs the task. He can't fold laundry, but he can manage a fantasy football team. He's helpless in the kitchen on a Tuesday, but when it comes to coordinating a boys' trip, they eat like kings. That is not a skill deficit. That is a choice. And your body knows. Your brake does not switch off because the children are asleep, and he has indicated interest at 9:35 PM. Resentment is a brake. Carrying the full cognitive load of the household is a brake. Watching somebody be on their phone while you manage a meltdown, pack lunches, and coordinate tomorrow's logistics is a brake. That is not low libido. It is your body accurately responding to its environment. We break down what weaponized incompetence actually is, why couples therapy misses it, how to spot it in your relationship, and why mismatched libidos and desire discrepancy are a power problem, not a communication problem. Your pleasure centers do not care about how much you love him. They respond to felt safety, pleasure-centered equality, and actual partnership. HOLD YOUR CENTER: For Women Who Are Done Losing Themselves to Overfunctioning is a three-hour experience for women who lose themselves to over-functioning. You will identify your patterns, interrupt them in real time, and learn how to hold someone else's discomfort without collapsing or trying to manage it. *If you are a past client, DM for your discount code. The REAL Reason for Low Libido in Relationships (Pt 2) 09.04.2026 21นาทีJOIN: HOLD YOUR CENTER: For Women Who Are Done Losing Themselves to Overfunctioning April 29th, 2026 The same traits that make you exceptional at your career make you exquisitely sensitive to context in sex and relationships. You do not have low desire. You are not inherently bad at relationships. As a high achiever, you are hypervigilant, not high maintenance. Libido is not a fixed biological drive. It is dynamic and context-dependent, shaped by your nervous system, relational context, and psychological safety. That feeling of being unfulfilled is your body signaling that something is out of balance, but treating the wrong problem keeps you stuck. Sexual coercion is any pattern that overrides your ability to freely choose intimacy. It becomes a chronic brake, and pressing the gas while that brake is engaged leads to exhaustion. Safety is a physiological requirement. When you are tracking moods, calculating the cost of your no, or having sex out of obligation, your pleasure centers are off. Your body is doing its job. The question to ask is simple. The last three times you had sex, what was the actual reason that you did? Not the story. The felt reason. Is Your Mismatched Libido Really Why You Have a Sexless Marriage (Pt 1) 02.04.2026 20นาทีSomething very interesting is happening right now. The women I work with are splitting into two camps. One group is more connected than ever, having better sex than ever. The other group is burning it all down, choosing separation, choosing themselves. Women with super traits do not have a lower capacity for desire. We have a higher sensitivity to everything surrounding it. We are exceptional at taking the temperature of the room, managing the emotional climate, and anticipating what is needed before it is asked. These are not weaknesses. They are survival strategies that make us extraordinary in every domain of life except one: erotic experience and intimate relationships. What actually creates desire for a woman with super traits is not lingerie, a scheduled date night, or a glass of wine. It is feeling unseen versus seen. Unsafe versus safe. Carrying everything versus having someone handle something without being asked. His attention landed on her fully. Her own attention finally landed on herself. Attention given fully is foreplay. Safety, desire, turn on. They are all the same thing. This is your map for what is actually working and what to bring to your partner. The Reason Your Needs and Desires Are Not Being Met (Hint: You're Not too Needy) 19.03.2026 24นาทีIf you are honest with yourself, most high-functioning women already know the answer. Needs are the basics, the foundation. But desire is different. It is where intimacy, connection, and pleasure actually live, and it is the first thing to go when you are overfunctioning. This is what I see every day. Women who are successful, capable, and holding everything together, but feel disconnected in their relationships. Not because something is wrong with them, but because they have lost access to their own desires. When you are living in your head, planning, managing, and carrying the emotional load, your body shifts into survival mode. Low libido, lack of arousal, and feeling disconnected are not just hormone issues. They reflect your nervous system and the dynamics in your relationship. Over time, this creates relationships where you are great teammates but not lovers. You ask for less than you need, or stop asking altogether. You default to your partner and lose connection to yourself. There are three patterns driving this. Being cut off from your desires, living in your head instead of your body, and beliefs that keep you overfunctioning while your needs go unmet. From the outside, everything looks fine. On the inside, you feel exhausted and disconnected, unsure why it is so hard to feel fulfilled. If your needs and your desires are not being met, your body already knows. This does not change by trying harder. It changes when you reconnect to your body, your desires, and what allows you to experience intimacy again.
