  Edward Elgar Publishing is delighted to launch a podcast as part of it's 40th anniversary celebrations where we will be hosting in-depth conversations with the authors and editors behind our pioneering publications. In this episode we speak to Professor Peter Boettke of George Mason University. His first book with EEP, The Elgar Companion to Austrian Economics was released in 1994. Since then, Peter has been an author or editor on 12 other titles with us and serves as editor of our New Thinking in Political Economy series which comprises 62 titles to date. Professor Boettke explores his work with EEP over the past thirty plus years.   Edward Elgar Publishing: In Conversation With hosts in-depth conversations with the authors and editors behind our pioneering publications.Today we speak to Christa Sathish, one of the lead advocates for the positive academia movement. Christa is a Lecturer in Management and Marketing at the University of Westminster and her research focuses on organizational culture and change. In 2001, she began her career as a scientist in pharmaceutical research and development, moved into global development as a project coordinator for a United Nations Institute for Training, and worked as an international educator in South India. Her academic education focused on business and management, but she completed her PhD in Media practices. These experiences across science, policy, and education have grounded her focus on organizational culture and change, supporting her understanding of how systems shift not just in theory, but through lived practice. Her research is both theoretical and empirical, but always led by a dedication to ‘doing’. She likes taking time to reflect, write, and turn knowledge into a tangible, meaningful impact.In this episode Christa talks about her route into academia, her passion for the positive academia movement, and the CYGNA group which supports women's empowerment in academia.   Edward Elgar Publishing is delighted to launch a podcast as part of it's 40th anniversary celebrations where we will be hosting in-depth conversations with the authors and editors behind our pioneering publications. In our inaugural episode we speak to renowned economist, Louis-Philippe Rochon who is Full Professor of Economics at Laurentian University in Canada, where he has been teaching since 2004. Before that, he taught at Kalamazoo College, in Michigan. He obtained his doctorate from the New School for Social Research, in 1998, earning him an award for Outstanding Dissertation, for his work on endogenous money and post-Keynesian economics. He is the author of some 225 articles in peer-reviewed journals and books, and has written or edited close to 60 books.Professor Rochon discusses the early days of his career and meeting Edward Elgar, the joy of editing books with great contributors and the process of starting up and editing the Review of Keynesian Economics. We talk about the development of Post-Keynesian economics and its future prospects and discuss content for undergraduates.
