  • Feat Wack 100- Wack 100 Says 6ix9ine “WON AGAIN” in Lil Durk Trial — Then Goes at Doodie Lo & Challenges How Feds Used His 6ix9ine Interview Against Lil Durk , Exposes Suge Knight & Talks Keffe Dee Conviction 14.09.2026 39dk
Wack 100 calls Loon and pushes back after his viral conversation with 6ix9ine becomes part of the evidence discussed in Lil Durk’s federal trial. Wack says the original interview has been misunderstood. According to Wack, he was questioning 6ix9ine about Tekashi’s own street claims and why he did not retaliate against the people he said kidnapped and robbed him. Wack says 6ix9ine then redirected the conversation toward Lil Durk and the now-infamous “Slide for Von” narrative. During the call, Wack makes it clear that the interview belongs to him and argues that nothing in the actual exchange substantiates claims about Lil Durk ordering or participating in anything. The larger debate is whether prosecutors and cooperating witnesses are using the viral 6ix9ine moment to establish that public pressure surrounding King Von’s death affected Durk. Wack 100 and Loon break down what was actually said, how the conversation changed direction and why that interview now matters inside one of hip-hop’s biggest federal trials. • Feat Peewee Roscoe - PeeWee Roscoe EXPOSES What He REALLY Thinks About Drew Findling ’$1B Lawyer” In Lil Durk Trial 12.09.2026 38dk
Peewee Roscoe calls into Loon’s Internal Affairs and delivers a blunt assessment of Drew Findling during Lil Durk’s federal trial. Roscoe challenges Findling’s “billion-dollar lawyer” reputation and asks where the major murder-case victories are behind the high-profile image. While discussing Lil Durk’s legal team, Roscoe argues that celebrity clients, relationships with rappers and strong marketing do not automatically prove someone is the right lawyer for a case with stakes this high. Roscoe also reveals that he personally knows Drew Findling and says Findling previously attempted to represent him, giving additional context to why his criticism goes beyond what he has seen online. The conversation comes as Lil Durk continues fighting his federal case with Drew Findling and Brian Steel leading key parts of the defense. Do you think Peewee Roscoe is exposing a real gap between Drew Findling’s reputation and his courtroom résumé, or is he underestimating Durk’s legal team? • Loon Breaks Down How Lil Durk Could Face Life Even Without a Murder-for-Hire Conviction 11.09.2026 1sa 32dk
Loon breaks down a part of Lil Durk’s federal case that could be easy to overlook: beating the murder-for-hire theory may not automatically remove the possibility of a life sentence. During the conversation, Loon examines the stalking-resulting-in-death count and why the alleged connection between Durk, the vehicles, the people involved and the underlying conduct could become critically important. The bigger question becomes whether Durk’s defense can break the legal bridge prosecutors are attempting to establish between him and the alleged stalking operation. Loon also explains why simply focusing on whether Durk personally committed a murder can miss the larger legal issue being argued in federal court. This conversation is commentary and analysis of the ongoing Lil Durk federal trial. Lil Durk has denied involvement in the alleged murder-for-hire scheme. • Loon SNAPS as Lil Durk Trial TURNS Into CONTENT, Why India SNUBBED Doodie Lo, OTF JAM & Media ABSENT 10.09.2026 2sa 41dk
On this episode of Internal Affairs, Loon goes deep on the Lil Durk trial: Kanye West, India Royale and Doodie Lo, Trap Lore Ross, OTF Jam, Drew Findling, Brian Steel and Zül-Qarnain. The conversation goes far beyond what happened inside the courtroom. Loon examines the spectacle surrounding Lil Durk’s federal trial and questions whether some of the people showing support outside are actually helping Durk—or turning one of the most serious moments of his life into content. Zül-Qarnain joins the show after attending the trial at the request of Durk’s father, Dontay “Big Durk” Banks. He explains what he saw inside and outside the courthouse, his encounter with Trap Lore Ross, why misinformation surrounding the case became a concern, and what Durk’s family is dealing with as the trial unfolds. Loon also breaks down what Kanye West showing up at the courthouse communicated to the public, his interpretation of the viral India Royale and Doodie Lo moment, and why the lack of sustained major-media attention surrounding such a high-profile federal trial matters. The episode also digs into the legal battle itself: OTF Jam’s testimony, the defense strategy surrounding OTF Vonni, Brian Steel’s courtroom tactics, questions around Drew Findling’s public media appearances, and the debate over whether Lil Durk should ever take the stand. Beyond the headlines, Internal Affairs asks a larger question: when somebody from the culture is fighting for his life, what does useful support actually look like? Lil Durk has pleaded not guilty. The charges and allegations discussed in this episode remain allegations unless established in court. Subscribe to Internal Affairs for long-form conversations about culture, media, accountability, business and the issues happening inside our community. #LilDurk #LilDurkTrial #InternalAffairs DISCLAIMER: Lil Durk and all co-defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. • Loon Gets LIVE Call From Federal Inmate With Lil Durk, Calls Out Akademiks & EXPOSES Slide 4 Von! 31.08.2026 1sa 34dk
Loon gets a live call from a federal inmate incarcerated with Lil Durk as they break down Durk’s trial, King Von, Akademiks, 6ix9ine, OTF witnesses, Tupac, Keffe D, Pooh Shiesty and more. INTERNAL AFFAIRS begins with access you rarely hear in hip-hop media: Loon gets a live call from a federal inmate incarcerated with Lil Durk while Durk is fighting for his freedom in one of the biggest federal rap trials in the country. Loon and his caller go inside the questions surrounding Durk’s case, the people around him, cooperating witnesses and whether Durk may ultimately have to take the stand and tell his own story. But Loon’s argument about Lil Durk goes deeper than the case. Everyone has spent years saying the internet “tricked” Durk with “Slide for Von.” Loon argues that explanation misses the emotional reality of what King Von represented to Durk. In Loon’s view, the internet did not create the pain — but social media, trolling and hip-hop media helped keep pouring pressure onto something that was already real. That brings the conversation directly to DJ Akademiks and 6ix9ine. Loon questions why Durk continued doing business and interviews inside a media ecosystem that repeatedly amplified 6ix9ine’s taunts about King Von, Quando Rondo and “Slide for Von.” That history has become even more relevant during Durk’s trial. A federal judge has ruled that jurors may see an excerpt from a 2021 episode of Akademiks’ Off the Record featuring 6ix9ine and Wack 100, where 6ix9ine mocked Durk over retaliation for King Von. Prosecutors say the clip helps show the public pressure surrounding revenge; Durk’s lawyers disputed that Durk had ever seen the interview. And the trial is no longer approaching — it is underway. Opening statements began August 24, 2026. Prosecutors allege Durk orchestrated a murder-for-hire retaliation plot targeting Quando Rondo after King Von’s death. Durk’s defense says he is being falsely portrayed as the architect of the shooting and points toward former assistant Kavon Grant. Durk has pleaded not guilty. Loon also gets into Trap Lore Ross, rap true-crime media and what happens when creators who have built content around alleged murders and street histories are sitting inside the courtroom while those same stories are being litigated for real. Then INTERNAL AFFAIRS moves from Chicago to another historic case happening right now: Tupac Shakur. Loon breaks down the Keffe D trial, Mob James, decades of interviews and the danger of turning old street stories into entertainment. Keffe D’s prior statements are now central evidence in his Tupac murder trial. Prosecutors are using statements he made to police, in interviews and in his memoir, while his defense argues that many of those accounts were exaggerated or fabricated for publicity and money. For Loon, that becomes a larger conversation about gang culture, aging, loyalty, internal betrayal and what people actually have left after decades of living off old reputations. The episode then turns to Pooh Shiesty, Gucci Mane and NBA YoungBoy. Loon discusses Pooh Shiesty’s authenticity, his relationship with Gucci, why audiences respond differently when they truly believe an artist’s story, and why Loon believes Pooh Shiesty represents something different from what many fans project onto NBA YoungBoy. This is INTERNAL AFFAIRS. The conversations happening inside our culture, examined from inside the culture. Hosted by Loon. • Dr. Umar Gets Suspicious About Michael Jackson’s Death, Warns Drake & Questions Jay-Z - Full Ep 24.08.2026 1sa 17dk
Dr. Umar Johnson sits down with Loon for an explosive conversation on Michael Jackson, Drake’s UMG battle, Jay-Z, Netflix, Floyd Mayweather, Farrakhan, Black leadership and more. Dr. Umar Johnson returns to It’s Up There with Loon for a wide-ranging conversation that quickly moves into Michael Jackson, Drake, Jay-Z, the music industry, Black leadership, money, power and what happens when major Black figures collide with powerful institutions. Loon presses Dr. Umar on Michael Jackson following Netflix’s Michael Jackson: The Verdict, leading to a deeper debate about Jackson’s 2005 acquittal, the accusations that followed him, Sony, his legacy, his cultural impact and whether the public has ever been given the full Michael Jackson story. The conversation then takes an unexpected turn toward Drake. With Drake currently battling Universal Music Group through his ongoing appeal and using Michael Jackson-inspired glove imagery for Iceman, Loon asks whether Drake could be signaling something deeper about his own position in the music business. Dr. Umar responds with a serious warning about fame, power, ownership and what artists should do when major conflicts begin happening behind closed doors. Drake’s appeal against UMG remains active in 2026, while his Iceman artwork has publicly drawn comparisons to Michael Jackson’s famous glove. Dr. Umar and Loon also get into Jay-Z, Kanye West, Dame Dash and what may happen behind the scenes when artists become powerful enough to challenge the structures around them. Umar discusses why he believes major public figures should be more open about the battles they face instead of allowing the public to discover the story afterward. But the episode goes far beyond music. Loon and Dr. Umar debate Floyd Mayweather and wealth, 50 Cent, Michael Eric Dyson, Cornel West, FBA and the Freedmen debate, reparations, Marcus Garvey and the Black Star Line, Minister Louis Farrakhan, Muammar Gaddafi, Black nationalism, the assassination era of Black leadership and Umar’s continuing plans for FDMG Academy. This is another unfiltered conversation between Dr. Umar Johnson and Loon about culture, history, celebrity, power and the future of Black America. Subscribe to It’s Up There with Loon for more long-form conversations, cultural commentary and interviews. It’s Up There with Loon — conversations that go where everybody else stops. • Feat Wack 100 | Part 1| “No Jumper Is Being Watched by the Feds” _ Young Thug, Big Bank & Tekashi 6ix9ine -Full Ep 10.08.2026 1sa 15dk
Wack 100 returns to It’s Up There as the Big U federal case and alleged Future LAX story put his name back in hip-hop headlines. Loon presses Wack on Young Thug, No Jumper, Boosie and VladTV. This episode arrives as new federal charges against Big U revive online debate around Wack 100’s old account involving Future and LAX. Wack has since rejected the most sensational version of the story, saying there was a conversation but no airport assault, while Future’s camp has continued to deny the allegations. Wack is not charged in the Big U case. That developing story is current context—not a segment falsely added to this interview—but it places Wack’s larger warnings about street politics, public claims, recorded conversations and federal investigations under a completely new spotlight. Wack and Loon begin by breaking down why the old street playbook has become obsolete. Wack discusses whether No Jumper and other street-focused media platforms can attract law-enforcement scrutiny, why statements made during interviews may later appear in criminal cases. The conversation moves through the MacArthur Park federal drug operation. The temperature changes when Wack and Loon reach 6ix9ine, Big Bank and Young Thug. Wack argues that Young Thug said too much during the interrogation connected to the 2015 shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus. Loon agrees Thug should have said less but refuses to call it snitching without proof that he incriminated someone, helped build a case or provided information that harmed another person. Loon challenges the way hip-hop media reacted when the footage first circulated compared with the campaign that developed after it resurfaced. The debate becomes personal as Loon explains why he previously stopped Charleston White from using his platform to attack Young Thug and why his relationship with Thug will not allow him to entertain a dishonest narrative for clicks. Wack and Loon debate the difference between talking too much, trying to finesse detectives, showing a willingness to cooperate and actually cooperating. The episode then turns to the Boosie Badazz and DJ Vlad fallout. Was Boosie justified in demanding more after years of high-performing VladTV interviews? Wack and Loon examine the reported interview-fee dispute, 6ix9ine’s role in the argument, Vlad’s “franchise player” response and the deal Boosie could have negotiated. This is more than another Wack 100 interview. Wack and Loon confront questions involving Young Thug, federal investigations, media manipulation, loyalty, street codes, business ownership and what happens when private conversations become public content. The arguments inside this interview now land while Wack’s name is once again connected to a much larger online conversation involving Big U, Future, federal court filings and the relationship between street culture and hip-hop media. • Loon FINALLY EXPOSES the REAL REASON NBA YoungBoy DISSED Future! & What Shocked Fans - Full Episode 03.08.2026 48dk
Loon finally explains why NBA YoungBoy suddenly went at Future and breaks down what he believes is missing from Future’s new album, The Real Me. NBA YoungBoy’s problem with Future appeared publicly during The Real Me rollout—but the posts, apology, diss record and responses still left one major question unanswered: what actually caused YoungBoy to turn on Future? Loon walks through the complete timeline before sharing the behind-the-scenes context he has been hearing around the industry. He separates what has been publicly established from his own interpretation and explains why this situation may involve more than the messages and diss records people saw online. Loon also gives his honest assessment of Future’s The Real Me. Future presented the project without billed guest features, but Loon believes the conversation should go deeper than whether Future can carry an album alone. He examines what feels different about the music, what may be missing from Future’s established formula and why the people traditionally surrounding an artist can affect far more than the final tracklist. This conversation includes: • Why NBA YoungBoy suddenly went at Future • YoungBoy attacking Future during The Real Me rollout • YoungBoy’s conversation and apology with Offset • Why YoungBoy returned to the situation afterward • The “What Da What” diss record • Doe Boy and Future’s people entering the conversation • What Loon says he has been hearing behind the scenes • The difference between confirmed information and industry speculation • Loon’s full assessment of Future’s The Real Me • What Loon believes is missing from the new album • Why Young Scooter’s absence matters to Future’s musical environment • Casino’s role and Future’s connection to the streets • Future releasing a project without billed guest features • The artists and relationships listeners expected to hear • Whether Future has become too isolated • Why Atlanta’s greatest musical strength has always been collaboration • The larger business problem facing Southern hip-hop • Why Future refusing to publicly respond may protect him • Whether YoungBoy’s actions helped or damaged Future’s rollout Loon is not presenting private allegations as confirmed facts. He is explaining what he has heard, what he observed publicly and how he personally interprets the situation. After watching the full breakdown, answer both questions: Why do you believe NBA YoungBoy went at Future? What do you believe The Real Me was missing? • Dr. Umar Goes Off On Jay-Z’s Latest Moves, Shannon Sharpe Rumors, Kai Cenat, Cheyenne Bryant & More 27.07.2026 1sa 5dk
Dr. Umar Johnson returns For part 3 of his Legendary conversation on Its Up There with Loon and goes off on Jay-Z’s latest moves, Shannon Sharpe rumors, Kai Cenat’s Streamer University, Cheyenne Bryant’s doctor-title controversy, Caleb Williams’ Madden cover, Kevin Hart’s roast backlash and the larger responsibility that comes with Black celebrity power. This episode is not another Kevin Hart roast conversation. The new front door is Jay-Z, Shannon Sharpe and the question that keeps coming back throughout the episode: What do powerful Black people owe the culture once their platform becomes bigger than their feelings? Loon challenges Jay-Z’s recent public moves and argues that when someone with Jay-Z’s cultural power steps outside, the people expect more than emotion. Loon says Jay-Z’s voice is too rare and too powerful for him to speak without giving the culture game, direction or marching orders. Dr. Umar pushes back. Umar defends Jay-Z’s right to be human and says powerful Black people should not be denied the right to speak from their pain, their personal moment or their own perspective. The debate becomes bigger than Jay-Z. It becomes a question of whether Black leaders, billionaires and celebrities still get to have feelings once the culture expects them to represent something larger. From there, Dr. Umar responds to the Shannon Sharpe rumors and allegations being discussed online. Umar does not treat rumors as established fact. Instead, he focuses on privacy, betrayal and whether people should weaponize someone’s personal life when relationships, friendships or business fall apart. The episode also covers Kai Cenat’s Streamer University and the chaos surrounding it. Loon asks why Black youth run toward streaming, influencer culture and social media fame with more excitement than real school, Black history and academic excellence. Umar says the Black community has made attention, luxury and fame more attractive than education—and offers to teach Black history or Black consciousness if Kai Cenat’s platform is serious about reaching young people. The conversation then turns to Cheyenne Bryant’s doctor-title controversy. Dr. Umar explains how hard he worked to earn his doctorate, why credentials matter when someone is serving clients, and why he refuses to join selective outrage against one person while ignoring others who use titles loosely. Loon and Dr. Umar also discuss Caleb Williams’ Madden cover, public image, athlete responsibility and what famous Black men should consider when young boys are watching them. Kevin Hart’s Netflix roast and Sheryl Underwood are still discussed, but this episode is not led by that conversation. This is a full cultural audit of Jay-Z, Shannon Sharpe, Kai Cenat, Cheyenne Bryant, Caleb Williams, Kevin Hart and the pressure that comes with public Black influence. The bigger question is simple: What do powerful Black people owe the culture once their platform becomes bigger than their feelings? Watch the full episode now on It’s Up There. • Loon Finally Responds To Akademiks, Says Charlamagne Exposed Him As A Studio Gangster - Full Ep 23.07.2026 1sa 25dk
Akademiks got exposed outside the stream. Loon breaks down Charlamagne’s sit-down with Ak, Drake’s influence, the Complex list, Grand Wizard and what Akademiks has really built.Join Akademiks got exposed outside the stream — and Loon finally responds. In this solo episode of It’s Up There, Loon breaks down the viral Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Akademiks sit-down, the history between Loon and Akademiks, and why Loon believes the interview exposed the difference between streaming power and real table work. Loon explains why Akademiks talked like he was going to run circles around Charlamagne, but ended up on defense once he had to sit across from someone who would not accept his premises. Loon says the stream, the chat and the screen can make a person feel bigger than they are — but a real conversation requires technique, timing and foundation. The episode also gets into Akademiks repeatedly saying Loon’s name, the Brilliant Idiots history, Charlamagne doing Loon’s show while Akademiks wanted that sit-down for years, and the larger fight over hip-hop media’s top spot. Loon then breaks down Drake, the OVO chain, the Stake shirt, Roc Nation accusations, Jay-Z, Grand Wizard, Akademiks TV, Complex’s Hip-Hop Media Power Ranking, and why he says Akademiks is captured — not controlled. This is not just a response to Akademiks. This is Loon breaking down hip-hop media, streaming culture, access, ownership, attention, infrastructure and what it really means to build something in the culture. Editorial note: This episode contains commentary and opinion from Loon. Claims about public figures, media platforms, alleged bias, lawsuits, business relationships and disputed online narratives are attributed to the speaker and should be understood in that context. & Treated As Entertainment 00:00 Loon Opens On Akademiks & Charlamagne 02:30 Why Akademiks Wanted The Charlamagne Sit-Down 05:00 Ak Saying He Would Run Circles Around Charlamagne 08:00 Loon Explains His History With Akademiks 11:00 Brilliant Idiots, Charlamagne & The Old Loon Conversation 14:00 Why Loon Did Not Rush To Respond 17:00 Akademiks Saying Loon’s Name 20:00 The Difference Between Streaming And Sitting At The Table 24:00 Charlamagne Exposes Ak’s Weakness 28:00 Loon Says Ak Was On Defense 32:00 Ak Scoring The Interview 9-3 36:00 Ak Trying To Skew The Audience 40:00 Drake Chain, Stake Shirt & Brand Loyalty 45:00 Loon Says Ak Is Captured, Not Controlled 50:00 Admiration Makes Men Volunteer 55:00 Drake, Roc Nation, Jay-Z & The Media War 1:00:00 Why Ak Thinks Everybody Else Is Compromised 1:05:00 What Has Akademiks Really Built? 1:10:00 Complex Ranking Ak No. 1 1:15:00 Attention vs Institution 1:20:00 Loon Says Ak Is A Highway, Not A Destination #Loon #BigLoon #ItsUpThere #Akademiks #DJAkademiks #Charlamagne #CharlamagneThaGod #Drake #OVO #Stake #JayZ #RocNation #Complex #HipHopMedia #BrilliantIdiots #JoeBudden #GrandWizard Our Its Up There Podcast Clip Channel now https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEh6Wk40kcNcMJ4t_jtmluw Discord https://discord.gg/GJKXMWQS For all exclusive interviews & more content not here click here https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast 🚨Unreleased Interviews https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast 🦺All Merch Options teespring.com/its-up-there-podcast-merch 🎧LISTEN ON SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Jheeb8FxYVDRo8khyrz36?si=e339dD2JRte2MYX2Uon3BQ 👀 SUBSCRIBE HERE:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_GorAVekpEVDlk1Yc8giw 👂 LISTEN ON APPLE PODCASTS: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/its-up-there-podcast/id1317524092?uo=4 👣FOLLOW ITS UP THERE PODCAST HOST : INSTAGRAM | fogfo_looney TIKTOK | https://www.tiktok.com/@fogfo_looney PATREON| https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast SUBSCRIBE TO Youtube Channel ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_GorAVekpEVDlk1Yc8giw WATCH MORE ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwNIuOcAtoo&list=PLnwwxLxHiDWayq4HPgNYUtsAGvqe3liOOSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
  • Boomman Says "Pooh Shiesty USED Gucci Mane, Foogiano Abandonment, Ray Daniels & SCAMS - Full EP 20.07.2026 1sa 23dk
Boomman steps into Loon’s hot seat for a tense Part 1—and nothing is off limits. Scammer claims, Ray Daniels, Money Mu’s contract, Foogiano in prison, Gucci Mane and Pooh Shiesty all collide. Authentic Empire CEO Boomman sits across from Loon for one of the most confrontational conversations ever released on It’s Up There. After weeks of public scrutiny surrounding his business practices, artist relationships and the accusations attached to the Authentic Empire name, Boomman finally gets the opportunity to explain his side—but Loon refuses to let him hide behind broad answers. Boomman responds to Ray Daniels framing him as someone who sells dreams to independent artists and claims Ray has made hundreds of thousands of dollars from discussing his name. Loon then presses Boomman on the difference between ownership and control, whether his artist agreements were fair, and why so many former artists have publicly expressed frustration. The conversation gets even more intense when they address: Money Mu’s relationship with Authentic Empire Who controls the “Hittin” record Boomman’s alleged $500,000 investment The $80,000 Lil Durk feature Gross-receipt deals and artist recoupment Paid music reviews, consultations and showcases Whether IndieFest was opportunity or an expensive dream Gucci Mane’s relationship with Pooh Shiesty Why artists become disloyal after achieving success Whether Boomman supported Foogiano during his incarceration The possibility of Foogiano eventually wanting out of their business relationship Boomman argues that he invested real money, created opportunities artists could not create for themselves and operated according to the agreements everyone signed. Loon challenges whether “industry standard” automatically means fair—and whether calling something business can erase the emotional expectations created when artists are told they are family. This is only Part 1. Part 2 begins with Euro Gotit and goes even deeper into the accusations surrounding Authentic Empire. • Loon EXPOSES The UGLY Reason Pooh Shiesty Recorded Gucci Mane Robbery Why Gucci Is Being Humiliated 13.07.2026 1sa 14dk
Loon breaks down the Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane situation after the alleged robbery video surfaced — and explains why Pooh Shiesty may have recorded the moment in the first place. In this full episode, Loon unpacks the federal case, the 1017 contract dispute, the alleged Gucci Mane robbery video, and the deeper cultural meaning behind why this situation became so public. Loon explains why Pooh Shiesty may have believed Gucci Mane’s street image would keep him silent, why recording the moment may have changed the entire case, and why Gucci Mane’s gangster image is now being tested in front of the world. This conversation goes beyond rap news. Loon connects the Pooh Shiesty and Gucci Mane case to street image, ego, federal court, contracts, public humiliation, the Jeezy Verzuz moment, and the price artists pay when the image they used to win becomes the image they cannot escape. Watch the full episode as Loon breaks down why Pooh Shiesty recorded Gucci Mane, why the video matters, why Gucci’s image is being stripped, and what this situation says about rap culture, street rules, and the difference between force and finesse. He reacts to the verdict, the 35-year sentence, the no-Black-juror issue, the self-defense argument, Austin Metcalf’s father, the defense team, the witness situation, and the larger question of whether Black children are allowed to defend themselves in America. Loon presses Dr. Umar on the questions people are arguing about right now: Was 35 years justice? Did Karmelo Anthony get a fair trial? Was “touch me and see what happens” a threat or a warning? Would Dr. Umar defend a white teen if the roles were reversed? Did Austin Metcalf’s dad go too far after the verdict? And what should Karmelo’s family do next with the appeal? Dr. Umar also speaks on multiculturalism, Black first, Jake Lang outside the courthouse, the father’s viral rant, Eddie Parra, the defense team, legal execution, jury selection, and why he believes this case exposed a deeper double standard in America. Editorial note: This episode contains commentary and allegations stated by the speakers. Claims about disputed facts, legal strategy, jury selection, race, and individuals involved in the case are attributed to the speakers and should be understood as commentary.  00:00 Dr. Umar Johnson Returns To It’s Up There 01:25 The Pan-African Fast And Spiritual Discipline 03:05 Numerology, Destiny And Alignment 04:35 Why Wealth Comes With Black Responsibility 06:10 Michael Jackson, Money And Philanthropy 07:40 Repentance, Forgiveness And Arrogance 09:15 Loon Brings Up The Karmelo Anthony Case 10:25 Dr. Umar Reacts To The Verdict 11:55 Why Umar Says This Case Is Bigger Than Court 13:25 The Original Crime In America Is Being Black 14:55 Karmelo Anthony, Austin Metcalf And Race In America 16:30 Zimmerman, Rittenhouse, Daniel Penny And Rick Chow Comparisons 18:20 Stand Your Ground And Black Self-Defense 20:00 Could Karmelo Anthony Get A Fair Trial? 21:25 No Black Jurors In The Trial 22:45 Dr. Umar Says Multiculturalism Died 24:15 35 Years For Karmelo Anthony 25:35 Was Murder The Right Charge? 27:00 The Grand Jury Question 28:20 Karmelo Anthony Being Tried As An Adult 29:45 The Caysen Allison Comparison 31:10 Loon Asks The Role-Reversal Question 32:40 Would Umar Defend A White Teen? 34:05 Threat Or Warning? 35:25 The Self-Defense Argument 37:00 Dr. Umar Questions The Defense Team 38:30 The Private Investigator Question 39:55 Why Umar Says The Trial Was An Inside Job 41:40 The Appeal And What Comes Next 43:05 Eddie Parra And The Judas Witness Claim 44:35 Dr. Umar Warns Karmelo About Prison Calls 46:05 Austin Metcalf’s Dad Goes Viral 47:25 Dr. Umar Reacts To Jeff Metcalf’s Rant 49:00 The Victim Impact Moment 50:35 Conditioning Is Stronger Than Intelligence 52:10 Trump And Public Racism 53:45 Where Were The Other Groups For Karmelo? 55:15 Black First 56:45 Jake Lang Outside The Courthouse 58:15 Final Thoughts On Karmelo Anthony, Austin Metcalf And Justice. #DrUmarJohnson #KarmeloAnthony #AustinMetcalf #JeffMetcalf #ItsUpThere #BigLoon #loon Dr. Umar says the Karmelo Anthony case is bigger than one courtroom. • Loon FInally EXPOSES the SHOCKING MISTAKE Jay-Z Made At Roots Picnic Freestyle! 15.06.2026 1sa 4dk
Jay-Z came outside at Roots Picnic, and everybody immediately started arguing about the obvious stuff. Who was he dissing? Was it Drake? Was it Nicki? Was it Kanye? Was it Dame Dash? Was the freestyle hard or was it “mid”? But Loon says the real play is underneath all of that. In this solo episode of It’s Up There, Loon breaks down the part of Jay-Z’s freestyle that most people missed — why Drake may have the internet, the fan base, the streamers, and the narrative machine on his side, but Jay-Z may be trying to pull him into a completely different kind of fight. And that is where it gets dangerous. Because Loon also believes Jay-Z made one mistake that gave the internet exactly what it needed to flip the conversation before the bars could even breathe. This episode gets into Jay-Z’s Roots Picnic freestyle, Drake’s narrative advantage, Akademiks’ reaction, Dame Dash, Nicki Minaj, Kanye, the “too old” conversation, and why hip-hop media is no longer just reacting to rap beef — it is helping shape it. Then Loon gets into the Diddy and Daphne Joy tape fallout, 50 Cent’s response, industry relationships, public embarrassment, co-parenting, and what happens when private choices become public content. This is not a reaction. This is the play behind the play. 00:00 Loon Returns 00:42 The Algorithm Is Forcing A Schedule 02:15 Hip-Hop Media Is In A Strange Place 03:18 You Buy The Game With Your Attention 04:02 Jay-Z Steps Back Outside 05:19 The Narrative Was Already Moving 06:31 Jay-Z’s Roots Picnic Freestyle 09:55 Loon Reacts To The Freestyle 10:41 What Everybody Missed About Jay-Z And Drake 12:22 Rap Beef Is Bigger Than Bars Now 13:10 The “Mid” Narrative 14:15 The Mistake Loon Thinks Jay-Z Made 15:29 Why Jay-Z Can’t Tiptoe Around Certain Conversations 16:17 The Age Narrative Around Hov 18:17 Akademiks’ Jay-Z Take 19:14 The Machine Comes For Jay-Z 20:00 Why Even Jay-Z Hears The Noise 22:05 When Narratives Start Growing Legs 24:11 Nicki, Kanye, Drake And Fan Base Power 25:04 Hip-Hop’s Problem With Aging 26:24 Why Artists Can’t Just Drop Music Anymore 27:21 The Commander-In-Chief Metaphor 28:14 Akademiks Breaks Down Jay-Z 30:21 How Stats Get Used Against Artists 31:33 The Media Tricks Loon Caught 33:17 Should Drake, Nicki Or Kanye Respond? 34:18 Is Hip-Hop Trying To Age Jay-Z Out? 36:11 Why The Narrative Is Sticking 36:58 Did Jay-Z Spread Enough Money Around? 38:11 The Real Drake Setup 39:01 Drake’s Creative Armor 40:13 The Place Jay-Z May Be Trying To Pull Drake 41:15 Why Jay-Z Really Came Outside 42:00 Hip-Hop Legends Are Not Trespassing 43:20 Artists And Media Need Each Other 44:12 Jay-Z, T.I. • YKNiece Says Pluto Switched When She Got Love, Talks Cardi B, Belly Gang Kush, Glorilla, Metro Boomin & Surgery - Pt 1 08.06.2026 59dk
YK Niece says Whim Whamiee broke apart when she started getting love. She talks Pluto, Cardi B, Belly Gang Kush, Glorilla, Metro Boomin, Rob49, body-shaming, her first album & more. YKNiece sits down with Loon on It’s Up There for her first real long-form conversation, opening up about the WHIM WHAMIEE rise that changed her life, the emotional reality behind the fame, and the moments fans never got to fully understand. In Part 1, YK Niece talks about crying After a Cardi B moment, almost rearranging her whole night just to make the State Farm Arena appearance, and why that moment meant so much to her. She also breaks down the story behind Whim Whamiee, Friend Do Remix , Innit & how the record came together with Pluto, why she says it was never supposed to be a group situation, and what happened when the energy shifted after the song exploded. Loon also asks YKNiece about the Belly Gang Kush dating rumors, her organic fan base, Atlanta rallying behind her, Metro Boomin calling her for “Take Me Thru Dere,” Rob49 blessing her album, and why she refuses to let the industry change her. She talks about confidence, being body-shamed, reading comments, staying true to herself, and why fans love her because she still feels like a regular Black girl from the city. This conversation is bigger than a WHIM WHAMMIE song. It’s about a young woman stepping into fame in real time, learning the business, protecting her spirit, and showing the world that YK Niece is not just a moment — she is building a career. Part 2 is available now on Patreon. YK Niece gets emotional about Cardi B, explains the Whim Whamiee fallout with Pluto, responds to Belly Gang Kush dating rumors, talks Metro Boomin, Rob49, fame, confidence & staying herself. 00:00 YK Niece Pulls Up To It’s Up There 01:20 Life Changing After Whim Whamiee 02:52 Crying After The Cardi B Moment 04:31 Almost Getting A Jet To Make Cardi B’s Show 06:05 The State Farm Arena Night With Belly Gang Kush 07:42 Fly Guy DC Helping Make It Happen 09:08 Why She Wanted To Pop Out For The Home Team 10:31 Making It From Cardi B To Texas 12:02 How “In It” Proved She Could Rap 13:39 Atlanta Rallying Around YK Niece 15:13 Metro Boomin Calling Her For “Take Me Thru Dere” 16:55 How Whim Whamiee Was Created 18:42 Friends In The Studio Before The Fallout 20:14 Why Whim Whamiee Was Never A Group 21:48 When The Love Started Changing Things 23:21 The Pluto Fallout 24:58 Losing Friendships Before Fame 26:30 Why YK Niece Says She’s A Real Friend 28:05 Building Organic Love Without Paying Blogs 29:38 Why Fans Love Her Regular Style 31:11 Body-Shaming, Ugly Comments & Confidence 33:04 Why The Industry Won’t Change Her 34:49 Belly Gang Kush Dating Rumors 36:30 YK Niece Reveals Her First Album Is Finished 38:03 What Does YK Stand For? 39:28 Rob49 Blessing The Album 41:02 Would YK Niece Go Back To Work If Rap Failed? 42:45 Being A Regular Black Girl In Rap 44:22 Growing Up In Church & Sunday Dinners 46:02 Her Father Getting Shot Before A Show 48:01 Still Performing For The Fans 49:48 Baddies, Zeus & Reality TV 51:40 Tyler Perry, Acting & Being Made For TV 53:35 Love, Kids & Protecting Her Peace Join Our Its Up There Clip Channel now https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEh6Wk40kcNcMJ4t_jtmluw Discord https://discord.gg/GJKXMWQS For all exclusive interviews & more content not here click here https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast 🚨Unreleased Interviews https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcas 🎧LISTEN ON SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Jheeb8FxYVDRo8khyrz36?si=e339dD2JRte2MYX2Uon3BQ 👀 SUBSCRIBE HERE:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_GorAVekpEVDlk1Yc8giw 👣FOLLOW ITS UP THERE HOST : INSTAGRAM | fogfo_looney TIKTOK | https://www.tiktok.com/@fogfo_looney PATREON| https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast SUBSCRIBE TO Youtube Channel ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_GorAVekpEVDlk1Yc8giw WATCH MORE ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwNIuOcAtoo&list=PLnwwxLxHiDWayq4HPgNYUtsAGvqe3liOOSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
  • Loon FINALLY EXPOSES the REAL REASON Floyd Mayweather LOST 175 Million! - Full Episode 01.06.2026 1sa 8dk
Joe Budden put Drake’s ICEMAN review behind Patreon, Future responded after Loon’s Drake/Future commentary, Floyd Mayweather sued over $175M, and Breakfast Club is heading to Netflix. Joe Budden put the biggest Drake conversation behind Patreon. Fans wanted the ICEMAN breakdown, but the JBP review was locked behind membership while the internet debated whether Joe was making the audience pay for the moment. At the same time, Future publicly backed Drake after Loon called out the quiet Drake/Future reunion rollout, posting that he and ICEMAN were “back by popular demand.” On this episode of It’s Up There Podcast, Loon breaks down the real story underneath the headlines: the culture is moving from free attention into paid rooms. Joe Budden’s Drake coverage became the perfect example. Loon explains why there is nothing wrong with creators monetizing loyal fans — but there is a difference between building a paid community and punishing discovery. When the biggest public conversation disappears behind a wall, the audience starts to feel like the moment was taken from them. Then Loon revisits his Drake/Future commentary. After saying Drake and Future did not give the culture enough around their reunion, Future publicly showed love to Drake, making it clear that the conversation had reached the people involved. For Loon, that proves It’s Up There Podcast is not just reacting to the culture — the culture is reacting back. Loon also breaks down Floyd Mayweather’s $175 million lawsuit and why it hits so hard after years of “Money Mayweather” branding. Floyd controlled distance in the ring, controlled the pay-per-view narrative, and became a symbol of wealth. But this lawsuit raises a bigger question: what is wealth if you cannot protect it? With The Breakfast Club moving to Netflix as the platform’s first daily live show, Loon explains why podcasting is changing in real time. YouTube is discovery. Netflix is prestige. Patreon is loyalty. The free episode creates the fan, but the paywall monetizes the believer. This episode also touches Ant Jefe, No Jumper, gang culture, DP politics, and how street identity can follow people even after they move into media. This is not gossip. This is the business behind the culture. New full episodes every Monday on It’s Up There Podcast. • Benzino Finally Addresses the Coi Leray Rift, Gets Emotional About Losing The Source Money & Eminem 26.05.2026 1sa 14dk
Benzino finally addresses the Coi Leray fallout, the long Eminem war, and what really happened to The Source money as Loon keeps pressing the questions he’s spent years sidestepping. Main description Benzino sits down with Loon for a conversation that goes way past surface drama. Outside the room, people still know him for the Eminem war, the public fracture with Coi Leray, the Elliott Wilson/XXL fight, and the 1995 Source Awards documentary. But Loon keeps dragging the conversation back to the harder payoff: what happened to The Source money, whether ego and the Eminem battle compromised the magazine, and why Benzino sounds detached about losing millions while still sounding wounded on family. That’s what makes this episode work. Benzino explains how he saw Eminem as a race-and-power issue, not just a rap issue; says the Eminem fight did compromise The Source to some degree; opens up on the disappointment around Coi Leray; defends the 95 Source Awards as a turning point for the whole culture; and still insists XXL copied The Source instead of ever really beating it. This is Benzino answering for family pain, old wars, money lost, legacy protected, and a hip-hop empire he says people still don’t fully understand. This isn’t just “Benzino on Eminem again.” Loon presses him on the part people still care about: the Coi Leray fallout, the Source money, the ego, the Dave Mays trust, the 95 Source Awards, and whether one of hip-hop’s biggest media empires was lost because Benzino never really changed how he moved.  0:00 - Coi Leray and the Public Family Wound 4:37 - Does Benzino Still Hate Eminem? 9:18 - Why He Saw Eminem as a Race-and-Power Issue 14:06 - Did the Eminem War Compromise The Source? 18:52 - What Happened to The Source Money? 23:41 - Dave Mays, Trust and the $12 Million Internet Move 28:27 - Did Benzino Fumble an Empire? 33:11 - Hip Hop Weekly and the Second Act 38:02 - The Source vs XXL / Elliott Wilson 42:48 - The 95 Source Awards Documentary 47:39 - Suge, Snoop, OutKast and the Night Hip-Hop Changed 53:06 - Why Benzino Thinks Hip-Hop Fell Into the Wrong Hands 57:41 - What Loon Wouldn’t Let Him Duck  Join Our Its Up There Podcast Clip Channel now https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCEh6Wk40kcNcMJ4t_jtmluw Discord https://discord.gg/GJKXMWQS For all exclusive interviews & more content not here click here https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast 🚨Unreleased Interviews https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast 🦺All Merch Options teespring.com/its-up-there-podcast-merch 🎧LISTEN ON SPOTIFY: https://open.spotify.com/show/4Jheeb8FxYVDRo8khyrz36?si=e339dD2JRte2MYX2Uon3BQ 👀 SUBSCRIBE HERE:https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_GorAVekpEVDlk1Yc8giw 👂 LISTEN ON APPLE PODCASTS: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/its-up-there-podcast/id1317524092?uo=4 👣FOLLOW ITS UP THERE PODCAST HOST : INSTAGRAM | fogfo_looney TIKTOK | https://www.tiktok.com/@fogfo_looney PATREON| https://www.patreon.com/itsuptherepodcast SUBSCRIBE TO Youtube Channel ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCl_GorAVekpEVDlk1Yc8giw WATCH MORE ➡️ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwNIuOcAtoo&list=PLnwwxLxHiDWayq4HPgNYUtsAGvqe3liOOSee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
