During this time, Satan was bound in the sense that he could not deceive the nations as he once did. The Gospel spread across the world, nations were transformed, and Christ’s kingdom advanced through believers living under His authority. But Revelation also warns of something else. After this long period, Satan would be released “for a little season” to deceive the nations once again. Many who study this interpretation believe we may be witnessing that very period now. The Bible describes a time when “the nations will be deceived”, and many believe the signs we see today align with that prophecy.
