They were making light of a story and her fears and although it is helpful to limit the chances of UTIs, delaying an immediate toilet visit after intercourse isn’t a bad idea when trying for a baby. Does Sperm Die When It Hits the Air? If a sperm hits the air, it will lose its moisture quickly. Once a sperm dries out, it is dead and ineffective for fertilizing an egg. If a sperm is dried, it cannot be rejuvenated even if it is re-moistened!
