When the old system no longer fits | Burnout, education & becoming someone new | Bettina Tornatora 14.09.2026 43dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Bettina Tornatora, entrepreneur, coach and Program Leader at the Scotland College of Chiropractic, and somewhere between education, burnout, identity and challenging systems that no longer fit, we arrived at something neither of us can unsee once we have lived it: “There is no back to the way it was.”After more than 25 years in entrepreneurship and coaching, Bettina moved from Melbourne to Barcelona to step into education, entered a role she describes as almost impossible and reached the point where she could no longer tell whether she needed rest or whether the environment itself was asking her to leave.Rather than decide from exhaustion, she created space, stepped into what she calls a spiritual container and gave herself a month to listen. Walking away wasn't failure. The form no longer fitted. She didn't reject education because one experience had broken her open. She returned differently, completed a Master's in Education and is now helping develop Scotland's first undergraduate chiropractic degree while staying close to practice and coaching to understand what future practitioners will face. That opened a bigger conversation about systems that can be broken without knowing they are broken, resistance to challenging inherited models, and how easily those trying to create change can be consumed by what they are trying to reshape.Bettina said something that applies far beyond education: “I'm working and I am giving, but I'm not sacrificing.”We also moved into the parts of burnout and transformation that can be polished away once someone reaches the other side: wondering whether we will feel like ourselves again, wanting to rebuild the life we had before, and realising that after certain experiences, that person may no longer exist.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat if progress begins when we stop trying to return to an old form and listen for what the next one requires?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of expecting recovery to mean becoming who you were before.✨ Release the need to fight every part of a system.✨ Notice when giving becomes sacrificing.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine resistance as part of changing something established.✨ Reshape education around the people entering it now.✨ Create boundaries that keep meaningful work sustainable.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Choose where your energy can create movement.✨ Stay close enough to reality to keep perspective.✨ Manage your internal environment before reshaping the external one.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What are you still trying to return to that no longer exists?✨ Where are you giving more than you have?✨ What might become clearer if you protected your energy?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/bettina-tornatora-aa249032/🌐 https://www.scotlandcollegechiro.co.uk/💭 Where are you being asked to stop going back and create another way forward?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #burnout #education #insideouttransformation #futureofeducation #reinvention -
The power of women backing themselves | Trust, visibility & long-term success | Vandana Tolani 14.09.2026 31dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Vandana Tolani, Founder and CEO of Convanto, whose career spans investment, family offices and advising hundreds of founders. Yet our conversation quickly went somewhere more personal: the period when Vandana didn't recognise her own talent. After closing deals and receiving recognition for her work, she remembers sitting by the window in her office and realising the capability had been there all along. What had been clouding it was self-doubt, criticism and the noise around her. Once she began trusting what she could do and filtering out that noise, something shifted.Trust became a thread through our whole conversation: the trust we place in ourselves and our decisions, the trust a founder asks an investor to place in them, and the trust that has allowed Vandana to grow Convanto through relationships, referrals and showing up for clients beyond a transaction. We explored why she sees the founder-investor relationship almost like a marriage, why capital needs shared expectations and integrity, and why founders need to understand who they are approaching and whether their business is genuinely ready for investment. For women, our conversation moved into visibility, decision-making and backing ourselves. Vandana spoke about the progress she sees alongside the gaps that remain in boardrooms and positions of genuine influence, and why women recognising their skills, making their own decisions and allowing themselves to be seen matters.Towards the end, Vandana shared the metaphor of a bamboo tree. For years, very little may appear above the surface while underneath, the roots are becoming strong enough to support what eventually emerges. I loved this as a reminder of how easily we compare our progress with somebody else's, when so much of building a business, reputation or ourselves happens before anyone else can see it.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat becomes possible when we trust what we're building before the results are visible?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the noise that makes us question our capability.✨ Release comparison with somebody else's visible success.✨ Stop assuming every investor or opportunity is the right fit.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine fundraising as a relationship, not a transaction.✨ Build visibility around who you are and what you stand for.✨ Reshape success around trust, consistency and long-term value.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Prepare the business before asking investors to back it.✨ Keep showing up while the roots are still forming.✨ Build relationships that can grow beyond a single deal.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you still questioning your capability?✨ What are you building beneath the surface?✨ Whose noise are you ready to stop carrying?Where to find more:🌐 https://convanto.com/🔗 https://linktr.ee/💭 Where could trusting yourself more change how you show up, make decisions or build what comes next?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #convanto #womeninbusiness #femaleentrepreneurs #selftrust #founders #fundraising #trust #insideouttransformation #selfbelief -
The longevity reset | L-Nutra, food as medicine & the science of regeneration | Dr. Joseph Antoun 14.09.2026 49dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Dr. Joseph Antoun, Chairman and CEO of L-Nutra, for a conversation that challenged some of what we have come to accept about ageing, from declining health to the way we eat, work and keep asking our bodies to perform without creating much space for regeneration.Joseph has spent decades at the intersection of medicine, nutrition and longevity, with much of his work beginning from something woven into the rhythm of our lives: food. We consume it several times a day, yet rarely consider what could change if we saw it not only as fuel, pleasure or calories, but as an asset for longevity. We explored L-Nutra and ProLon, biological age, fasting-mimicking nutrition, intermittent versus prolonged fasting and why Joseph believes periods of fasting can create an opportunity for repair and renewal. He kept returning to the analogy of a racing car, which I loved because however powerful the car, we would never expect it to race indefinitely without coming into the pits to check what is wearing down, make repairs and prepare for what comes next.It had me think about how rarely we apply the same logic to ourselves when constant consumption, stimulation, optimisation and output have become the norm..Our conversation didn't stay with the body, Joseph sees nutrition, movement, stress, sleep, community and purpose as interconnected parts of longevity, taking us into loneliness, technology and the possibility that AI could return something increasingly precious: time. Do we use those hours to produce even more, or return some of that space to creativity, connection, contribution and the people we love?Joseph's dad gave him a philosophy that brought so much of this together: “We were born on this planet not to be a doctor, not to be whatever.” Beneath the science and ambition of L-Nutra, this became a conversation about more than extending life; it was also about staying well enough to experience it and remembering what we want all that extra time to be for.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat if longevity also asks us to create space for renewal?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of accepting declining health as simply part of ageing.✨ Question food as only fuel, calories or weight management.✨ Release the need to turn every hour saved into more output.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine longevity as more than adding years.✨ Reshape food, fasting and regeneration as a wider system.✨ Bring community, purpose and happiness into living well.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Be intentional about what we eat, when we eat and how we move.✨ Create boundaries around work and space for people who matter.✨ See sleep, stress, connection and recovery as interconnected.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where might your life need a pit stop?✨ What has become “normal” that is worth questioning?✨ If AI gave you more time, what would you do with it?🔗 linkedin.com/in/drjosephantoun🌐 https://www.l-nutra.com/💭 Where could creating space for renewal change how you live?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic, illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #lnutra #longevity #foodasmedicine -
When the life you built no longer fits | Identity, reinvention & starting over | Andrea De La Cerda 14.09.2026 35dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Andrea De La Cerda, Founder and CEO of Kandula Communications, and somewhere between talking about identity, self-abandonment, business, marriage and the moment life stops allowing us to pretend everything still fits, we realised how much of our journeys had followed a similar path. For Andrea, that moment arrived in 2022 when several parts of the life she had built began unraveling at once. What she eventually had to confront was bigger than any one situation: how much of the person she had become was genuinely her, and how much had been shaped by being the perfect mother, employee, CEO, daughter and who she believed people needed her to be?“I bought into this identity because I don't think the identity was really authentically me.”Underneath the collapse was something Andrea had been overriding for years. She described the signals as a poke, then a slap and eventually a sledgehammer, and what happens when we keep swiping away the inner voice telling us something needs to change. We explored the shame that can come with dismantling a life we worked hard to create, separating who we are from the roles we have learned to perform, and Andrea’s shift from seeing everything as happening to her towards recognising the agency that returned when she began asking what it might be happening for.Towards the end, Andrea shared an idea from a CEO she once worked with. When clarity disappeared, he would “go into the woods” until the noise dropped away enough for him to hear what he already knew.Sometimes the next direction isn’t waiting outside us. From side project to founder | Building LOCOCO, Energy & the Courage to go all in | Anna Bloom 14.09.2026 32dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Anna Bloom, Founder and CEO of LOCOCO, and I loved the warmth of this conversation because underneath a beautiful functional cocoa created in the mountains of Park City was a much bigger story about creativity, founder energy and what happens when something we have been quietly nurturing starts asking for more of us.LOCOCO began during the pandemic, when Anna's kitchen became somewhere to experiment and play at a time when the outside world felt anything other than uncomplicated. What emerged was an idea she calls “uncomplicated comfort”: creating something genuinely pleasurable, functional and easy to bring into everyday life. After more than 15 years shaping brands and products for Facebook, Airbnb and Block, Anna was no stranger to side projects, yet this one kept growing until eventually she had to decide whether she was willing to give it her full attention. Going all in, as Anna described so openly, can sometimes feel like “terror,” especially when suddenly you are the most valuable and expensive resource inside the business. That took us into a founder tension I know well: when everything feels important, what actually deserves our energy? Anna shared something an art professor once taught her about needing three or four uninterrupted hours in the studio, because creativity has its own rhythm and we have to stay with the uncomfortable part long enough to discover what sits on the other side.“There's a moment of struggle, and if you cut short the moment of struggle, you don't get to the breakthrough.”I loved the tension between these ideas. We may want uncomplicated comfort in our lives, while creating something meaningful still asks us to move through uncertainty. Whether we are reshaping a product, a business or ourselves, sometimes the work needs enough space to reveal its next form.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat could emerge if we gave the important work enough space to reach the breakthrough?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the belief that everything deserves equal attention.✨ Release the idea that fear means you chose the wrong path.✨ Notice where urgency is consuming the energy your bigger vision needs.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine wellbeing as pleasurable, not another obligation.✨ Give creativity enough space to move through the messy middle.✨ Let ideas take the time they need to find their form.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Protect time for the work only you can do.✨ Know when people, systems or automation can carry the rest.✨ Build your time and energy around what matters most.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where is urgency stealing energy from what matters?✨ What have you been building on the side that is asking for more?✨ Step away from the noise and notice what needs your attention next.🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-v-bloom/🌐 https://lococomagic.com/💭 What might become possible if you gave your biggest vision the space it actually needs?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #lococo #founderjourney #creativity #energy #uncomfortable -
Enough for everybody | Trust, technology & rethinking how we evolve | Nancy Jacobs 13.09.2026 43dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Nancy Jacobs, Founder of Ovalis Group, who after more than 35 years in business reached a point where she wasn't even sure she wanted to remain in the working world she knew. She had spent years working hard, doing what she believed was right and navigating environments that didn't always reflect the same values back, until eventually she made her world smaller for a while and found something she hadn't expected in that space: peace and where she had a bias. What emerged from there wasn't really a plan to start another company. Nancy had reached a stage where, in her words, “I have nothing to lose by trying what I believe is the right way of working,” and I loved where that took our discussion because Ovalis became an experiment in what business might look like if she built from that belief rather than adapting herself to another existing system. We explored what changes when growth isn't driven by endless extraction, why Nancy believes there is enough for everybody, and how knowing your value and growing intentionally can sit alongside commercial success. We also talked about technology and AI, an area Nancy knows incredibly well, and why the more automated our world becomes, the more she finds herself coming back to something remarkably simple: “Be genuine. Say hello to people, have conversations. Don't sell.”Then there was Nancy's egg, which became one of my favourite parts of our conversation. I won't unpack the whole metaphor here, other than to say it completely reshaped the way we talked about the role of a founder, the people who sit inside and around a business, and what we are actually responsible for protecting as we grow.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat changes when we stop treating people, values and commercial growth as competing priorities?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the belief that growth has to come through extraction.✨ Release the need to conform to systems that no longer feel aligned.✨ Stop assuming professionalism requires us to become less human.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine business around trust, care and long-term relationships.✨ Reshape growth so values remain part of the operating system.✨ Create structures that allow people to contribute without shrinking themselves.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build slowly enough to protect what matters.✨ Let values guide decisions before pressure does.✨ Use technology where it creates real value without outsourcing the relationship.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What are you protecting at the centre of your business?✨ Where has growth started pulling you away from your values?✨ What would change if trust became part of your commercial strategy?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/nancyjacobs/🌐 https://www.ovalisgroupllc.com/founders-story💭 If your business were an egg, what inside it would be worth protecting as you grow?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #lifeleadershipbusiness #values #entrepreneurship #humanity #bias #businessgrowth #trust #secondchance #insideouttransformation -
The signal before the crisis | Kidney risk, resilience & fourth vital | Patañjali Chary 13.09.2026 43dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Patañjali Chary, Founder and CEO of Fourth Vital, for an intense and enlightening conversation about adversity, agency and what remains possible when life changes form without warning.Around 20 years ago, Patañjali lost his mother to acute kidney failure, leaving the engineer in him with a question he couldn't leave alone: what might be happening inside the body before traditional signals reveal there is a problem? That question eventually became Fourth Vital, bringing technology and AI together to help identify kidney risk earlier, while there is still more time to act. Then, only months after starting the company, Patañjali woke one morning unable to feel his legs. A severe listeria infection had crossed his blood-brain barrier and travelled down his spinal cord. He was placed into an induced coma and later heard that he might never walk, talk, swallow or eat normally again. Patañjali described spending a night willing his left toe to move, drawing on what he understood about the brain, imagination and its extraordinary capacity to find another way. The following morning, his toe moved. What I loved about where our conversation went was that Patañjali never framed recovery as willpower alone. His wife, clinicians, friends, advisors and engineers became part of the story, including keeping Fourth Vital moving when he couldn't use a laptop for seven months. “Nobody perseveres alone.”We explored how that same thinking shapes the way he builds: knowing what you don't know, letting go of the founder's need to have every answer, surrounding yourself with people whose expertise is different from your own, and continuing to experiment when the path ahead isn't clear.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat if adversity can change the form without defining what comes next?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of believing we need every answer because we are leading.✨ Release “never” when possibility has not been exhausted.✨ Accept that we cannot carry every part of the journey alone.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine adversity as something from which agency can emerge.✨ Create around the questions we cannot leave unanswered.✨ Reshape leadership around different minds, disciplines and strengths.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Know what you don't know and build around it.✨ Keep experimenting and adapting when something fails.✨ Turn lived experience into greater possibility for others.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where have you accepted “never” too quickly?✨ Who strengthens your will when your capacity is depleted?✨ What might your hardest experience be asking you to create?Where to find more:🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/patanjalichary/🌐 https://www.fourthvital.ai/💭 What becomes possible when adversity becomes agency?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #fourthvital #healthtech #kidneyhealth #resilience #antifragility #founders #nonlinear #insideouttransformation #recovery #willpower -
When pushing stops working | adaptive safety, culture & human performance | Errol Amerasekera 10.09.2026 47dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Errol Amerasekera, author, speaker and Director of Bluestone Edge, whose latest book From Fear to Flow: The Adaptive Safety Revolution explores something very close to where I am personally right now: when does the way we have learned to perform start getting in the way of flow?“The harder I push, and the more I override the part of me that doesn't want to push, the less the results are flowing.”I knew exactly what Errol meant, ambition and drive have served both of us incredibly well, and there comes a point where the identity that enabled us to perform can start pulling us away from ourselves. We talked openly about that shift from flow into force, the signals of disconnection we override and why pressure can make us grip harder to what worked before.Errol's work on adaptive safety grew from his own experience of belonging. Growing up as one of very few brown-skinned children in predominantly white environments shaped something he consciously connected to his work much later: creating the kind of environments he needed himself. Today, he sees trust, inclusion and connection as foundations for teams to adapt and perform under pressure. We explored a bigger shift from an extractive model of continually pushing for more towards something more ecological, connected and adaptive: fear around AI, resistance as a signal we may be reaching the edge of our capacity, learning deeply rather than simply learning fast, and recovery as part of performance.Underneath so much of our conversation was a question Errol uses when coaching leaders: “What's my role required of me in this moment?”I loved that, if the context is moving, the team is moving and we are moving too, why would the role remain fixed?THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat changes when we stop forcing performance and create the conditions for it to emerge?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the belief that pressure automatically produces better performance.✨ Release the identity that says who you have been is who you must continue to be.✨ Notice when control and pushing are responses to fear.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine performance as ecological: people, relationships and context working as a system.✨ Create safety through micro-behaviours that strengthen trust, inclusion and connection.✨ Reshape your role around what the moment requires rather than a fixed identity.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Observe what increases or erodes safety inside your team.✨ Slow down enough to understand why something worked or failed.✨ Recognise resistance as information and get curious about what sits underneath it.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Learn your earliest signal that flow is becoming force.✨ Treat recovery as part of performance, not something that happens after it.✨ Ask: am I still in flow, or overriding what I already know?🌐 https://errolamerasekera.com💭 Where are you still pushing because the identity that created your success hasn't caught up with who you are becoming?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #fromfeartoflow #flowstate #adaptivesafety #highperformance #culture #futureofwork #lifeleadershipbusiness #antifragile #nonlinear -
Returning to what you know as someone new | Tech, Intuition & the future of media | Ellen Mahloy 10.09.2026 49dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Ellen Mahloy, Founder and CEO of Ethereal Networks, whose journey made me think differently about reinvention. Sometimes moving forward doesn't mean leaving an old life behind. We can return to something we once knew carrying an entirely different version of ourselves with us.Ellen began her career in technology, becoming an IT project manager and helping launch Sirius satellite radio, before illness took her life in another direction. She left corporate technology, studied Reiki and spent the next 20 years as a practitioner, master and teacher, alongside teaching psychic development. Two decades later, an unexpected opportunity brought technology back into her life. Ellen describes meditating on whether to pursue it and receiving what she understood as a spiritual message about the “sacred contracts” connected to the platform. She didn't know how every piece would come together, yet decided to build what she could and remain open to the people who might carry the rest. That platform became Ethereal Networks, and I loved how Ellen hasn't returned to technology by leaving her spiritual world behind. She has integrated the two. Intuition sits alongside systems thinking, serendipity alongside project management, and her ability to solve complex problems now carries twenty years of completely different life experience with it.We discussed media ownership, women becoming creators and gatekeepers, AI and our growing hunger for authenticity. Ellen believes owning the platform changes who holds the power to tell stories, which is why she isn't simply creating content. Ellen's building the infrastructure for different voices to reach the world on their own terms. There is something powerful in coming full circle without ending up where we started. The work may look somewhat familiar and yet we are not.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat if reinvention can mean returning to an old path as someone new?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the idea that careers need one continuous trajectory.✨ Release the belief that changing direction makes what came before irrelevant.✨ Stop waiting until every piece of the puzzle is visible.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine how intuition and experience can coexist in how we build.✨ Reshape ownership so creators have greater control over their stories.✨ Create new structures instead of waiting for gatekeepers to make space.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Bring skills from previous chapters into what you are building now.✨ Build what you can see and remain open to who completes the next piece.✨ Design technology around the people it is meant to enable.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What from your past might return in a different form?✨ Where could you leave more space for connection?✨ What would you build differently if you owned the platform?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/ellenmahloy/🌐 https://www.etherealtv.net/💭 What could you return to now as the person you have become?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #etherealnetworks #media #womenintech #creatoreconomy #growth -
The second half is not the sideline | Women redefining what comes next | Celine Egan 10.09.2026 34dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Celine Egan, CEO of Juice Plus+ Australia and New Zealand, around a question many women eventually face: when the roles, identities and expectations that shaped the first half of our lives begin to loosen, do we shrink with them or decide there is still far more to create?Celine has spent more than 40 years helping people build businesses and, now in her sixties, is challenging the idea that women should become less visible as they age. She sees the first half of life as our apprenticeship and the second as the opportunity to use everything we have learned. That took us into identity, fear and what happens when we know something needs to change, yet struggle to release the version of ourselves we have spent decades building. Celine spoke openly about tying her value to what she did rather than who she was.We also explored the “magic of the and”: being a leader and a mother, a grandmother and an ambitious woman, looking after ourselves and still wanting more. Reinvention doesn’t mean rejecting everything that came before. We can return to an old passion, career or part of ourselves with a different perspective.I loved Celine’s distinction between making decisions out of desperation and making them out of inspiration. What looks like an ending or disruption may create space to reimagine what comes next. When we moved into direct selling, Celine brought us back to something increasingly relevant in a world struggling with trust: less polish and fewer filters, more genuine human connection.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONThe second half isn't about becoming less. Build what solves the problem | Tradies, technology & knowing when to let go | Ofir Kuberman 10.09.2026 41dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Ofir Kuberman, Co-Founder of Sendatradie, whose business began almost accidentally after he arrived in Australia from Israel looking for a different way of living and working.Travelling with a tradie friend, Ofir saw how much time disappeared into quotes, invoices and administration rather than the trade itself. His friend had tried the software available and nothing really fitted, so Ofir built something simple for him and moved on.Months later, his friend’s business had grown dramatically. With less administration consuming his attention, he had more capacity for customers and the work itself. That experiment became Sendatradie and opened up a bigger question: are we building technology to add more into our lives, or to give something back?I loved where this took us. Ofir comes from an Israeli entrepreneurial culture he describes as comfortable with testing and failing quickly. He has built businesses that worked and others he eventually closed, which led us into attachment, knowing when to stop forcing an idea and the relief that can come from finally letting it go.We also explored AI and why Ofir believes technology can remove more of the work surrounding a tradie without removing the skill, judgement and presence we value. His reframing of SaaS from “software as a service” towards “service as software” took us further into autonomy, outcomes and what the future of work could become. There is something very Bee Formless™ in Ofir’s approach: build around a real problem, test the form, listen and be willing to reshape or release it. From inner transformation to cultural catalyst | Self-mastery & systemic change | Jaclyn Orent 10.09.2026 37dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Jaclyn Orent, Co-Founder and CEO of the Cultural Catalyst Network™, to explore a question that feels increasingly important: can we transform our businesses, cultures and systems without transforming the way we operate within them?Jaclyn is creating infrastructure for societal transformation, connecting cultural catalysts around shared purpose and collective action. Yet her understanding of systemic change began with a very personal dismantling of how she had learned to move through the world. After losing a dream role in her twenties, Jaclyn entered almost a decade of healing and self-inquiry, including wilderness therapy, intensive personal work and a 36-day water fast. Along the way, she encountered David Hawkins’ work on power versus force and recognised something I related to enormously: she had learned to create through pushing, controlling and forcing things into being. That opened up a conversation about what happens when we stop treating our inner and outer worlds as separate. We explored consciousness, self-mastery, why the way we are affects the way we lead, and how relationships can carry new ways of being through entire systems. We also discussed something increasingly relevant in an AI-shaped world: technology may understand the concept of love without ever experiencing it. We cannot outsource genuine compassion, connection or what it means to be human. If these qualities are fundamental to life giving cultural change, our future may depend as much on expanding our own capacity as advancing the technology around us.There was something very Bee Formless™ in Jaclyn’s observation that we can traverse the unknown ourselves, or wait for life to facilitate the transformation for us. The next form only becomes possible when we stop forcing the one we already know.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONSystemic transformation begins with the people creating and sustaining the system.LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of force as the only path to progress.✨ Release the need to know exactly what comes next.✨ Notice where an old identity is keeping an old system alive.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine leadership through relationship rather than individual control.✨ Create from greater self-awareness, acceptance and connection.✨ Reshape systems around what gives life rather than continually extracting from it.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build the self-mastery to get out of your own way.✨ Connect with people around shared purpose and collective action.✨ Focus on what serves the transformation you are actually here to create.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you still forcing what may be asking to change form?✨ What would you need to accept to move differently?✨ Are you consciously shaping your transformation or waiting for life to do it?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/jaclynorent/🌐 https://culturalcatalysts.net💭 Where are you still using force when another form of power may be available?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #culturalcatalyst #systemicchange #selfmastery #soulfulhighflowconsciousleadership -
Healing the future | Creativity, moral imagination & what makes us human | Will Cady 09.09.2026 46dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, recorded while I was in Los Angeles, I connected with Will Cady, author of Which Way Is North, artist, cultural strategist and Founder of HEAL MVMNT, for a conversation that kept returning to one question: as everything around us accelerates, what are we choosing to remain human for? Will spent years at Reddit, joining long before it became the business most of us recognise today. One of its early values stayed with him: “Remember the human.” Nearly a decade later, as technology moves further into how we work, create, decide and relate to one another, those three words feel even more important. We explored Will’s belief that creativity is spirituality in different clothing, why intuition matters when information becomes overwhelming, and what happens when our jobs become so entangled with our identities that change begins to feel like a threat to who we are. There was another idea I loved: we have become very good at beginning things, yet far less practised at completion. Will spoke about asking ourselves whether we would consciously rehire ourselves into the life or role we are currently living, or whether something has reached its natural ending and another form is asking to emerge. That took us into healing, Will’s view is that there can be no growth without repair. We can move fast, build, innovate and transform, yet something eventually asks to be integrated behind us if we want to evolve forward. This is where technology became much more interesting. Rather than asking only what AI can do, Will asks who the machine serves, what values shape its use and what kind of future we are actually imagining. Technology can increase possibility; humanity still has to decide what possibility is for.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONProgress is not simply about what we can build next. It is about who we are becoming while we build it.LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of identities that no longer reflect who we are becoming.✨ Release the assumption that faster automatically means better.✨ Stop expecting certainty before allowing a new form to emerge.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine creativity as a distinctly human way of making meaning.✨ Reshape progress around moral imagination, not technological capability alone.✨ Create systems that preserve humanity rather than asking people to become more machine-like.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Codify the values that guide how you make decisions.✨ Ask where technology belongs, where it doesn’t and why.✨ Complete what has ended so energy can move towards what comes next.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Would you rehire yourself into the life you are living now?✨ Where is resistance pointing towards something that wants to change?✨ What does progress look like when humanity remains at the centre?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/willcady/🌐 https://willcady.com/💭 As the world asks more of the machine, what are you choosing to protect about being human?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #willcady #healmvmnt #creativity #humanity #leadership #futureofwork -

He moved across countries, seven industries and senior corporate roles before reaching his own inflection point around 50, when the success of Mastering Executive Transitions began opening opportunities he couldn’t pursue while remaining in corporate life. One question on his vision board became difficult to ignore: “If not now, when?”What fascinated me was Navid’s research into what happens once leaders step into the C-suite. He shared that around 40% of executive transitions fail within the first 18 months, opening up a much bigger conversation about identity, ego, listening and why capability alone isn’t enough. We explored his Double Diamond Framework and five C’s: context, culture, commitment, circles and confidence. A leader can arrive with extraordinary credentials and still need to understand a new ecosystem of relationships, influence and expectations before trying to reshape it.There was something very Bee Formless™ in that for me. When leadership loses perspective | Growth, possibility & success from within | Lana Hailemariam 09.09.2026 35dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Lana Hailemariam, CEO of StandUP and Co-creator of The Flourish Lab, and somewhere between leadership, leaking roofs, creativity, success and her decision to stop complaining, we landed on something many of us are wrestling with: have we become so consumed by what demands our attention that we are losing sight of what could actually move us forward?Lana sees leadership as something we continually become rather than a role we eventually arrive at, which opened up an interesting conversation about the loops we fall into when everything feels urgent. We can answer emails, hit deadlines, put out fires and keep proving how busy we are, while leaving almost no space to challenge our thinking or imagine something different. Her own path into leadership was anything but linear. A graduate career plan disappeared when the market shifted, sales taught her that money alone wasn’t enough, and an unexpected opportunity inside a church became one of the places she learned the most about people, purpose and what leadership asks of us.What I loved was how often Lana brought the conversation back to choice. As she put it, “when the octopus is on your face, it really limits your perspective.” When everything feels hard, do we stay inside the complaint and whatever is immediately on fire, or pull back enough to see what else is possible? That same question followed us into creativity and success. Lana believes we need people and environments that interrupt familiar patterns, challenge how we think and remind us that possibility still exists. If we never define success for ourselves, we can spend years acquiring things from the outside without asking whether they are creating anything meaningful within.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONLeadership evolves when we stop mistaking motion for growth and become more intentional about what we are actually creating.LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of busy as proof that we are doing meaningful work.✨ Release the belief that leadership has one shape or personality.✨ Notice when complaining is keeping us inside the problem.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine leadership as something we continually become.✨ Create space for perspectives that challenge our own.✨ Reshape success around what matters from the inside out.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Protect time to reflect before automatically reacting.✨ Surround yourself with people who expand what feels possible.✨ Interrupt familiar patterns before they become unconscious loops.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where has busy become a substitute for progress?✨ What are you complaining about that may be asking you to change something?✨ Are you living your definition of success or somebody else’s?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/lanahailemariam/🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/company/teamstandup/💭 What changes when you stop proving you are busy and start asking whether you are growing?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #leadershipdevelopment #creativity #growthmindset #success #intentional #busy -
Patient capital, female founders & building without losing the why | Vaishali James 08.09.2026 38dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I reconnected with Vaishali James, Co-Founder of Sangatna Angels, as they celebrated their first investment into a female-led agritech business in India.Fittingly, our conversation began with improvisation. When our original recording platform didn't work, Vaishali connected the moment to Bee Formless™ herself: water takes the shape of whatever holds it. Sometimes we have to leave one form without knowing what the next will be.Vaishali knows something about that. After 19 years in one organisation, she realised she was “running very hard on a treadmill and going nowhere.” She left without another job or a mapped next move. That journey led to Sangatna Angels and a question she could no longer ignore: why are more women becoming entrepreneurs while so little investment capital reaches them?Vaishali has watched female founders be questioned about marriage, pregnancy and risk while male founders are asked about revenue, growth and scale. What happens when we absorb those expectations and become harder, louder or more aggressive because we think that is how we need to compete? Her answer was one of my favourite parts of our conversation: compete, absolutely, but compete from your strengths. We discussed the same tension through patient capital: investing for change that takes time while still demanding immediate growth and returns. And another question founders don't always ask soon enough: what happens when the capital you wanted begins changing the DNA of the business you built? For Vaishali, this comes back to the why; brand begins with why the business exists, creating an anchor as the business, capital and world around it change.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONHow do we grow without allowing outside expectations to reshape what matters on the inside?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the belief that funding automatically means aligned growth.✨ Release the need to perform someone else’s version of success.✨ Recognise when speed is pulling us away from the problem we came to solve.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine capital around patience, alignment and longer-term impact.✨ Create space for women to compete from their strengths, not borrowed behaviours.✨ Reshape growth around the why rather than allowing growth to reshape it.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Choose capital that aligns with the business you actually want to build.✨ Build brand from purpose before trying to retrofit the story later.✨ Stay with the entrepreneurial journey long enough to learn what it can become.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are outside expectations changing how you show up?✨ Is your growth still aligned with why you began?✨ What might need more patience before you decide it isn't working?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/vaishali-james-25066815/🌐 https://www.sangatna.com/💭 Where are you trying to fit the room instead of competing from your strengths?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #sangatnaangels #femalefounders #patientcapital #impactinvesting #insideouttransfromation #womeninvc -
Major events have outgrown the way we run them | Systems, scale & change | Hailey Mason 08.09.2026 34dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Hailey Mason, Founder & CEO of evatto™, whose 25-year career has taken her inside some of the world’s most complex events, from Red Bull to international sporting events and the FIFA Women’s World Cup.What happens when you know an industry deeply enough to recognise that the way it has always worked can no longer carry where it is going? For Hailey, that meant questioning an events ecosystem still held together by spreadsheets, PowerPoints, email approvals and knowledge living inside people’s heads. Engineering has JIRA, sales has Salesforce, yet events still have no real system of work. When a process taking her team 20–30 hours suddenly took minutes, another form started to become possible.I loved where this took our conversation, because building that next form has also meant Hailey reshaping herself. Startmate pushed her harder than an already intense career in events ever had, while the roadmap beneath her kept changing. As a single mum to twin boys, she worked extraordinary hours, but kept mountain biking, listened when her body needed rest and leaned on the community around her. Moving fast didn’t mean doing everything alone. We explored what happens when new ways of working collide with decades of experience, why people need trust to let go of what they know, and whether removing more of the work that weighs us down might actually create more space for what makes us human: creativity, critical thinking, connection and extraordinary experiences. When, I asked Hailey what she would tell a founder at the beginning of the journey, her answer felt wonderfully aligned with everything we had explored: “Don’t try to be perfect. Just try to move quickly.”THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONWhat happens when an industry has outgrown the systems that helped build it?LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of ways of working we keep simply because they are familiar.✨ Release the need to perfect something before putting it into motion.✨ Recognise when complexity is taking people away from the work they are there to do.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine an event ecosystem designed for where the industry is going.✨ Create systems that capture knowledge rather than losing it with individuals.✨ Reshape technology around human creativity, critical thinking and connection.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Test the problem deeply before scaling the solution.✨ Move, learn and adapt while the environment around you is changing.✨ Bring people through transformation with champions, education and trust.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where has the way you work outgrown the systems supporting it?✨ What are you trying to perfect that would be better tested?✨ What do you need to protect so moving faster doesn’t come at the expense of yourself?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/haileymason/🌐 https://evatto.ai💭 What old way of working are you ready to stop carrying into what comes next?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #evatto #eventtech #events #founders #innovation #futureofwork #insideouttransformation -
Experimentation, creativity, motherhood & the freedom to get it wrong | Cathryn McLauchlan 07.09.2026 38dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Cathryn McLauchlan, Experimentation Manager at News Corp, Co-Founder of Vizall and mum of three boys, to explore what changes when we stop trying to get everything right.Experimentation is part of Cathryn’s working life: test something small, learn from what happens and use that insight to shape what comes next. I really loved how naturally that thinking flowed into our conversation about motherhood, creativity, identity and the pressure we place on ourselves to have things figured out.Cathryn is writing a book about innovation in motherhood, born partly from her own experience of moving from work into maternity leave and missing the intellectual stimulation and creativity that had always been part of her. We explored who we are when a role or identity shifts, and how we stay connected to ourselves while still embracing what we are becoming.Perfection became a big part of our conversation too, as Cathryn talked about giving herself more grace when she gets things wrong and teaching her boys that mistakes are normal: “the most interesting stories in our lives… are usually shaped around our mistakes.”That feels particularly relevant when careers, technology, education and work are changing so quickly. None of us has perfected what comes next. Being willing to experiment, learn and reshape may be far more useful than waiting until we know exactly what we’re doing.I also enjoyed hearing the analogy Cathryn shared about knowing which balls we are juggling are glass and which are plastic, some need protecting, others can drop and bounce. Then, when creativity disappears, sometimes the answer is not to push harder, instead to step away, get outside and give our minds space to reset.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONExperimentation isn’t simply a business tool. From franchisee to business owner | Systems, growth & entrepreneurship | Rhiannon Simcocks 07.09.2026 39dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Rhiannon Simcocks, CEO of James Home Services Australia, whose first taste of business transformation came at 19. Halfway through a business degree, she stepped into a struggling hospitality business and helped turn it profitable within three months.Years later, Rhiannon was brought in to assess James Home Services and her recommendation was clear: don’t buy it. The business needed transformation. Today, she is the CEO leading it.I loved where our conversation went from there, because Rhiannon is challenging what franchising, entrepreneurship and even the word “franchisee” can mean. She is trying to remove it from her own language: “They are business owners.” Her focus is less on leveraging a brand and more on helping everyday people build something of their own with the systems, skills and support around them. And she is equally clear that support doesn’t remove personal responsibility. “There ain’t nobody coming to save you.” James Home Services receives hundreds of enquiries each month and starts only a handful, looking for people with financial readiness, ownership and something meaningful they are running towards, not simply something they are escaping.Rhiannon described business as “a series of systems and processes repeated to get an outcome over time.” We explored why those foundations matter, how more women could recognise the transferable skills they already have, and why a simple service business can become a stepping stone into something much bigger. When I asked what CEOs should focus on amid all the noise and complexity, Rhiannon brought it back to something refreshingly simple: double down on what works, protect the culture, keep good people and focus on what actually drives the business.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONThis conversation reshapes entrepreneurship from something we have to endure alone into something that can be supported, structured and built alongside others.LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the belief that asking for support makes you less entrepreneurial.✨ Release outdated assumptions about what franchising represents.✨ Stop mistaking more activity, tools and complexity for progress.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine franchising as supported business ownership.✨ Create models that build capability, confidence and independence.✨ Open more pathways for women and first-time founders to step into business ownership.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Build repeatable systems before trying to scale.✨ Double down on what drives revenue, strengthens culture and supports people.✨ Know what you are running towards, not only what you are trying to escape.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ What is already working that deserves more of your attention?✨ Where are you making business harder than it needs to be?✨ What support would help you move forward without carrying everything alone?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/rhiannon-simcocks-7051a3120/🌐 https://jameshomeservices.com.au/💭 What could change if you didn’t have to build alone?Ready for your next shape shift? Decentralising the financial system | Private markets, ownership & investing | Evan Szu 06.09.2026 47dkIn this episode of the Bee Formless™ Flow Driven CEO Podcast, I connected with Evan Szu, Founder and CEO of Gamma Prime, for a conversation about what happens when the financial systems we have always relied on begin to loosen their grip.Evan has spent more than three decades across AI, trading, entrepreneurship and financial markets, so I was intrigued by the way he framed decentralisation: not simply as a crypto story, but as a shift in who holds the keys. His comparison to the early internet made it tangible. What once felt technical and inaccessible can eventually disappear beneath everyday life until we barely notice the infrastructure at all.Evan challenged the idea that owning different stocks necessarily makes us diversified, pointing to areas such as private credit, reinsurance and litigation finance that can behave very differently when public markets move together. We also explored AI as an amplifier. Evan’s view was to run towards it, learn what it changes and use it to expand what we are capable of creating. Yet the more digital everything becomes, the more he believes trust, storytelling, relationships and real-world connection matter.I loved our conversation around the next generation of entrepreneurs too. Evan mentors younger founders and believes one of the smartest ways to prepare for entrepreneurship is to learn inside someone else’s early-stage business first: watch what breaks, see how decisions are made and build judgement before opening your own Pandora’s box.THE SHAPE SHIFT IN MOTIONAt the heart of this conversation was a shift in how we think about ownership, capital and what becomes possible when technology opens up different ways to learn, invest and build.LEARN (LETTING GO)✨ Let go of the belief that diversification simply means owning different stocks.✨ Separate blockchain infrastructure from the speculation often associated with it.✨ Release the instinct to retreat from technology simply because it feels unfamiliar.UNLEARN (CREATE, REIMAGINE & RESHAPE)✨ Reimagine how capital could move with fewer traditional intermediaries.✨ Explore what greater financial ownership and decentralisation could make possible.✨ Consider how AI could expand what the next generation of entrepreneurs can learn and create.RELEARN (TEST & IMPLEMENT)✨ Learn new financial models before feeling pressure to participate in them.✨ Build entrepreneurial judgement through proximity, mentorship and real-world experience.✨ Use technology alongside human trust, relationships and storytelling.ACTIVE RECOVERY (REFLECT & RESET)✨ Where are you holding onto a familiar system because it feels safer?✨ What could you explore without needing to immediately act on it?✨ Are you creating enough space to understand change before deciding what it means for you?🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/in/evanszu/🔗 https://www.linkedin.com/company/gamma-prime-com/💭 What would ownership of your financial future look like?Book a Strategic Shape Shift Diagnostic to illuminate what needs to shift across leadership, business and brand, from the inside out.🔗 https://calendly.com/beeformless/strategicshapeshiftdiagnostic#beeformless #flowdrivenceo #gammaprime #decentralisation #blockchain #investing #nextgeneration
