Janaé Rachel Ballot's "Disassociated Me" sees the director encouraged by her friend Elísabet Ronaldsdóttir, to make a film about her chaotic past. Without a script, she casts actors, location scouts, relives childhood trauma until she is struck by a car mid-production.
