<p>Payilagam podcast is a dedicated Tamil language learning programme that takes the listener from the basics of Tamil speech all the way up to being able to read, write, and be able to discourse in Tamil. Payilagam is also a source of access to the Tamil way of life, cutlure, society and politics, history and social values.This podcast begins with an introduction and goes then jumps straight into learning vocabulary based on themes, daily activities and then numbers, and sentences are practiced with these words, that have already been learnt in the Tamil Basic Podcast. It is recommended that learners who wish to use this podcast also first, or simultaneously complete the Payilagam: Learn Tamil Basic Podcast as well!This podcast is uniquely created in the form of a classroom setting with other learners being recorded for the listener to be able to listen to other learners at their own level; to listen and also particate in the spaces offered within the podcast.
