Eddington, Bugonia, and Beau is Afraid, with Travis Mateer 05.06.2026 2h 28minAfter many requests Thomas is joined by Travis Mateer to cover Eddington, Ari Aster's 2025 neo-Western political satire and early-Covid period piece. We break down the film's portrayal of technology, social media, conspiracy theories, Covid, Wokeness, and data collection, situating its messaging within the context of the cultural transitions and inter-elite warfare of the last half decade. While many have called the film meta-political or omni-political, comments from Aster and a careful reading of Eddington reveal the clear ideological agenda of this very sophisticated psyop. To further understand Aster's worldview, we also explore Beau Is Afraid, his incredibly unpleasant 2023 epic surrealistic horror tragicomedy, which gives fascinating insights into some of the ethnic and religious roots of Hollywood's fixation on the archetype of the devouring mother. Finally, we discuss Bugonia, Yorgos Lanthimos' 2025 dark comedy thriller, which similarly to Eddington, is a film that pretends to take conspiratorial concerns seriously while bolstering the same old elite ideologies. Born on the Fourth of July (Oliver Stone 6) 29.04.2026 2h 14minAfter his hyper-sus digression of Talk Radio (1988), we return to the thematic focus that defined this era of Olive Stone's career. He continues to explore the ghosts of the 1960s with Born on the Fourth of July, his 1989 anti-war drama starring Tom Cruise. We keep analyzing Stone's treatments of religion, sexuality, war, and masculinity, go over some sus production credits, and talk about how this film sets the stage for his even more extensive interaction with the counterculture psyop in 1991's The Doors. If you enjoy Psyop Cinema, check out the research anthology series Cultural Engineering Studies. Suddenly (Research Report 8, Preview) 17.04.2026 4minA preview clip from Brett's recent deep dive into the 1954 film Suddenly, starring Frank Sinatra as a mob hitman hired to assassinate a US president. The full Patreon-exclusive episode is a supplement to both our Joker Cycle series and our recent episode on The Manchurian Candidate.Brett uncovers the source of the legend that Lee Harvey Oswald viewed the film a month before the JFK assassination, exposing how that legend has been deliberately amplified by intelligence assets and professional psyop’ers with a view toward bolstering the lone gunman theory. According to another legend, Sinatra had the film pulled out of circulation after the assassination—a carbon copy of a popular legend about The Manchurian Candidate. Brett explains how these legends have been used to apply a soft version of the “copycat” thesis to Oswald, as well as how the film’s portrayal of the psychopathic assassin instantiates an early form of the profile, popularized in later films like Taxi Driver. Media depictions of the profile, as explained here and throughout the Joker Cycle series, function not only to explain away assassinations and other deep states crimes but, via the dynamics of cybernetic feedback loops, to engineer the very psychopathological behaviors depicted. For the full episode -https://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemaIf you enjoy Psyop Cinema, check out the research anthology series Cultural Engineering Studies. True Detective: Night Country, with Jamie Hanshaw Dyer 13.03.2026 1h 58minReturning to True Detective, Thomas is joined by Jamie Hanshaw Dyer to analyze the controversial fourth season, Night Country, which takes a much less subtle approach in its psy-op messaging than any previous season. They describe its occult feminist inversions of the first season and how Night Country promotes the dissolution of both familial and metaphysical order. Thomas also gives his updated thoughts on the positive and negative aspects of the series as a whole and speculates about the original intentions behind it.Use the code truedetective26 for a limited time 30% discount on the Decoding Culture Foundation website if you want to buy volumes #1 and #2 of the research anthology Cultural Engineering Studies (issue #3 available soon, on Hollywood Neo-Gnosticism) -https://decoding-culture.com/buy-print-issue-1/https://decoding-culture.com/ces-issue-2/Jamie's YouTube channel - https://www.youtube.com/@jamiehanshaw4378Jamie and Jay's books - https://jaysanalysis.com/shop/Spiral symbol on a mask at Ghislaine Maxwell's house - https://www.reddit.com/r/conspiracy/comments/cd7zu4/pedo_symbols_on_artwork_in_ghislaine_maxwells/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://psyopcinema.com/thomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Clint Eastwood and The Outlaw Josey Wales, with Jason McGinty 10.03.2026 2h 29minBrett and Thomas are joined by Jason McGinty, author of The Unsung Substack, for a discussion of both Clint Eastwood's 1976 film The Outlaw Josey Wales and Eastwood's broader persona. We talk about the movie's use of the Lost Cause narrative about the Civil War, with Jason providing his expertise on the historical backdrop of the film, the war between the Jayhawker and Bushwhacker guerilla factions in Kansas and Missouri. With references to many Eastwood films and other aspects of his life and career, we make the case that the rugged individualism of his action movies was largely a Trojan horse, a masculine guise used to subvert the social order and accelerate the dissolution of the family. https://jasonmcginty.substack.com/Use the code psyopcinema for a limited time 30% discount on the Decoding Culture Foundation website if you want to buy issue's #1 and #2 of the research anthology Cultural Engineering Studies (issue #3 available soon, on Hollywood Neo-Gnosticism) -https://decoding-culture.com/buy-print-issue-1/https://decoding-culture.com/ces-issue-2/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://psyopcinema.com/thomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Sneakers, with Travis Mateer (Surveillance Cinema 2) 26.01.2026 3h 4minIn the second installment of our Surveillance Cinema series, we are joined by citizen journalist Travis Mateer for a discussion of Sneakers, a 1992 comedy heist thriller, directed by Phil Alden Robinson and starring Robert Redford and Ben Kingsley. Among the most conspiratorially significant films of all time, Sneakers is an overt vehicle for globalist views on information warfare, filled with limited hangouts, misdirection, and predictive programming. We get into the sus background of the director, writers, and much of the cast, also analyzing related films, such as Blindfold (1966), WarGames (1983), and Volunteers (1985).Travis's blog - https://zoomchron.com/If you enjoy Psyop Cinema, check out the Decoding Culture Foundation and Cultural Engineering Studies magazine - https://decoding-culture.com/print-copies/ - https://decoding-culture.com/publication/ - https://decoding-culture.com/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://psyopcinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Talk Radio (Oliver Stone 5) 15.12.2025 2h 58minContinuing our Oliver Stone series, we analyze the psy-ops within his 1988 film Talk Radio. Starring and co-written by Eric Bogossian, this film is strangely out of place in this era of Stone's filmography, and we discuss why Stone was led to direct such an unusually impersonal film. Based in large part on the career and assassination of liberal shock jock Alan Berg, the film gives us occasion to look at cultural engineering campaigns related to fears of right-wing extremism and anti-semitism. To that end, we also take close looks at the 1988 film Betrayed (directed by Costa-Gavras) and the 2024 film The Order (directed by Justin Kurzel), two other movies that showcase distorted depictions of the events surrounding Berg's murder. Finally, Brett also explains the relevance of Reversal of Fortune and Iron Maze, two other joint production credits for Oliver Stone and Edward Pressman (also a producer of Talk Radio, along with Wall Street and Blue Steel). If you enjoy Psyop Cinema, check out the Decoding Culture Foundation and Cultural Engineering Studies magazine - https://decoding-culture.com/magazine-home/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttps://psyopcinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

The Manchurian Candidate, with William Ramsey 11.10.2025 2hBrett and Thomas have William Ramsey on to discuss The Manchurian Candidate, one of the most iconic cinematic depictions of mind control. We analyze the movie's abundant revelation of the method and misdirection. Other topics of discussion include the deep political context behind this film and similar movies and the strangeness surrounding the JFK assassination and other key events from that time period.NOTE: To spell out the family and social connections from one portion of our discussion, Ruth Paine (born Ruth Hyde) was married to Michael Paine, whose mother was Ruth Forbes Young. Ruth Forbes Young's first marriage was to Michael's father, Lyman Paine, before her second marriage to Arthur M. Young, an inventor and proto-New Age process philosopher. It was Ruth Forbes Young who was a close friend of Mary Bancroft. Ruth Forbes Young was a world federalist and also a great-granddaughter of Ralph Waldo Emerson. Aside from the Bancroft connection, the most interesting thing about Ruth Paine's mother-in-law and her second husband is that Ruth Forbes Young and Arthur Young participated in the Council of Nine channeling seances held by military/intelligence-connected parapsychologist Andrija Puharich.https://www.williamramseyinvestigates.com/https://decoding-culture.com/magazine-home/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttp://psyop-cinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Wall Street (Oliver Stone 4) 04.10.2025 2h 23minWith Wall Street (1987), Oliver Stone continues both his search for the figure of the "good father" and his consideration of the legacy of 1960s idealism, this time through a critique of 1980s economic greed. We discuss those themes and how the movie is largely a limited hangout, with Gordon Gekko functioning as a fall guy for the true money power. Finally, we note a surprising amount of 9/11 predictive programming in the film.If you enjoy Psyop Cinema, check out the Decoding Culture Foundation and Cultural Engineering Studies magazine - https://decoding-culture.com/magazine-home/CORRECTION: The title of Eric Kaufmann's book is The Rise and Fall of Anglo-Americahttps://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttp://psyop-cinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

True Detective Season 3, with Steven DeLay 18.09.2025 2h 52minThomas and Steven return to True Detective, analyzing season 3, where the series goes full psyop. Despite the positive and ambiguous qualities of the first two seasons, this one is filled with MK-culture tropes, featuring a narrative that blends mind control subtext with anti-conspiratorial misdirection and audience disorientation. They also discuss the philosophical statement concerning identity implicit within the season's depiction of non-linear temporality and memory loss.https://twitter.com/StevenDeLay4https://stevendelay.com/This Present World: Aphorisms for Knowing Godhttps://www.amazon.com/This-Present-World-Aphorisms-Knowing/dp/B0FK2YN5NG/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttp://psyop-cinema.com/thomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Labyrinth (Monarch 15), Preview 07.08.2025 6minA section analyzing David Bowie, from the 15th installment of Brett's Patreon-exclusive series on Monarch films. Full description of the episode below, along with our Patreon link, if you're interested in the full episode. In this 15th installment in the Monarch series, Brett delves into the Jim Henson-directed children’s film Labyrinth (1986)—a film so saturated with Monarch content that it serves as a paradigm of Monarch cinema in general. The episode opens with a close look at the career of Monarch superstar Jennifer Connelly, including two other full-on Monarch films she starred in during the 1980s: Phenomena (1985) and Ballet (1989). Additionally, Brett examines the occult career of David Bowie (who plays the Goblin King in Labyrinth); he discusses Jim Henson’s collaborations with the federal government (including the CIA-linked United States Information Agency), as well as reexamining Henson’s sudden death at age 53; and he uncovers some stunning revelations by an entertainment industry insider and professed victim of Monarch abuse that relate to the plot of the film. Fritz Springmeier and Cisco Wheeler devote an entire section of their Illuminati Formula book to this film, and Brett combs over their analysis, while drawing some wider conclusions about the function of Labyrinth and other 1980s Monarch films geared toward children.https://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemaIf you enjoy Psyop Cinema, check out the Decoding Culture Foundation and Cultural Engineering Studies magazine - https://decoding-culture.com/magazine-home/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttp://psyop-cinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Platoon (Oliver Stone 3) 31.07.2025 1h 52minContinuing our Oliver Stone series, we turn to Platoon (1986), the film that established Stone as a superstar director and inaugurated the most celebrated phase of his career, revolving around the ghosts of the 1960s. Brett discusses the reception of Platoon in terms of the cultural politics of New Hollywood and of the Reagan era, and he considers the real reasons for the emergence of the Vietnam film at this time. He also takes a closer look at Hemdale, the sus production company behind this and Stone’s previous effort, and he offers some personal reflections on the film’s legacy. Thomas discusses the neo-shamanic, countercultural spirituality invested in the Willem Dafoe character and offers an analysis of the “two fathers” theme that would come to define Stone’s work. NASA and Hollywood, Part 2 (on William Ramsey Investigates) 24.07.2025 1hIn his latest appearance on William Ramsey Investigates, Brett discusses Part 2 of his Hollywood-NASA research report, which appeared this June in the second issue of Cultural Engineering Studies. After giving an overview of his groundbreaking research on the topic, Brett supports his conclusion that NASA’s partnership with the entertainment industry has always been a globalist cultural engineering operation. William and Brett also talk about Arthur C. Clarke’s central role in coordinating NASA support for the production of Kubrick’s 2001, and Brett reveals never-before-seen information from the Kubrick Archive in London, offering new insights into the Luciferian-transhumanist religiosity at the heart of the film. Finally, Brett touches on the disturbing trauma-based mind control subtexts of NASA-supported children’s films from the 1980s, including Flight of the Navigator, as well as NASA’s ongoing promotion of the moon hoax theory (in movies like the recent Fly Me to the Moon) as a form of psychological warfare.https://decoding-culture.com/magazine-home/https://www.williamramseyinvestigates.com/https://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttp://psyop-cinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Drive, with Steven DeLay 22.07.2025 1h 47minSteven DeLay joins Thomas for a conversation about the 2011 film Drive, directed by Nicolas Winding Refn and starring Ryan Gosling. Analyzing the subversive and psyop-heavy intentions behind the movie, they conclude that Drive retains some profoundly redemptive qualities despite those designs. The Writer With No Hands, with Matthew Alford (on William Ramsey Investigates) 23.06.2025 1h 2minBrett recently made an appearance on William Ramsey Investigates with top Hollywood-DC researcher and writer Matthew Alford to discuss the murder of deep state-connected Hollywood screenwriter Gary DeVore. Brett interviewed Alford about his 2016 book on the DeVore case—The Writer with No Hands—for the latest issue of Cultural Engineering Studies. The discussion on the show touches on Hollywood’s vast relationship to the federal government and the clandestine world more broadly, as well as the history and challenges of using FOIA (the Freedom of Information Act) to obtain documents from the government regarding its collaborations with the entertainment industry.Note: The livestream of this conversation experienced some audio issues, such issues have been edited out as much as possible https://drmattalford.substack.com/https://www.youtube.com/@DrMatthewAlfordhttps://www.amazon.com/Writer-No-Hands-Pocket-sized/dp/1530649870/https://www.williamramseyinvestigates.com/https://decoding-culture.com/cultural-engineering-studies-issue-2/https://decoding-culture.com/cultural-engineering-studies-issue-2/#interview-with-matthew-alfordhttps://twitter.com/CinemaPsyophttps://www.patreon.com/PsyopCinemahttp://psyop-cinema.com/https://linktr.ee/psyopcinemathomas-psyopcinema@protonmail.combrett-psyopcinema@protonmail.com

Fantasy Mind Control, with Monarch Survivor Carrie Olaje 21.06.2025 2h 45minA discussion with Carrie Olaje, a survivor of ritual abuse and trauma-based mind control. Carrie provides names, dates, and locations, as she describes how she was primed from a young age for Monarch slavery, with a former Sergeant Major of the US Army as her handler. She and Brett talk about the nature and history of the cryptocratic cult, as well as the question of possible intentional disinfo within the testimony of certain Monarch survivors. Fantasy themes and imagery featured heavily within the mind control abuse Carrie underwent, so we analyze four strange animated fantasy films that she reports were used as tools by programmers. Thomas talks to Carrie about Rankin and Bass Studio's animated films The Hobbit (1977) and Return of the King (1980), as well as Ralph Bakshi's infamous The Lord of the Rings (1978), before Brett gives a detailed analysis of the Monarch film The Last Unicorn (1982). Thomas also provides some thoughts on the spiritual pitfalls of the fantasy genre, the psy-op function of different kinds of fantasy films, and the surprising ideological agenda behind these animated movies. Enemy of the State, with Steven DeLay (Surveillance Cinema 1) 28.05.2025 3h 41minBrett, Thomas, and Steven have a comprehensive discussion of the 1998 Tony Scott film Enemy of the State, a movie with an underrated amount of conspiratorial significance. Scott is among the all-time best examples of intimate Hollywood/DC collaborations, and the film is the paradigmatic instance of predictive programming, for both 9/11 and the rise of the surveillance state. Joker: Folie à Deux 25.04.2025 1h 32minOur long-awaited analysis of Joker: Folie à Deux, a film so sadistic that even mainstream critics noted its contempt for its audience. In one of the ultimate exercises in Hollywood hypocrisy, the movie seeks to reinforce the psy-op of the 2019 film while simultaneously morally condemning the audience for falling for that psy-op. We analyze the movie's demonological subtext and discuss how Folie à Deux is interestingly distinct from both standard Joker Cycle films and from overt Hollywood goddess worship. Set in New Orleans in 1955, the film is a Faustian tale about the disappearance of a singer named Johnny Favorite, giving us the chance to consider the occult origins of the modern music industry at length. A Satanic film about Satanic pacts, Angel Heart is filled with revelation of the method designed to disorient and destabilize its audience and contains abundant subtext about how the MK-entertainment industry creates IMSAs (Illuminati Mind Slave Artists).
