  There are preachers and Christians who believe that it is not always God’s will to heal. Some even believe that people get sick because God has ordered so by His sovereignty. The interesting thing is that such folks still go to the doctor so to get rid of the disease which they have claimed to be God’s will. They never realize that they are contradicting themselves. Why go to the doctor to take away that which you say is God’s will? As a Christian, are not you supposed to be living in God’s will?

  John 10:10KJV The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  The Joy of Christmas, the celebration of the birth of the Lord Jesus is in what it means for you as a Christian. It is not in the feasting but in the reason for the season. Why was He born? The average answer you will get from many Christians is that Jesus came to die for me on the cross. This is nice, it’s true that He died on the cross but till the Christian fully understands the reason for His dying on the cross and resurrecting on the third day, the true essence of Christmas is lost. We find the answer from the mouth of the Lord Himself, He says “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly” Christmas therefore is a celebration of a life, it is called Eternal life Paul says, “In the hope of eternal life, which God, who does not lie, promised before the beginning of time,and which now at his appointed season he has brought to light through the preaching entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior,...Titus 1:2-3NIV” God had already promised this life to man even before time began but brought it forth through the resurrection of Jesus. Beloved! Understand that Adam even before he sinned didn’t have this life that we are talking about. What then is Eternal life? The traditional Christian has been taught that Eternal life means living forever, that it is a life they will receive when they go to Heaven. This is not accurate. If you are a Christian, you already have Eternal life. Plants have plant life, animals have the animal life, the ordinary man has the normal human life but God too has His own type and quality of life. Actually, He is that life itself. The life, which God has as God, is what is termed Eternal life. Jesus said, “For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself....John 5:26NIV” John the Apostle was there when Jesus made this statement. This same John long after Jesus had ascended into Heaven and now having understood very well who the Christian is wrote to the Church and said, “ And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life....1 John 5:11-13NIV” John says that he wants you the Christian to know that you have Eternal life, the same life which was in the Son Jesus when He walked on this Earth. It’s not something to have in the future. You have it now. Don’t define yourself by the outward for inside you are the very life of God but as John points out, it is knowing that you have it that blesses you. It is this life that made Paul immune to serpent bite, not because he was an Apostle. It’s also because of this life that every Christian has received that made Jesus say, “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well....Mark 16:17 -18 NIV” It’s this life that puts you above satan and his devils. It’s this life that satan sought after but couldn’t attain because his motive was borne out of evil and pride. You and I have received it graciously. You can’t be living in sin and unrighteousness when you have this life because the life empowers you to do what is right. Therefore as you celebrate Christmas, celebrate the reason for the season. Celebrate the life that puts you over the depraved life of the ordinary human . Merry Christmas!

  If ignorant preachers and agents of the Devil take some Christians to the lake of fire, it will be their own doing. There are Christians who may brand some ministers as unloving just because they correct and rebuke them. Those that allow them to live anyhow in the name of Grace are seen as the true messengers of the Gospel. They have bought into an erroneous Gospel branded as “once saved always saved”. This message propagates an impression that, since the Lord Jesus has paid for all sins, past, present and future, sin doesn’t matter anymore. This is to say that, no matter how you live in Christ, you will escape the second death and many have bought into that notion, the results being the fornication, adultery, homosexuality and all manner of sins seen in the present day Church. Do such ministers understand Grace than Jesus Himself? Do you understand Grace than the Lord Himself, who personally warned the seven churches in Asia against such things? Who told them to repent from fornication, adultery, imperfect works or stand having their names been blot out from the book of life. “He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches..... Revelation 3:5-6KJV” The Master says, “Hear what the Spirit says to the Churches”. Why were they asked to overcome? “Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.... Revelation 3:3KJV” Their works were not perfect before God. Contrary to the preachers of these days, Jesus didn’t say that works are not important because of faith. He told the Church at Sardis, “Your works are not perfect before God” Many had defiled their garments of righteousness by their way of life and hence were not worthy “Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.... Revelation 3:4KJV” Are you worthy? Apparently, contrary to the extreme Grace preachers, Works of faith are extremely important. It’s the same thing that James reiterated when he said, “But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?....James 2:20KJV” James says, its only a foolish Christian who will think that works is not important because of faith. They go hand in hand, “For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also” The message of a man truly sent from God will always measure up to His Word. Does the message of those preachers measure up to the Words of Jesus that He instructed John to write to the seven churches? You be the judge. Don’t follow blind guides to lead you to hell. Grace doesn’t mean unrighteousness is acceptable. Grace means empowerment for righteousness. God bless you!

  So when He said, “I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me early. Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight...”, what did He mean? Jesus came to Israel and they rejected the day of their visitation, they rejected Him. So He went back to heaven, to his place after the ascension but during the great tribulation, which will be a time of Israel’s affliction, they will acknowledge the Messiah, they will acknowledge Jesus. How long will it take from His ascension to the time in the great tribulation where they will acknowledge Him, the same time that will mark the second coming of Jesus and the resurrection of the dead in Christ? It will take two days, which by the Scriptural principle of 1 day is a 1000 years translates to 2000 years. So the second return of Jesus is 2000 years from the ascension after His death. At the beginning of the third day from His ascension, which is the millennium, we start living in His presence (in His sight). He will be here on earth with us. Now 4000 years from creation, the year Jesus was crucified, buried and ascended into the heavens hovers around 29-33AD. So let us say that 4000years from creation is 33AD, it thus mean that the second coming of Jesus at most will be 2033AD, you just have to add 2000 years. If 4000 years from creation is 30AD, it means the return of the great Master is 2030AD.

  The things of God are spiritually understood and without the Holy Ghost, no one can understand the mysteries of the Kingdom. It’s totally impossible without the Holy Spirit. When God says something, you humble yourself to what He has said. To take any other position is pride. Sometimes, there are Christians who act proudly without even knowing. Pride is of the heart. As a Christian, you ought to understand how to walk with God. The things that God sends us to preach may not make sense to the natural or carnal mind but it doesn’t mean they are not true. Man came to meet a fallen world so all his wisdom is based on experiences and observations of his world. This is why truth, which is the Wisdom of God, doesn’t make sense to him. For instance, when you preach to him that Christians ought not be sick, it doesn’t make sense to him because he can attest to many men and Christians alike getting sick and even dying. So that statement becomes unreasonable to him. This is why Paul said, “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” It sounds foolish to him because he or she reasons from the sensual standpoint. That word “natural man” means one driven by the senses, emotions and passions. Its means someone who is very sensitive. Such people are even offended when truth is spoken to them. When a Christian is like that, the Bible refers to him as the carnal man. These are those Paul described as carnal minded Christians in his epistle to the Christians at Rome. He is a Christian yet carnal. They reason out truth from the senses, emotions, passions and experiences. Such a mind the Bible says is an enemy of God . “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be.....Romans 8:7 KJV” God doesn’t hate that individual but He hates that mind hence it will be difficult for such a person to experience the things of the Spirit. It will be difficult for the Holy Ghost to pull through to him. God says that, the reason why the natural man cannot receive the things of God, the reason why they are foolishness to him is that the things of God are spiritual discerned. They are understood through the eyes of the Spirit but natural men reason from their senses, experiences and observations. As a Christian, Let truth be based on the Word of God and the Word of God only. Measure and filter experiences, emotions, observations and everything by the Word of God. This is how to be in the same way as God. The Master said, “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.... John 17:7 KJV” Only what He God says concerning any issue is what is truth. To disregard His Word concerning you in any situation because of emotions, observations, people’s report and experiences is an insult to the only true God. He is the only true God and what He says is final. This is all what faith is about. Sometimes, some Christians think they live in faith when really they are not. Anytime you put experiences, emotions, passions and observations above God’s Word, you are not in faith but “For we live by faith, not by sight....2 Corinthians 5:7KJV”. God bless you!

  Don’t misinterpret the Scripture 14.03.2024 19min

  The Apostle Peter talked about some Christians who misinterpret scriptures to their own loss, to their own peril. Over the years, there have been Christians who when you talk about how serious we should be about the Kingdom work, their response will be the Scripture above “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight” Their understanding and interpretation of the said Scripture is that God expects the Christian to be balanced in life, that to them means that he should well balance the natural life to his spiritual life. They mean that the natural life and career line are as important as the Kingdom work. This is a sensual and wrong interpretation of the Scripture above. The introductory Scripture has nothing at all to do with the interpretation they have given to it. As a Christian, you may interpret God’s Word in your own way just because such an interpretation appeals to your flesh and this is where you need to be careful What does God mean when He says, “A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight”? He is talking about honesty in your dealings with other men. He means be truthful and don’t cheat. Don’t say it cost 200 dollars when really it should cost 100 dollars. This is the meaning of the Scripture; it has nothing to do with balancing your natural life with the spiritual. It has nothing to do with your career being as important as the Kingdom work. Let just consider the same Scripture in other translations “The Lord hates cheating and delights in honesty....Proverbs 11:1 TLB” “A false balance and dishonest business practices are extremely offensive to the Lord, But an accurate scale is His delight......Proverbs 11:1 AMP” “GOD hates cheating in the marketplace; he loves it when business is aboveboard.....Proverbs 11:1 MSG” God says, don’t cheat in your line of work or business. This is what the Scripture means. When you wrongly interpret the said Scripture to God’s children to mean that their career is as important as the Kingdom work, that’s leading them astray. It’s serious since this will lead to that individual not fulfilling his God given destiny on earth. Be careful what you say in the name of God. God has not said that your career is not important. He has not said that people should stay home and not work but He has not said that your career is as important as the Kingdom Work He has given the Christian. A wrong interpretation of the above Scripture has led to Christians doing the Kingdom Work when it suits them. Beloved, many will not tell you this truth You are not on this earth because of your career; you are here because of the Kingdom Work. The career rather is what is the addition therefore you should plan the career around the Kingdom Work and not Vice Versa. This is what leads to one Christian sharing gospel tracts on his way or in a bus to work and another doing that only on holidays or Sundays. Some even do not The former has come to understand that like Jesus he is primarily on earth to do the Father’s work and that is what is first in importance to him. What is of first importance to you? Jesus said, “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God”. Plan earthly things around eternal things and not vice versa. This world including all the careers will very soon pass away. The Master said “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods......Matthew 24:45-47 KJV”
