40. Raising Up the Next Generation (Alessandro Gozzi) 20.04.2026 27pThis episode I heard from Alessandro, who has given so much to dodgeball in Italy. He started Empoli Swarm and is looking to expand dodgeball throughout Tuscany as much as possible. He's also a coach for the national team and heavily involved in youth dodgeball. We covered a lot this episode, and I'm sure I barely scratched the surface. This interview came at such a serendipitous time, and Alessandro was exactly the right person who could answer an important question for a friend. One of the most exciting episodes for me since the podcast began.

39. Student of the Game (Emma) 13.04.2026 15pThis episode I heard from Emma, in Taiwan. She was kind enough to talk to me about how the dodgeball we know is quite new to Taiwan, and how she joined in the first wave of players in 2021.

We discussed the relatively new, but growing, scene in Riyadh, and talked a lot about how much joy dodgeball has brought both of us.Since this episode was recorded, many world events have occurred, and I was able to reach out to Ahmed to check in with him. It was a reminder that this sport is able to connect us to people all over the world, which makes distant events on the other side of the globe all the more real.
