  How Angel Magic Brought Us the Internet - The Steganographia of Trithemius 28.09.2026 1ó 19p

  Did Angel Magic give us the Internet? In around 1499 Johann Trithemius began combining alchemical theory, astrology, the combatory arts and angel magic into a vast occult system by which to rapidly transmit information, acquire languages, induce prophecy and illuminate the soul. He called this occult science the Ars Steganographia and he was condemned for it. Despite rumors that he was a vile necromancer, Trithemius would continue his studies: founding arcane modern cryptology, tutoring Agrippa as he developed the Occult Philosophy, inspiring the development of the Lesser Key of Solomon, uncovering the astral cycles of history and much more.   Gnostic Baptism Ritual from the Book of Jeu - Pistis Sophia - Nag Hammadi Library - Gnosticism 27.09.2026 39p

  While texts from the Nag Hammadi library have revolutionized our understanding of Gnosticism, we still know very little about just how Gnosticism was practiced in the ancient world. What were their rituals, hymns, gatherings, and daily life like? In this episode of Esoterica we explore a Gnostic Baptism ritual found in the Bruce Codex Book of Jeu.   Medieval Mystical Women - The Beguines - Hadewijch Mechthild of Magdeburg and Marguerite Porete 27.09.2026 23p

  The typical view of the middle ages is one of cultural, intellectual and religious stagnation. This is hardly the truth. The European Middle ages were marked by innovations at almost every cultural register including spirituality. This episode explores the radical and probing mystical spirituality of the Beguines, a lay culture of women who worked in the skilled trades, publicly preached, aided the poor and destitute, all as part of their own autonomous spiritual vocation. These women were also extraordinary mystics and theologians.
