    A lot of things happened over the last 72 hours. The Dallas Stars lost goaltender Rémi Poirier on Sunday, as the number three goalie on their depth chart was claimed off waivers by the New Jersey Devils. Also on Sunday, the team placed veteran forward Colin Blackwell on waivers. He cleared on Monday and he was sent to the AHL’s Texas Stars, along with forward Arttu Hyry, as the team decided to keep a seventh defenseman on the Opening Night Roster rather than risk putting Kyle Capobianco on waivers in order to keep 13 forwards. All this was going down while the Stars were on a players-only team bonding trip in Traverse City, Michigan. They will return to Texas for practices in Frisco on Wednesday and Thursday before opening their 2026-27 regular season schedule at home on Friday, October 2nd against the St. Louis Blues (8 p.m. CT). In addition to that news, today’s show is centered around our 3rd Annual DLLS NHL Season Predictions, where Luds, Sam and Owen will reveal their picks for the four regular season division winners, who emerges in the playoffs to win the Eastern and Western Conferences and who will win the Stanley Cup.
