  • From Telecom Engineer to Leadership Coach: Why Vulnerability Wins 05.10.2026 19p
Special "Business Revenue Leak Checklist" offer free at http://www.mrse.co/leak.What happens when a telecom engineer realizes technology upgrades aren't his passion? Leadership coach Albert Cervelló Griso shares his pivot from deploying networks at Cisco to helping technical leaders develop human skills. Discover why vulnerability is the key to team connection.Guest Bio:Albert Cervelló Griso was following the path that was expected of him, which he assumed would make him happy. He had studied for a degree, worked for a large multinational, travelled the world, and earned a good salary. He had a place to live, a car, and a significant other. However, upon turning 30 and despite having social status and a good position as a Telecommunications Engineer at one of the best technology companies in the world, he began to feel lost, unmotivated, and anxious. From a young age, Albert had always been interested in reading self-help and leadership books, in particular, those offering advice on how to feel better and improve oneself. The truth is, like most people, after so many years at school and university, he not only ended up with a degree, but also a great capacity to memorise. Unfortunately, he did not know himself; he did not know what he liked, what he was good at, or what his purpose in life was. He had always been driven by something that had a clear professional outlet. He did not know what emotions were, let alone how to manage conflict, anxiety, and personal relationships. It was in early 2011 when Albert discovered coaching and embarked on his journey of personal and professional transformation. By following his purpose, aligning his values and strengths, and learning how to manage his emotions, he was finally able to focus on what fulfilled him and made him feel good: personal and organisational development, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Connect with Albert Cervelló GrisoLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/albertcervello/Website: https://albertcervello.com/Resources or websites mentioned in this episode:MiraseeCredits:Host: Meredith EisenbergEditor: Marvin Del RosarioExecutive Producer: Danny InyTo catch the great episodes coming up on Making It, please follow us on Mirasee FM's YouTube channel or your favorite podcast player. • Why AUDHD Entrepreneurs Need Different Business Strategies to Thrive 25.09.2026 29p
Special "Business Revenue Leak Checklist" offer free at http://www.mrse.co/leak.What happens when conventional business advice actually works against your neurodivergent brain? Alex Owen-Hill shares how his AUDHD diagnosis transformed his business strategy—revealing why AUDHD entrepreneurs need to hire help earlier, embrace hyperfixation cycles, and work inside their comfort zone.Guest Bio:Alex Owen-Hill probably shouldn't have a bio like this. Bios like this are supposed to tell you what someone does, who they help, and why they're "The Best" in language that sounds impressive, polished, and businessy… but that could be said by almost anyone and could frankly be spat out by an AI. Which is exactly the opposite of Alex's values and mission: helping people sound more like their glorious, unique selves. Now for a bunch of impressive-sounding labels: Voice and speaker coach, voice researcher, physical comedian, and professional clown, trained at the notoriously demanding École Philippe Gaulier, where being boring is the highest unforgivable sin. A plethora of voice certifications including Gender-Affirming Voice Work, Emotional Vocal Expression, and Neuroscience and Voice. Also currently completing an MA in Voice research specialising in Neurodivergent Voice and Workplace Masking. As an ADHD-autistic, Alex creates clown shows about neurodivergence and difference. In business, Alex's work has always been a bridge between the authentic world of performers and the "normal" business world. A PhD in robotics from a previous life has led to over a decade of experience in content marketing and strategy for tech businesses… an industry where companies increasingly all sound exactly like each other. For years, trying to follow the right business advice was actively working against Alex's brain and thwarted business growth. All the frameworks, funnels, and best-practice teachings deeply violated the values and mission. It's only when Alex decided to rebel against the business advice that things started to align…Connect with Alex Owen-HillLinkedIn: http://www.linkedin.com/in/alexowenhillWebsite: https://alexowenhill.co.uk/Resources or websites mentioned in this episode:MiraseeCredits:Host: Meredith EisenbergEditor: Marvin Del RosarioExecutive Producer: Danny InyTo catch the great episodes coming up on Making It, please follow us on Mirasee FM's YouTube channel or your favorite podcast player. • How First-Generation Immigrants Can Build Careers Abroad With Confidence 16.09.2026 25p
Special "Business Revenue Leak Checklist" offer free at http://www.mrse.co/leak.What does it take for first-generation immigrants to build thriving careers in a new country? Ragda Tabet shares how she helps expat professionals overcome fear, find visibility, and stop blending in. Learn why owning your unique identity is the key to standing out abroad.Guest Bio:Ragda Tabet is the founder of Shift to Strategic and a Career Strategist who helps immigrant and first-generation women in corporate get visible, get valued, and stop feeling “lucky to be here.”Her story starts in Dubai, where she was born and raised as a first-generation immigrant. Over nine years at AXA, one of the world’s largest insurers, she climbed from customer service agent to corporate communications manager — learning firsthand that hard work alone doesn’t get you seen. It was a near-layoff experience, where her own manager told her “Raghda, they don’t know you,” that taught her the most important career lesson she carries today: performance without visibility is invisibility. In her thirties, Ragda moved to Sweden as a trailing partner with no network, no local language, and no plan other than to start over. She learned Swedish from scratch, became a mother of two, went back to school, and re-entered the workforce in a country where trust and relationships come before credentials. When she finally landed a role that checked every box — flexible, stable, well-paid — she left it after four months because she recognized a pattern: the system wasn’t going to make space for someone like her. That decision led her to build Shift to Strategic, where she now works 1:1 with immigrant and first-generation women who are talented, hardworking, and invisible at work — not because they aren’t enough, but because their fears are keeping them from the version of themselves they’re meant to be.Ragda has been featured on Swedish National Radio, where she almost turned down the opportunity because of her accent — then went on air anyway, because she decided her voice mattered more than sounding perfect. That moment captures everything she stands for: you don’t need to be flawless to be seen. You need to be heard.Connect with Ragda TabeteLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ragda-tabet/Resources or websites mentioned in this episode:MiraseeCredits:Host: Meredith EisenbergEditor: Marvin Del RosarioExecutive Producer: Danny InyTo catch the great episodes coming up on Making It, please follow us on Mirasee FM's YouTube channel or your favorite podcast player.
