Don't Waste Your Years of Plenty 27.09.2026 41pGod gives us years of plenty to prepare for the lean years ahead, not to squander on selfish desires and temporary pleasures. Joseph stored Egypt's abundant harvests so that people could survive the coming famine, and that same wisdom applies to both our material and spiritual lives. While we have health, strength, resources, and people who can teach and encourage us, we need to gather what will sustain us when those advantages are gone. Saving little by little, storing the truth of God's Word in our hearts, and cultivating kindness and love in our relationships are all part of faithful stewardship. Parents, teachers, and spiritual leaders will not always be available, so we must treasure their instruction rather than assume there will always be another opportunity to listen. What we lay in store is not merely for ourselves, but also for those who will need our help. Gratitude, self-denial, and diligence make the years of plenty fruitful. Every passing day is one less opportunity to prepare, and our greatest investment is in what will sustain our souls, bless others, and endure for eternity. -
Our Unchanging God 27.09.2026 51pGod never changes, even though everything around us is constantly changing. People grow older, loved ones pass away, earthly possessions decay, and familiar ways of life disappear, but God's character, love, truth, and promises remain the same. The stability our hearts long for cannot be found in this passing world, but in Him. His Word and His established order are not ours to alter according to changing tastes and opinions. Our calling is to remain steadfast in His truth while growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Heaven will bring an end to the wearying changes that cause sorrow, confusion, sickness, and loss. God's people will enjoy everlasting rest and complete contentment in His presence, where nothing will decay, no one will die, and the goodness of life with Him will never pass away. Until then, we can trust His unchanging hand and build our hope on things eternal. -
Setting Light By Father and Mother 23.09.2026 50pHonoring father and mother is a lifelong command from God, carrying a promise of blessing and a serious responsibility to show respect, gratitude, and practical care. To "set light by" parents is to treat them with contempt, dismiss their worth, or regard their needs as an unwanted burden. Religious gifts, church attendance, and outward devotion cannot replace obedience to this command. Honor does not require pretending that parents have never done wrong, but their failures do not excuse personal wrongdoing or remove each person's accountability before God. Forgiveness and a refusal to act out of bitterness are essential, even in difficult family relationships. Children need to be taught this respect from their earliest years, and that responsibility continues into adulthood, especially when aging parents need care and assistance. Honoring parents is a foundational part of love and order in the home and society. God takes both its observance and its violation seriously, and genuine love for Him must reach beyond religious words into the way parents are treated. -
God Can Make You Forget 20.09.2026 54pJoseph's naming of Manasseh and Ephraim shows how God brought him through years of injustice, slavery, and imprisonment into a life of peace, purpose, and fruitfulness. Manasseh means God made him forget, not by erasing the past, but by freeing him from rehearsing the bitterness, hurt, and loss that had plagued his mind. Ephraim means God made him fruitful, proving that Joseph's life was not wasted in the dungeon and that his suffering had prepared him to save and bless others. The way forward after deep hurt is not to keep circling the past in sorrow, self-pity, or bitterness, but to trust God, stop remembering what cannot be changed, and look ahead to the purpose He still has. Forgetfulness had to come before fruitfulness, and Joseph's life shows that God can restore the years that seemed lost and make a wounded life useful, fruitful, and full of blessing. -
Do Not Be Offended 13.09.2026 50pJesus warned His disciples ahead of time so they would not stumble, quit, or be stopped when persecution came. John 16 shows that the hatred they would face would not only come from the openly wicked world, but also from religious people who believed they were serving God while rejecting Christ and harming His followers. The word "offended" means more than having hurt feelings; it means being hindered, caused to stumble, or stopped in the way. Real faith must be grounded in the words of Jesus so it can endure when trouble, rejection, slander, misunderstanding, or persecution comes. True believers will continue in Christ because they belong to Him, abide in Him, and cannot be separated from Him, even when the world and false religion oppose them. Believers must know what Jesus said, expect tribulation, refuse to quit over hurt or opposition, and let their light shine faithfully in a world that hates the truth. -
True Worship 02.09.2026 48pWe are shown through Jesus' conversation with the woman at the well that true worship must be centered on the Father and grounded in both spirit and truth. Many people are willing to talk about worship and religion while avoiding the truth about their sin, just as the woman shifted the conversation from her immoral life to the question of where to worship. Jesus did not allow her diversion to take control, but lovingly and wisely brought her face to face with the truth about herself, her false worship, and her need for God. Believers must not be deceived with this common modern type of worship that is built only on emotion, music, tradition, or religious excitement, and seek true worship that responds to the truth of God's Word through the witness of the Holy Spirit. -
Hated For His Name's Sake 30.08.2026 59pJesus makes it as clear as possible that if we truly belong to Christ, the world will hate us because it hated Him first. John 15 makes it clear that there are only two spiritual camps: those who belong to Christ and those who belong to the world, and that a real disciple of Christ will not fit comfortably into a world that hates God, righteousness, and truth. Kindness, good works, and religious profession will not remove the reproach of Christ, because the world's hatred is ultimately against Jesus Himself and all who bear His name. The message calls us to openly confess Christ, live unashamed of His name, bear His reproach faithfully, and remember that whatever we suffer for Him now will be worth it when we stand before Him. -
Everyday Evangelism 26.08.2026 48pChrist's dealing with the woman at the well shows believers how to speak to souls wisely, personally, and with God at the center. From John 4 we see that true evangelism often happens in ordinary daily encounters, not in organized campaigns, and that believers should be ready to speak first, use everyday circumstances as a doorway, and turn the conversation toward God and eternal things. We can see how Jesus moved the woman from earthly thoughts about water and daily burdens to the deeper need of her soul, eventually bringing her sin into the light without a careless or confrontational approach. Believers need to be filled with the Word of God, alert to divine appointments, willing to speak a good word for the Lord, and careful to let God expose the heart so sinners may come face to face with Him, their sin, and the living water only Christ can give. -
Jesus Loves Me This I Know 23.08.2026 1ó 1pTo love God supremely is the fundamental duty of man, as well as the foundation of true salvation, obedience, and Christian living. From John 15:9 and other scriptures, the Bible teaches that Christ loves His people as the Father loves Him, and He told us to "continue in his love." Real love is not merely emotion, religious zeal, loyalty, or words, but a life that gives itself to God in obedience and sacrifice. Love is not love unless it puts to death the selfish, self-centered heart, and esteems God and others more than ourselves. Do not be deceived by your emotional feelings toward God if you are living in disobedience to his Word. Love lives only in deeds, and the kind of love God commands from us is not feelings and emotion, but recognizing his greatness and goodness and laying down our lives for Him. -
Salvation Begins With God 19.08.2026 44pUsing Jesus' encounter with the woman at the well in John 4, we learn that the right way to speak to someone about salvation is to begin with God Himself, as Jesus did when He turned the woman's attention away from herself and toward who He was. This man-centered gospel that presents Christ mainly as the answer to personal problems, while leaving self, sin, repentance, and the fear of God untouched is deceiving multitudes of people who will perish as a result. We must learn from Christ's example, put God first in witnessing, reject selfish forms of religion and worship, and remember that true salvation requires a sinner to be brought face to face with God, His authority, and His call to repentance. -
Why? 16.08.2026 56pAsking "why" is a profound part of our human reasoning and spiritual growth. There is a difference between sincerely seeking understanding and using the question to complain against or resist God's sovereignty. We see many examples where God in the Old Testament, and Jesus in the New Testament, asked "why?" When God asks "why?" we see that these questions are meant to expose unbelief, confront fear, and lead us toward repentance. God is never searching for information when He asks why, rather, God uses the question to reveal the condition of our hearts and call us to trust His perfect will. We must learn to rest in God's character and wisdom, accepting that some mysteries belong to Him alone while giving ourselves to the truths He has clearly revealed. -
The Lord Jehovah Is My Song 12.08.2026 40pMusic is a divine means of communication, created by God to speak directly to the heart, soul, and spirit in a way that words do not. Using Isaiah 12:2 and the truth that "the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song," the message teaches that music is woven into God's creation and even reflects biblical patterns of completion, new beginnings, and the hope of redemption. The sermon connects the musical scale's movement from beginning to completion with Christ as Alpha and Omega, showing that just as music longs for resolution, creation itself points beyond this present world to the new heaven, new earth, and the reign of Christ. It calls believers to see music as holy rather than common, to recognize its witness to God's truth, and to take comfort that the end of this present world is not despair, but the beginning of all things made new in Christ. -
Are Your Trespasses Forgiven? 09.08.2026 50pTrue repentance must deal not only with sins against God, but also with trespasses against other people. From Luke 17, Matthew 18, and other scriptures, we learn that trespasses involve the harm, offense, injury, or dishonor we bring upon others, and that they cannot simply be ignored while claiming to be right with God. Forgiveness, restitution, humility, and reconciliation are necessary parts of walking in love, because love works no ill to its neighbor and seeks peace wherever possible. We, as believers, need to examine whether we have wronged others, seek forgiveness where needed, forgive those who have trespassed against us, and live as new creatures who fear God, love others, and stop walking carelessly over the lives of people around them. -
The Moral Power of Music 05.08.2026 48pMusic is not morally neutral, but has a powerful influence on the heart, mind, body, emotions, and character of those who hear it. According to Ephesians 5:10-11 believers must prove what is acceptable unto the Lord and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, especially in the music used for worship. Godly music should be marked by order, melody, harmony, reverence, and spiritual purpose, while fleshly and worldly music appeals to the body, stirs carnal passions, and will lead the church away from holiness and truth. It is critical, in this late hour, to exercise careful discernment, especially in the house of God, so that music offered in worship honors the Lord rather than conforming to the spirit and appetites of the world. -
Abide In Me 02.08.2026 52pAbiding in Christ is not an occasional or partial connection, but a continual life of dependence, obedience, and fellowship with Him. From John 15, Christ is the vine, believers are the branches, and all spiritual life, fruitfulness, cleansing, and strength come through Him and His words abiding in believers. The promise of answered prayer is not a blank check for selfish desires, but God's provision for those who remain in Christ and bear fruit for His glory. To abide in Christ is full surrender to the Lord Jesus, separation from the world, faithfulness to His Word, and a life that proves connection to Christ by abiding in Him and bearing lasting fruit. -
Why Music Matters 29.07.2026 59pMusic matters in the worship of God, because it has a real effect on the heart, mind, spirit, and character of those who hear it. The worship in God's house should be marked by order, unity, reverence, truth, and one sound of praise to the Lord, not by the disorder, emotionalism, worldliness, and entertainment spirit that has entered many churches through contemporary music. Not all music is appropriate or acceptable for worship, and we must judge both the words and the structure of the music by whether it honors Christ, promotes holiness - not just how it makes us feel. We must worship God in spirit and in truth, refuse to follow the current of this generation, and seek to honor the Lord with music that is holy, reverent, and pleasing in His sight. Worldly, fleshly music will not do, and is not acceptable to God. -
O Timothy 26.07.2026 54p"O Timothy!" This was Paul's earnest plea with the young man following in his footsteps. We need to hear that plea today as Paul crying out to each of us saying the same thing he said to Timothy. We must steadfastly hold onto the faith and the Word of God entrusted to us, and not yield to the seductive influence of worldly philosophies and false science. Salvation and the Word of God are immutable foundations that must not be compromised or altered by cultural shifts or deceptive teachings. Compare the contrast between the stability of biblical authority with the transient nature of modern media and societal trends, which often distract from eternal truths. Believers are called to prove all things, actively avoiding profane distractions and testing all things against Scripture to maintain their spiritual integrity. Remaining faithful to these core doctrines ensures survival in perilous times and honors God's unchanging character. -
Joy Inspires Hope 19.07.2026 53pThe fruit of the Spirit is not merely something to quote, but something that should be evident in our daily lives, especially in love, joy, and peace. Joy is not just a passing emotion or outward cheerfulness, but a settled state of heart that comes from faith, hope, and love in the Lord. Murmuring, complaining, self-pity, and gloom hinder our testimony and discourage those around us, while a joyful spirit refreshes others and points them to Christ. Therefore, we must examine ourselves honestly, lay aside the habits that steal our joy, and seek to live as lights in this dark world with the joy of the Lord showing in our countenance, conversation, and conduct. -
Counting the Cost of Leaving the Old Paths 15.07.2026 59pIn this Scripture God calls His people to stand in the ways, ask for the old paths, and walk in the good way where there is rest for the soul. When Christians abandon the tried and proven ways of worship, preaching, music, reverence, and separation from the world, they seldom return, and their children are carried even farther away from the truth. True worship must be acceptable to God, rooted in spirit and truth, and separated from the sensual, worldly, and profane influences that appeal to the flesh rather than honor the Lord. Therefore, we must consider the true cost of leaving the old paths, hold fast to what has been delivered to us, and preserve for the next generation a reverent, holy, Bible-centered way that pleases God. -
Abiding in Christ 12.07.2026 1ó 5pAbiding in Christ is not merely a doctrine to explain, but a living relationship of faithfulness, love, and obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus plainly taught that the branch which does not abide in Him will wither and be cast away, showing that no one can truly belong to Christ while continuing in unfaithfulness, worldliness, and sin. We learn that salvation is not earned by works, yet the grace of God that saves us also changes us, teaches us to deny ungodliness, and to live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Therefore, we must look to the real Jesus of the Bible, give ourselves wholly to Him, walk in His light, and let His love loosen the hold this world has on our hearts.
