Alyese talks about a recent struggle she had in this area in her own life and how dark it got in secret before she surrendered to God. Life will inevitably get busy. In those seasons, do we run to God? Or do we run to everything else? We talk about the importance of running to God with our life because we can't carry the weight of it on our own shoulders. We may think we can live our life on our own for a while, but eventually it will bury us and we will find ourselves running to things we didn't want to be doing. The devil will always offer counterfeit comfort, peace, joy, but it always delivers emptiness and bondage. We also discuss how God uses wives to build up their husbands to be strong men of God, as is the case in our marriage. The wife has the power to build up her husband or tear him down.
