We often assume our emotions and reactions reflect the truth of the present moment. When we’re triggered, our system is essentially “time traveling” back to the past, drawing on painful, unresolved experiences to inform how we interpret and respond to the present.
  • How Do I Know if I Should Leave or Stay In a Relationship? 21.07.2026 56min
Should you stay in your relationship or leave? It's one of the most common questions people ask when romantic partnerships become difficult. And even though it’s natural to turn to other people for advice, the truth is that no one else can answer that question for you. Only your adult self knows whether it’s time to leave. The challenge is that younger protective parts often show up in our relationships, influencing these decisions out of fear or self-protection.
