  • The Snare is Broken 01.09.2026 3min
“The Snare Is Broken” is based on Psalm 124, a song of deliverance for God’s people when escape seems impossible. From Israel’s rescue in the past to the final conflict over worship, the song reminds us that our safety is not found in human power, but in the Lord who made heaven and earth. When every earthly way seems closed, God can still make a way—and when the snare is finally broken, His faithful people will declare, “We have escaped!”*** THE SNARE IS BROKENSong of Ascents #5 — Psalm 124Lyrics by Zeres Vitto Copyright 2026 Zeres Vitto. All Rights Reserved.[Verse 1 — The Enemy Rises]Had the Lord not stood beside us When our enemies arose, They would swallow us in anger, Floods would rise and sweep us under. When the waves closed in around us, And no pathway could be seen, Still the Lord remained beside us— He would never leave His own.[Verse 2 — The Snare Is Broken]Like a bird caught by the hunter, We were trapped with no way out; Like the prey before the lion, There was nowhere left to run. But the Lord would not forsake us, He would not give us as prey; Then the snare was torn and broken— And the bird could fly away![Chorus 1 — Our Help Is the Lord]WHEN RAGING WATERS RISE AROUND US, AND PHARAOH’S ARMIES CLOSE BEHIND, The God who made a path through waters Will make a way where none can see! OUR HELP IS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD— HE MAKES A WAY! WE SHALL BE FREE![Verse 3 — Who Is Israel?]God once led His ancient people Through the sea and desert land; Now in Christ He calls all people From each nation, tribe, and tongue. Not by blood or earthly borders— Those in Christ become His own; Walking onward as His people, Pilgrims on the journey home.[Verse 4 — The Final Snare]Soon the world will face a choice: Whom will we obey and trust? When false worship is commanded, Will we follow God or man? Though the whole world stands against us, We will follow Christ alone— Keeping all that God commanded, Holding to the faith of Jesus.[Chorus 2 — Worship the Creator]WORSHIP GOD, THE GREAT CREATOR! KEEP HIS HOLY SABBATH DAY! When each voice demands our worship, We will stand upon His Word! Fear God and give Him glory— WORSHIP HIM WHO MADE US ALL![Verse 5 — The Creator Delivers]When the darkest hour has fallen, When all earthly hope seems gone, Michael stands for all His people; God will not forsake His own. Every snare at last is broken, Every captive soul set free; Lift your eyes—the Lord is coming! Our Deliverer we shall see![Climax & Appeal — Choose Today]WHEN THE WORLD DEMANDS YOUR WORSHIP, STAND WITH CHRIST—AND CHOOSE HIS WAY! FOLLOW ALL THAT GOD COMMANDS US! KEEP THE FAITH THAT JESUS HELD! WORSHIP GOD, THE GREAT CREATOR! STAND FOR TRUTH WHATEVER COMES! OUR HELP IS IN THE NAME OF THE LORD! THE SNARE IS BROKEN—WE HAVE ESCAPED!
  • By Beholding We Are Changed 30.08.2026 3min
“By Beholding We Are Changed” is a call to guard what fills our minds and hearts and to fix our eyes on Christ. Through the examples of Daniel and Achan, the song contrasts resisting Babylon with allowing its influence within. As the final choice approaches, it calls us to behold Jesus through God’s Word, set our minds on things above, and allow the Holy Spirit to transform us from glory to glory into His likeness. *** BY BEHOLDING WE ARE CHANGED Lyrics by Zeres Vitto Copyright © 2026 Zeres Vitto. All Rights Reserved. [Verse 1 — What We Behold] What fills the eye will reach the mind; What fills the mind will shape the heart. What fills the heart will guide the life— Our choices shape what we become. Our hearts will follow what we treasure; What we cherish shapes us each day. Turn your eyes from things that perish— By beholding, we are changed. [Chorus 1 — Behold the Lord] BEHOLD THE LORD! Look into His Word! See Jesus Christ revealed within! Think on His truth; treasure what is good; Choose what He loves and walk His way. From thought to heart, from heart to living, His Spirit forms His life within! As we behold the glory of Jesus— BY BEHOLDING, WE ARE CHANGED! [Verse 2 — Choosing God] Daniel lived in Babylon, Yet purposed not to be defiled. His three friends would not bow the knee; They chose to worship God alone. They faced the fire and still stood true; Daniel prayed though death was near. In Babylon, they still chose God— They had learned to choose the Lord. Verse 3 — Babylon Within] Achan saw what pleased his eyes; He coveted the silver and gold. He took the treasures and Babylon’s robe; Then hid them underneath his tent. What we cherish fills the heart; What fills the heart will shape the life. Though Babylon may stand outside— Never let it rule within. [Chorus 2 — Set Your Mind Above] SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS ABOVE! Think on what is true and pure! Leave the ways of Babylon; Fix your eyes on Christ alone! Let His Word renew your thinking; Let His Spirit change your heart. As we look to Jesus daily— WE’RE CHANGED FROM GLORY TO GLORY! [Verse 4 — The Final Choice] Babylon calls the world to worship; The faithful choose to follow Christ. One bears the mark of the beast; One bears the name of God above. One follows self and human teaching; One follows Jesus through His Word. The final test reveals the heart— Our lives reflect the One we love. [Climax & Appeal] BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD ABOVE! SEE THE SAVIOR THROUGH GOD’S WORD! LET EARTHLY THINGS GROW DIM— BEHOLD CHRIST ALONE! FOR BY BEHOLDING HIM, WE ARE CHANGED!
  • When Faith Becomes Sight 26.08.2026 4min
WHEN FAITH BECOMES SIGHTThrough the Glass Dimly, Until We See His Face[Verse 1 — The Lamb] In Gethsemane, beneath our weight of sin, The spotless Lamb bore all our guilt and shame. The cup of suffering trembled in His hand: “Not Mine, but Thine”—He chose the Father’s plan. They offered wine to dull the pain He bore; He turned away—to trust His Father more. Though darkness hid the Father from His sight, He held by faith when heaven veiled its light.[Chorus 1 — Into Thy Hands] “Into Thy hands My spirit I commend”— Though He could not see, He trusted to the end. So into Your hands, O Father, I will rest; When I cannot see, I know Your way is best. Though feelings fail and darkness hides the light, Your Word stands sure—the just shall live by faith. Now through the glass, so dimly I may see; Yet faithful is the One who promised me.[Verse 2 — The Second Death] “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” He felt the separation caused by sin; The second death cast darkness on His way, Yet faith held fast when sight had passed away. He could not see beyond the waiting grave, Yet trusted still the Father who could save. “It is finished!”—then, faithful to the end: “Into Thy hands My spirit I commend.”[Verse 3 — Two Cups] The world still offers cups to ease our pain, A little compromise for earthly gain; But Babylon pours wine that clouds the mind, While Satan prowls to make the watchful blind. So watch and pray; be sober, stand awake; Do not trade truth for comfort’s fleeting sake. Choose faithfulness though suffering may come— For temporary night gives way to dawn.[Chorus 2 — The Faith of Jesus] Here is the patience of the saints of God: They keep His Word though hard may be the road. They hold the faith of Jesus through the night, And trust His Word when nothing seems aright. No earthly threat can make their faith depart; His law is written deeply in the heart. Though all the world may say that hope is gone, They know the faithful One will lead them home.[Verse 4 — The Remnant] When Michael stands, His priestly work is done, The final hour of trouble will have come. God’s faithful remnant then will firmly stand— No Intercessor—yet within His hand. Though they may feel that Jesus is not near, “I’m with you always” answers every fear. Like Jacob through the darkness they hold fast; They trust His Word until the trial is past.[Climax & Appeal — When Faith Becomes Sight] He faced the death where sinners rise no more, Yet placed His spirit in the Father’s care! So drink not Babylon’s cup for fleeting ease— HOLD FAST TO CHRIST! STAY SOBER! WATCH AND PRAY!Now through the glass we see Him dimly still— Trust in His heart when you can’t trace His will! NOW WE BELIEVE—BUT SOON OUR EYES SHALL SEE! THEN FACE TO FACE—OUR FAITH SHALL TURN TO SIGHT!Lyrics by Zeres Vitto © 2026 Zeres Vitto. All rights reserved.
  • By Whom Ye Are Sealed 26.08.2026 4min
BY WHOM YE ARE SEALEDEphesians 4:30[Verse 1 — The Question] Some say the Spirit is a force, God's power sent abroad; Some say He is no Person, just the presence sent from God. The word “Trinity” is not there—and this we know is true; So let us ask the Bible: Who is He? What does He do? No human creed or theory can define who He is; Let Scripture give the answer—let the evidence begin![Verse 2 — Bible and Bible Only] Some early Adventists viewed the Spirit differently; Some saw Him only as God's power, not One who speaks and wills. Some today repeat their words: “He is but Christ made near.” But neither church nor teacher stands above God's written Word. “The Bible and the Bible only”—there our faith must stand; Test every teaching by the Word, and follow God's command.[Verse 3 — From the Beginning] In Genesis, God's Spirit moved upon the waters' face; The Spirit gave us life and breath—His power we clearly trace. God's Spirit strove before the Flood while mercy lingered still; He filled God's servants, moved His prophets, and revealed God's will. God's Spirit taught His people, showing them the righteous way; They grieved God's Holy Spirit when they turned in sin away.[Verse 4 — Jesus Reveals Him] At Jordan stood the Son; the Father's voice came from above; The Holy Spirit then descended gently like a dove. Father, Son, and Spirit there were plainly seen as three; When Jesus ascended, the promised Spirit was sent. The Father sent “another Comforter” to teach and guide; The Spirit spoke: “Set them apart—the ones that I have called.”[Verse 5 — Let Scripture Answer!] HE SPEAKS! — Acts thirteen two! HE TEACHES! — John fourteen twenty-six! HE WILLS! — First Corinthians twelve eleven! HE INTERCEDES! — Romans eight twenty-six! HE CAN BE GRIEVED! — Ephesians four thirty! TO LIE TO THE HOLY SPIRIT WAS TO LIE UNTO GOD! — Acts five![Chorus — One God] ONE GOD! The Scriptures testify—no other we adore! The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—revealed in God's own Word. The Father sends, the Son reveals, the Spirit dwells within; The Father, Son, and Spirit work to rescue us from sin. At Jordan all were manifest—the Bible shows all three: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—in heaven's work agree![Climax — The Answer] The Spirit of the living God reveals our sin within; He leads us to the Savior who alone can cleanse from sin. The Spirit gives new birth and writes God's law upon the heart; The Spirit changes us to be like Christ in mind and heart.Remnant, keep God's commandments; hold the faith of Jesus true! Hear what the Spirit says unto the churches—He speaks to you! Grieve not the Holy Spirit, by whom God's saints are sealed; Yield to God's Holy Spirit—let Christ's character be revealed!THE SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD—BY WHOM GOD'S SAINTS ARE SEALED! SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF OUR REDEMPTION! THE WORD HAS SPOKEN—LET IT STAND!Words by Zeres Vitto Copyright 2026 Zeres Vitto. All rights reserved.

Let the whole earth seeWhat Christ can do in humanity! As angels in heaven delight to obey,Let Your sealed people walk in Your way.Restore Your image, let Your glory shine,Your truth in our hearts, our wills yield to Thine! From Eden lost to Eden restored,One faithful people, one sovereign Lord;Though earth may threaten, though Babylon reigns,We stand on Your Word through pressure and pain.Your servants shall serve You when conflict is done,The curse shall be gone, and Your kingdom shall come! From Genesis’ dawn till earth is made new—THY WILL BE DONE!THY WILL BE DONE!THY WILL BE DONE!Forever, Lord—THY WILL BE DONE!

Until He Comes Song of Ascents #4 — Based on Psalm 123 [Verse 1 — Pilgrims Looking Homeward]Like Abraham, we dwell as pilgrims,Seeking the City built by God;No lasting home is found below us,By faith we walk where fathers trod.Unto the One who dwells in heaven,We lift our eyes beyond this land;Strangers here, but heirs of Zion,We watch by faith our Master’s hand. [Pre-Chorus — The Watchman]“Watchman, tell us of the night—How long until the dawn?”“The morning comes, and also night;Keep watching—day will come.” [Chorus — Watching and Waiting]Our eyes are lifted unto You,We watch the Master’s hand;Keep oil within our vessels, Lord,And help us faithful stand. While our High Priest completes His work,Keep lamps of truth still bright;Until You show Your mercy, Lord,We’ll watch throughout the night. [Verse 2 — Walking Like Enoch]Like Enoch in a world of darkness,Teach us, Lord, to walk with You;He warned his age of coming judgment,Yet kept his faith and witness true.As judgment nears its solemn closing,May we proclaim Your warning still; As Enoch walked with You by faith, Lord,Teach us daily to do Your will. [Chorus — Watching and Waiting]Our eyes are lifted unto You,We watch the Master’s hand;Keep oil within our vessels, Lord,And help us faithful stand. While our High Priest completes His work,Keep lamps of truth still bright;Until You show Your mercy, Lord,We’ll watch throughout the night. [Verse 3 — As in the Days of Noah]As Noah watched while men were careless,So the world remains at ease;Scoffers mock the coming judgment,Proudly living as they please.Like the wise with oil in vessels,By Your Spirit keep us bright; While the Bridegroom’s work is finishing,Keep us watching through the night. [Bridge — Jacob’s Night]“Have mercy, Lord! Have mercy on us!”When every earthly help is gone;Like Jacob clinging through the darkness,We will wrestle toward the dawn.Though filled with scorn, though pressed by trouble,We will never let You go;Through the darkest hour, still keep us—By Your grace alone we stand. [Final Chorus — The King Has Come]Our eyes were lifted unto You,We watched through darkest night; The judgment closed, the waiting ended—Our King appears in light! The dead in Christ arise immortal,The living saints are changed as one;Together caught up to our Savior—The King of kings and Lord of lords has come! [Ending — Home at Last]No longer strangers dwelling in tents,The City sought by faith is home;Like Enoch, changed and taken upward,We rise to meet the Coming One.The night is past, the journey ended,Our eyes behold the One we love;Forever with the Lord our Savior—At home with God above. The Mirror, the Laver, and the LambThree Reflections of God's Saving LoveWords by Zeres Vitto © 2026 Zeres Vitto. All rights reserved.[Intro]When Adam chose the path of sin, God's holy presence man had lost; No sinful soul can stand and live Before the glory of our God. Through Christ alone we're welcomed home— The Mirror, the Laver, and the Lamb.[Verse 1 – The Mirror]God's holy Word reflects His heart; His perfect law reveals our need. The mirror shows each hidden stain, But cannot make the sinner clean. It points us to the cleansing stream, Where Christ makes guilty sinners clean.[Chorus]The Mirror shows me, The Laver cleanses, The Lamb restores what sin destroyed. From guilt to glory, Through Christ alone, We stand before our Father's throne.[Verse 2 – The Laver]From women's mirrors came the laver, Where priests must wash before they served. Still they saw their own reflection; Water cleansed what mirrors showed. Through Christ we're washed from every stain, To draw near to the throne of grace.[Chorus]The Mirror shows me, The Laver cleanses, The Lamb restores what sin destroyed. From guilt to glory, Through Christ alone, We stand before our Father's throne.[Verse 3 – The Lamb]The Father's image came to earth; In Christ God's glory shines so clear. Through Scripture now we look by faith, Though still we see through mirrors dim. Beholding Him, we're changed each day, Till faith gives way to perfect sight.[Bridge]The mirror's work is now complete; The laver's cleansing has been done. The Lamb has brought us home at last; God dwells forever with His own. What sin had stolen, Christ restored; We'll see His face forevermore.[Final Chorus]The Mirror showed me, The Laver washed me; The Lamb restored what sin destroyed. Faith now is sight; Through Christ alone, We stand before our Father's throne.

The Face-OffLyrics by Zeres Vitto© 2026 Zeres Vitto[Verse 1 — Eden]Before the earth had heard a cry, War rose within the courts on high. The dragon challenged Heaven's throne And scorned God's government and law.In Eden's shade he spoke the lie: "You shall not surely ever die." God promised then the woman's Seed Would crush the serpent and his creed.[Verse 2 — Daniel]Daniel saw the kingdoms rise: Lion, bear, and leopard's guise; The iron beast, the little horn, Would war with saints and scorn God's law.[Chorus]This is the Face-Off— The dragon and the Lamb; Earth's rebel kingdoms stand opposed Against the great I AM.The beasts oppose the sealed; The saints overcome by the Lamb's own blood. Fear rules the dragon's kingdom; The Lamb prevails through sacrifice.[Verse 3 — Revelation 13]From troubled seas the first beast came: A leopard, seven heads, ten crowned horns; A lion's mouth, a bear's strong feet; The dragon gave its power and throne.Another rose from out the earth, With lamblike horns yet dragon's voice; It causes all to worship the first beast And gives its image breath. The first portrays the papacy; The second, the United States, With Protestant and republican traits.[Verse 4 — The Final Call]Three angels sound God's final plea:"Fear God—His judgment hour has come. Babylon is fallen—leave her ways; Reject the beast, its mark, and claims."The mark is not received today; That final test still lies ahead. When Sunday worship is enforced Against God's holy Sabbath day,Each soul must choose whom they obey. No buying, selling comes to those Who keep God's commands and Jesus' faith, The remnant sealed for Christ.[Bridge]Our Priest completes His work above; Then Michael stands; probation ends. The plagues descend; the nations rage; Christ comes and gathers all His saints.[Final Chorus]This is the Face-Off— The dragon and the Lamb; Earth's kingdoms pass; Christ's kingdom stands; The Lamb forever reigns.[Verse 5 — Eternity]A thousand years the saints review God's judgments in His courts above. The earth lies waste; the dragon bound. The Holy City then descends; The wicked rise; the dragon leads Gog and Magog one last time.God's justice all acknowledge then; Fire ends sin; death is no more. The New Earth blooms; the curse is gone; The Lamb forever reigns.

I finally finished this mp4 of The Fork in the Road. It's missing a couple of lines in the final chorus due to AI glitch. Please like and shareBelow are the lyrics.THE FORK IN THE ROAD By Zeres Vitto © 2026 Zeres Vitto. All rights reserved. Reference Text: James 1:2–4, 12–15, 22–25 Verse 1 — Eden God spoke; the serpent lied: “You shall not surely die,” he said. Eve saw, desired, then took and ate; Adam chose the same dark road. Through one man sin entered the world, And death through sin spread far and wide. Chorus At the fork when testing comes, One serves self, one follows the Son; Desire embraced gives birth to sin, Tested faith lets endurance begin. Cling to Christ when pathways divide— His law is liberty, His Word our guide; Let patience finish its work, Till our lives reflect the image of Christ. Verse 2 — The Faithful Enoch walked with God; Noah believed; Abraham went where God would lead. Joseph fled; Moses chose God’s people; Job held fast; Daniel prayed. At every fork, they trusted God— Three faced the fire, refused the command. Verse 3 — Christ the Overcomer Then came the Son where Adam had failed, Through every trial He stood true. “It is written,” He answered the tempter: By every word from God man shall live. “If it be possible, let this cup pass; Yet not My will, but Thine,” He prayed. He chose the Father’s will through suffering— For joy set before Him, He bore the cross. Refrain Without You, Lord, we can do nothing; No fruit is borne apart from You. Lead us along the path of life; Work in us to will and to do, Till in our lives Your image is shown. Verse 4 — Witnesses and Martyrs Stephen prayed; Paul kept the faith; Through Alpine valleys Scripture was borne. When saving their lives meant yielding God’s Word, They chose God’s Word through exile and flame; They followed Christ, whatever the cost, And walked in the path that leads unto life. Verse 5 — The New World Across the sea came seekers of freedom, Fleeing coercion of conscience and faith. A lamblike nation rose from the earth, With conscience protected in law. Yet the lamb will speak as a dragon: At the fork, the choice comes once more— Freedom of conscience, or worship by force. Verse 6 — The Final Test Earth is called to worship the beast; An image is raised, the mark enforced. None may buy or sell without it; Death is decreed for those who refuse. Here are the saints who keep God’s commands, Living by the faith of Jesus; At the final fork, they follow the Lamb— With Christ within, faithful and true. Bridge — The Fork and Two Ends At the fork, the testing comes— Two roads open, two ends await: Desire embraced gives birth to sin, Full-grown sin brings forth death. But faith under trial learns to endure; Let patience finish its perfect work: Perfect, entire, wanting nothing— Till Christ’s own image is seen in our lives. Blessed the one who endures the test; God crowns those who love Him— Beyond the trial, beyond the strife: The promised crown of life. Final Chorus At the fork when testing comes, We cling by faith to the risen Son; Not by our strength, not by our might— God works within us to will and to do. Your law is liberty, Your Word our guide; (missing) Till our lives reflect the image of Christ. (Missing) Final Verse — The Road Reaches Home The faithful road has reached its home; The Tree of Life stands by the river. No curse remains, no death, no sorrow; His servants see Him face to face. The way once guarded back in Eden Now opens into endless grace. Final Refrain — Ending From Eden’s tree to Calvary, From Calvary to the crystal sea; Through every trial, loss, and strife, Christ leads His own to the crown of life. The test is past, the curse is gone; Death is no more, the conflict done. God dwells with us—His face we see, And love shall reign eternally.#zeresvitto #theforkintheroad #eternallife #eternaldeath #finaltest #prophecy #presenttruth #everyone #godssabbath #sundaysabbath #markofthebeast
  • Weighed and Blotted Out 04.07.2026 6min
Thy way, O Lord, is in the sanctuary....I wrote this song to help people understand where Jesus is and the important work He is doing in the Most Holy of the Heavenly Sanctuary. Please share this with someone. The lyrics are provided below:WEIGHED AND BLOTTED OUTFrom Judgment to Final DecisionBy Zeres VittoVERSE 1 — The Holy ThroneIn heaven’s courts the temple stands,The ark upholds God’s law divine;Ten commandments by His own hand—His covenant through all of time. The Sabbath bears His sacred seal,The Lord of all—both near and far;Of worlds unseen and angels bright,Before this earth and all its stars.REFRAINThe books are opened before the throne,Each life revealed, each deed made known;God’s holy law—the measure true,It weighs the heart and searches you. While mercy pleads, names yet may stand,Through Jesus’ blood, by pierced hand; When sins are retained at judgment’s call,Their names are blotted out.VERSE 2 — Profaned WorshipStrange fire burns on sacred ground,Man’s will now leads where God has spoken; His holy law is trampled down,His sacred covenant lies broken. They touch the ark with human hands,They change the times the Lord has set;“They command what God has never said,And claim it truth—deceived, unafraid.”VERSE 3 — The Feast of BabylonA golden cup is lifted high,The wine of error floods the land; They praise their gods, deny the Most High,Profaning what God made holy.Like Belshazzar in pride and sin,Who knew the truth yet chose the lie—The hand that wrote now testifies:“Thou art weighed—and found wanting.”REFRAINThe books are opened before the throne,Each life revealed, each deed made known;God’s holy law—the measure true,It weighs the heart and searches you. While mercy pleads, names yet may stand,Through Jesus’ blood, by pierced hand; When sins are retained at judgment’s call,Their names are blotted out.VERSE 4 — The Final TestWhere truth once shone within the courts,Abominations rise before Him;A decree goes forth—compelling allTo worship powers set against HimThe beast receives the worship claimed,Yet all who bow, bow down to Satan;A mark is set on hand or mind—But those who keep His Sabbath stand.BRIDGE — Close of ProbationThe door will close—no voice within,No blood to plead, no grace extended; The censer falls—the work is done,The day of mercy now is ended. From out the temple angels go,With bowls of wrath unmixed with grace; The plagues descend on those who choseTo cast God’s truth and law away.FINAL REFRAIN The books are opened—even now,Before the Judge let every heart bow.God’s holy law—the measure true—In Christ alone you’re counted true. For when His work of grace is done,No voice to plead, no intercessor; Each case is fixed for life or death—Once weighed—no change can e’er be made.

As a Thief in the NightLyrics by Zeres Vitto© 2026 Zeres Vitto. All rights reserved.Verse 1The books are open now above,Before the Ancient of Days; Each thought and word, each secret deedLies open to His gaze.No mortal knows the hour or dayHis case shall pass in review; The Judge of all the earth is just,And every record true.ChorusAs a thief, the hour may come,Unseen by mortal sight;Life or death before the throne,Each case is judged aright.Awake, awake while mercy pleads,Before probation’s close; For none can know when his own nameBefore the Judge shall go.Verse 2O house of God, the warning hear,The judgment has begun; The light entrusted to your careWill speak of what you’ve done. Not by profession shall we stand,Nor by a favored name; But by the faith that works through loveAnd honors Christ’s dear name.Verse 3O world, the invitation stillResounds from shore to shore; The Savior knocks with wounded hands,Yet soon will plead no more. The markets hum, the nations boast,The careless laugh and play; But heaven’s court moves silently,And time slips fast away.BridgeThough mercy’s door stands open still,None know their final day;For death may seal the chosen courseBefore the close of grace. And those who long resist God’s voice,Rejecting every plea,May harden hearts against the lightTill truth they cannot see.Today the Spirit gently calls,Today His grace invites; But none can know how near the hourWhen probation’s light shall end.ChorusAs a thief, the hour may come,Unseen by mortal sight;Life or death before the throne,Each case is judged aright.Awake, awake while mercy pleads,Before probation’s close; For none can know when his own nameBefore the Judge shall go.Verse 4After the final warning cry,Before the eastern skyIs filled with glory, power, and lightAnd every waiting eye,A judgment passes one by oneThrough every recorded name; And every case is settled thereFor death or endless life.Verse 5Today His voice still calls the heart,Today His grace is free;Today the blood within the veilStill pleads for you and me.But when the final name is heardAnd mercy’s work is done,The sentence fixed for every soulCan never be undone.Final ChorusAs a thief, the hour may come,Unseen by mortal sight;Life or death before the throne,Each case is judged aright. Therefore fear God and give Him praise,Walk daily in the light; For none can know when his own nameShall come before the Judge.Final EndingToday, if you will hear His voice,Do not your heart delay; For death may come or judgment passBefore another day.Seek refuge in the Lamb of God,Walk daily in His light; While Jesus still intercedes above,And mercy pleads tonight. The books remain before the throne,The hour is out of sight;Yet heaven’s judgment hastens on,Unseen by mortal sight. For none can know when comes his hourOr when shall end his night; Therefore be ready every day—Your name may come tonight.
