365. Albert of Jerusalem 14.09.2026 10นาทีSeptember 14 is the annual commemoration of Saint Albert of Jerusalem (1149-1214). A group of Christian hermits settled on Mount Carmel—the biblical site associated with the Prophet Elijah (900-850 BC). These hermits built a chapel dedicated to Mary and eventually became known as the Brothers of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. They viewed Mary as their spiritual mother and the "Lady of the place," integrating the contemplation of Elijah with devotion to the Virgin. Central to this devotion is the Brown Scapular. Exaltation of the Cross 14.09.2026 11นาทีSeptember 14 is the annual celebration of the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross commemorates the discovery of the True Cross by St. Helena, the dedication of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the cross as the triumphant symbol of salvation, transforming an instrument of torture into a sign of victory. The Feast honors the Cross upon which Jesus was crucified to redeem the world from sin, serving as a reminder of God's love and the victory of life over death. The feast originated in the 4th century with St. Helena's discovery of the True Cross in Jerusalem around 326 AD and the subsequent dedication of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in 335 AD.
