  • Healthy Body & Healthy Mind With James Wheeler! 24.07.2026 53хв
James Wheeler is the founder of Fitness and Mind, a coaching brand built specifically for neurodivergent people who've been let down by one-size-fits-all fitness advice. Drawing on nearly 20 years in inclusive fitness delivery, James created the Bad Days First™ framework and Minimum Viable Action method — approaches designed around the reality of fluctuating energy, motivation, and capacity, rather than fighting against it. He also works in public health delivery across Essex, and sits on the governance boards of a local primary school and a young carers' charity. This is a pretty hard hitting interview at times so please listen with caution. James was totally open and honest in our chat and there are mentions of an attempt James made on his own life. Having said that, this episode is not without it's light hearted moments and I had a brilliant time chatting with James. For all things James related click here! This is the last episode of season three of the podcast, however, fret not! • Crossing Continents & Creating Community with Khelsy! 10.07.2026 59хв
I'm just back from a tres bien weekend away in France visiting my family and todays episode is a very French one indeed! My guest this week is Khelsy...Based in Paris, Khelsy is a late-diagnosed AuDHD lesbian, creator, and the founder of NEUROLY. Through candid storytelling, she shares exactly what happens when you stop trying to fit in and finally start trusting yourself. By using raw honesty to challenge the idea that it’s ever too late to start over, Khelsy invites anyone stuck in self-doubt to ditch the pressure and lean into their own intuition. Her stories are a reminder that you don’t have to navigate the messy parts of self-discovery alone, showing that there’s no such thing as being too late to be yourself.I had an awesome time chatting with Khelsy. She's a fascinating person with so many stories to share. Please be warned, we do touch on some tough topics that some people may find triggering including domestic abuse and a brief mention of suicide attempt. • Healing From Trauma With K.A.P. With Sean Gillen! 03.07.2026 45хв
In next week's episode, I have a brilliant guest who, during our interview, mentions K.A.P. and the positive affect it's had on her life. I hadn't heard of K.A.P. before chatting with her so in this week's episode I decided I should find out all about it in anticipation of that episode being released. Enter Sean Gillen from EULAS Clinics in Scotland who is here to educate us all about it. He talks in detail about what exactly K.A.P. is, who it's suitable for, how it's administered and the potential benefits. There is also mention of some subjects that some listeners may find triggering including drug misuse and brief mentions of war. Sean Gillen, director of eulas clinics. After 15 years of working in mental health services and seeing poor outcomes on a regular basis,  Sean and his team started eulas clinics with the intention of bringing a more modern and effective approach to mental health treatment. Sean and his team are the first to provide ketamine assisted psychotherapy in Scotland and have now branched out to London to make this treatment as available and accessible as possible. For more information about K.A.P. click hereMy merch has finally been released! • Gill Of All Trades! With Gillian Charlton! 26.06.2026 1год
I've called this episode Gill Of All Trades because Gill is someone, who like me and many other ADHD people, has many strings to her bow and it's something I feel we should celebrate more! I was first introduced to Gill through my gorgeous mate Laura on a facetime, if I recall correctly, last New Years Eve. She was bouncing around in her pyjamas singing and I was immediately drawn to her energy. Gill is a naturally funny person, which is something I love but there is also so much more to her...Gill Charlton is a former British Army soldier, comedian, celebrant, speaker and full‑time Northern chatterbox. She was diagnosed with combined‑type ADHD at 38 while still serving, during treatment for PTSD and following a cancer diagnosis in 2018.After 24 years in the Army, PTSD and a long medical discharge process led Gill to leave service in 2023, throwing her sense of identity into chaos. She coped the only way an ADHD brain knows how — by doing everything. Gill immersed herself in recovery programmes based around adaptive sport, saying yes to sailing, snowboarding, climbing, axe throwing and pretty much anything else offered. She was also selected for the Invictus Games and took a stand‑up comedy course, which led to her becoming co‑founder and director of the Veterans Comedy Club CIC.After leaving the Army, Gill retrained and worked full‑time as a celebrant, building a business rooted in connection, humour and authenticity — a role she still continues alongside her work. A year ago, she moved into a full‑time Events Executive role in the charity sector, supporting military‑connected communities. Through podcasts like ADHD AF, Gill found the ADHD community she’d been searching for and now runs the Manchester peer support group for the ADHD AF+ charity. She’s also a mum to two AuDHD sons, an event host and speaker, and someone who gets involved in almost everything.Gill's celebrant website: www.gillcharlton.co.uk Veterans Comedy Club website: Veterans Comedy Club | Armed Forces ComedySign up for email reminders to the Manchester  Peer Support Groups — ADHDAF+ CharityMy merch has finally been released! • Nowt As Queer As Folk! With Heidi Mavir! 19.06.2026 50хв
In this episode, I'm joined by the wonderful Heidi Mavir for a conversation that was originally meant to focus on the brilliant work she does through EOTAS Matters and The Marble Run.That was the plan, anyway. In true ADHD fashion, we took a wonderfully unexpected detour and found ourselves talking about queerness instead - which honestly could not be more perfect, given that this episode is being released during Pride Month!Fret not! • Stimming, Self Regulation, Safe Spaces & Silliness! With Erin Fung! 17.04.2026 50хв
In possibly my most unmasked and unfiltered episode yet, I've got my bestie, Erin, on to talk about our stims, tics, the ways we self regulate and then a ton of our usual tangents. This episode is a completely natural, unmasked conversation between two really good mates and contains dodgy accents, a load of vocal stims, silly voices and mayhem but hopefully it will be relatable and can help eradicate some of the stigma attached to openly stimming. • S.E.N.D. Help! With AuDHDacious Humans! 13.03.2026 56хв
Martha and Jenni met as teachers at the same progressive school where their kids werestudents and became each other's children's key teachers. Jenni ran mini shopping trolleyraces down corridors with Martha's son for vestibular regulation. Martha provided Jenni'sdaughters with peanut balls to bounce on so they could focus enough to write andcalculate Maths whilst reciting favourite Bluey episodes.Despite 40 years combined teaching experience and knowing exactly whatneurodivergent children needed, they both realised their own AuDHD/PDA kids weren'tschool-shaped. Not even alternative-school-shaped. So over 3 years ago, they left theirteaching jobs and the education system and started their real education. When they couldn't find home ed clubs that could accommodate their demand-avoidantchildren, they created Make & Create Club: a flexible, low-demand space where rulemakers, rule breakers thrive. They offer community, advocacy and the freedom to beyourself. Now through AuDHDacious Humans, they provide online support for discombobulatedfamilies to understand sensory systems, reframe behaviour, and ditch systems that breakthem. They've lived this experience too, as late-diagnosed AuDHDers, parenting pressure-sensitive children, unravelling everything they thought they knew about parenting and education. Some people call it a journey. They call it a reckoning.Website: www.audhdacious.comEmail: team@audhdacious.comInstagram: @audhdacious.humansBuy your copy of ADHD Magazine here!Send me your little wins so I can celebrate you on the podcast by either sliding into my DMs on instagramor email me at audhdorjustabitweird@gmail.com Find your local ADHDAF+ peer support group here!Support neurodivergent independent businesses: Shop at Born Anxious using the code AUDHD15 for a special price! You can help support The Big ADHD Fundraiser by buying a Dave Kirkman hoodie here!Purchase your official hidden disabilities sunflower lanyard here!
