Ep 504: Separation Is The Cause Of Your Pain 16.06.2026 25хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim explores one of the most overlooked truths behind human suffering: the belief that we are separate from source. He unpacks how centuries of conditioning have led most people to operate as mechanical beings — doing things to create outcomes — rather than recognizing themselves as the consciousness that is the source of all creation. Whether it is money, love, or health, the struggle to achieve these things stems not from lack of effort, but from a fundamental misidentification of who and what we truly are. Jim traces this separation from René Descartes' mechanistic worldview to childhood lessons about earning and doing, showing how deeply the belief that we must work to deserve is wired into the human psyche. He also draws a sharp distinction between dogmatic religion, which reinforces separation from the divine, and the direct knowing that each person is not a human having spiritual experiences, but infinite consciousness inhabiting a human form. This episode is an invitation to stop trying to be human and start recognizing the truth: you are source, you are consciousness, and everything you are seeking is not something to attract — it is something you already are. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (00:00) The origin of pain — Jim connects the pain of money, loneliness, and health to a single root cause: the belief in separation from source, and why most people never close that gap despite intellectually agreeing we are all one. (02:44) Descartes and the mechanistic lie — Jim traces how René Descartes' mechanistic worldview conditioned humanity to operate as doing machines, separating action from consciousness and setting the stage for a life of polarity and struggle. (06:06) Consciousness vs. mechanical behavior — Jim explains why effort alone rarely produces the desired results, and how the real issue is the mismatch between what someone is doing and the consciousness they carry while doing it. (09:31) The brainwashing of religion and childhood — From Southern Baptist fire-and-brimstone to a dime earned cleaning flower beds at age five, Jim illustrates how early conditioning and institutional religion quietly sever people from their true identity as source. (15:19) You are not human — you are consciousness — Jim makes the case that most people have it backwards: they believe they are humans with consciousness, when in truth they are infinite consciousness that has taken on a human form — and that distinction changes everything. (20:12) The transformational question — Jim closes with a powerful question to sit with: What would be true if I were pure consciousness having this human experience? — inviting listeners to explore it not analytically, but as a felt, living awareness. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway You are not a human being trying to find God, abundance, or peace. You are consciousness — infinite, whole, and complete — temporarily inhabiting a human form. Every struggle and every painful pattern traces back to the moment we forget that truth and begin identifying with the container instead of the consciousness within it. Stop trying to be human. Start recognizing yourself as source. Sit with the question Jim offers, let it move beyond the analytical mind, and allow the awareness to settle in. That shift — from doing to being — is where transformation actually begins. Let’s Connect: Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 503: Throwback To Ep91: Your Life Has No Meaning, Except… 11.06.2026 30хвStart Your Transformation Now No matter what happens to you, it has no meaning except the meaning that you give it. The very same thing can happen to two different people and it’s obvious that each person will give it a different meaning…and reaction/response.The concept isn’t new however, so few people live by the power of this concept. In this episode I talk about:[1:18] Various scenarios that each of us give different meaning to[4:09] Why you give everything meaning[6:05] The fact that you’re a “meaning-making machine”[7:57] The implications of living from external meanings[9:25] When people are judging you they are simply giving meaning to you[15:48] What it means when people “die”[21:46] Why good/bad meanings lead to indecision And, like I say in every episode synopsis…a lot more. This concept has the absolute power to literally transform your life, yet, we have to integrate this concept and start working from it. This concept will set you free from the ups and downs of life. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Nothing has any meaning except the meaning you give it. Let’s Connect: Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 502: Escaping Practical Attachment 09.06.2026 35хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim explores the concept of practical attachment — not as an abstract spiritual idea, but as a very real, everyday force that quietly steals joy and peace of mind. Inspired by his own experience of packing up and moving on from the stunning Sedona home he spent 39 months building, Jim takes listeners on a journey through the many forms of attachment: possessions, relationships, jobs, success, identity, and even deeply held beliefs about reality. The Buddha once said that the root of suffering is attachment, and Jim makes that truth impossible to ignore by grounding it in ordinary life. From designer clothing and Rolex watches to soul-sucking jobs and controlling relationships with adult children, Jim walks through the subtle and not-so-subtle ways people cling to things — not because of the things themselves, but because of the meaning and identity they project onto them. He shares personal stories, including the half-million-dollar loss he accepted without hesitation to finally move on, his brother's intentionally homeless life, and what it felt like to live at both ends of the financial spectrum. The real insight emerges: attachment is not about the object — it is about the energy spent protecting what we believe defines us. If there is anything in life causing unhappiness, there is an attachment hiding beneath it — and this episode is the invitation to find it. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (00:00) The root of suffering — Jim opens by framing attachment not as a spiritual buzzword but as a practical, everyday pattern, challenging listeners to honestly ask: what am I actually attached to, and how much is it costing me? (08:46) Attachment to things — From homes and cars to designer clothes and family heirlooms, Jim explores how we attach to physical possessions and the emotional weight that comes with protecting them, even long after they are gone. (15:04) Attachment to people and relationships — Jim examines how attachment to partners, children, and even adult kids can quietly become a form of control — and how one TCP student's breakthrough came when she finally released her grip on her 23- and 24-year-old children. (19:43) Attachment to jobs, fear, and identity — Jim unpacks why people stay in miserable jobs, how attachment to success and achievement is really about what others will think, and why peace of mind must rank above all other currencies. (26:59) Attachment to beliefs and ideology — From MAGA to money to self-importance, Jim explains how the more we are attached to an idea, the more we must defend it — and how mistaking our perceptions for ultimate reality is one of the greatest sources of inner conflict. (30:00) The transformational reframe — Jim closes with a grounding reminder: we are born with nothing, we own nothing, and any lack of happiness is a signal pointing directly to an attachment waiting to be examined and released. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway You were born with nothing — and in truth, you own nothing. Every possession, relationship, job, and belief you cling to becomes a source of suffering the moment you mistake it for your identity. Attachment is not just about things. It is about what you have decided those things say about you. When you stop and ask, "What am I attached to right now?" — especially in moments of unhappiness or fear — you take back the one thing no possession can ever give you: peace of mind. That is the ultimate currency. The moment you can release your grip, even just a little, is the moment life stops being a prison and starts becoming a journey you are actually free to enjoy. Ep 501: Throwback To Ep132: Five Random Thoughts To Change Your Life – Volume 3 04.06.2026 29хвStart Your Transformation Now Here’s another in the “Five Random Thoughts” Series. OK, full transparency, I was pressed for time this weekend and traveling so I put another random thought episode, and given the feedback, it appears many of you guys are loving these. So, the five random thoughts this week are:1) When you run your life by emotions you’ll find yourself in the ditch.I used to find that it was hard for me to follow through and one of my coaches pointed out, “You don’t follow through with your commitments because when your feelings change so do your commitments.” This was a huge life-altering ah-ha moment. And, if you’re not following through in life perhaps you are the same as I once was? 2) Your life is this way or that way because you tell yourself life is this way or that way.Life is a reflection of you. Kahlil Gibran once said, “Words are but simple dripping from the mind.” So, how do you tell yourself that “life is.” Exactly as you tell yourself will be your experience of life! 3) Mastery Is repetition and sacrificeThese are all simple and this one is as simple as the others but so simple many of us miss. What have you “mastered” in life? We live in a world of mediocrity and most of us have “mastered” little. Most of us just get by in life. The title is obvious, to create mastery in anything it requires repetition, and most of us get that yet what most of us don’t like is that it also requires sacrifice. For everything in life, there is a price. And to be masterful at anything you must pay the price for it. 4) Changing your life is very simple but requires devotionChange is easy. Becoming who you are now was not hard. You didn’t fight to become who you ARE, you learned it. Like the last random thought, you become who you are with repetition. It’s EASY to do most things with repetition and where and what is your repetition? 5) If I don’t have humbleness I lose everything. It took me MANY years to get this. I got it when I tried to quote what I was taught. “The common man is hooked to other men, the spiritual warrior is hooked to infinity. “ MEANING: If I lose mySELF in my ego and I then am not humble I then lose “who” I am, which is a spiritual being. There is obviously a lot more and humbleness is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less. And, it requires that you place you either above or below anyone. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway 1) When you run your life by your emotions you’ll find yourself in the ditch. 2) Your life is “this way” or “that way” because you tell yourself life is this way or that way. 3) Mastery is repetition and sacrifice. 4) Changing your life is very simple but requires devotion. 5) If I don’t have humbleness I lose everything. Ep 500: How To Cure Your Money, Health, And Life Challenges 02.06.2026 24хвStart Your Transformation Now Most people absorb personal growth content with genuine desire to change — yet the moment they stop listening, they slip right back into the same patterns, the same struggles, and the same quiet belief that something is fundamentally wrong with them. Jim Fortin has heard it countless times: I must be broken. This just doesn't work for me. In this episode, Jim dismantles that belief entirely. The problem is never the person — it is the direction. Nearly everyone is approaching life from the outside in, trying to fix visible problems with visible solutions, and wondering why nothing sticks. Jim draws on decades of coaching and his own personal history with money and health challenges to explain why the cure for what ails us — financially, physically, relationally — cannot be found in the 3D world. The body is not who you are. Your bank account is not who you are. These are conditions being experienced by a soul temporarily housed in a human form, and when you misidentify yourself as the condition, you stay trapped inside it. The real shift happens when you stop fighting what's wrong and start opening to the divine consciousness that has never once been sick, broke, afraid, or broken. You are not damaged goods. You have simply been looking in the wrong direction. It is time to turn around. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (01:26) The outside-in trap — Why most people keep repeating the same struggles despite consuming endless books, programs, and motivation, and how misidentifying with the body locks you into its limitations. (04:23) You are not your body — Jim reframes the common language of illness and lack, explaining that saying "I have rheumatoid arthritis" or "I have no money" keeps the soul trapped inside a 3D identity that was never the full truth of who you are. (07:19) The part of you that has never been broken — There is a dimension of you — your soul, your consciousness — that has never been sick, never been afraid, and never been touched by any illness or lack. Jim challenges listeners to think and identify from that place instead. (11:44) The three-minute morning practice — A simple, practical protocol Jim learned from a shaman: sit quietly, breathe, and gently hold the sentence I am open to being loved by something greater than my fear — no forcing, no agenda, just openness. (15:55) Why silence is the cure — Using the analogy of cutting a finger and simply putting on a bandage, Jim illustrates how healing flows naturally when we stop the noise of analyzing, fixing, and fearing — and step into the quiet space where divine mind can be heard. (19:43) You are not alone — Referencing the parable of Footprints in the Sand, Jim reminds listeners that the same consciousness carrying every breath they take is fully capable of handling money, health, relationships, and everything else they are struggling to control. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway You are not broken — and you never were. The money challenges, the health struggles, the loneliness — these are not evidence of a flawed soul. They are evidence of a soul that has been looking outward for answers that can only be found within. Your soul has never been sick, never been broke, never once been touched by fear or limitation. When you stop fighting the condition and start opening — just three quiet minutes a day, no agenda, no expectation — you create the space for divine consciousness to move. Like rain soaking into the ground, you don't have to force it. You only have to stop blocking it. That is the cure — just the willingness to remember what you actually are. Ep 499: Throwback To Ep124: The Seven Cosmic Laws 28.05.2026 52хвStart Your Transformation Now These days all kinds of “spiritual authors” have all kinds of books about “spiritual laws.” However, most people mix and match “laws” that tend to validate their model of reality. In this episode I quickly cover the “Seven Cosmic Laws” brought to the world by Hermes Tresmegistus and though the laws were just published around 100 years ago, the manuscript is believed to be over 10,000 years old. These are the laws that govern as laws and as you’re listening to this episode you’ll find two things: one, it will be obvious why your life has unfolded in the way that it has and secondly, you’ll start to see just how powerful you are. The Seven Cosmic Laws are known as Hermetic Wisdom and in this episode I lay out all seven for you.The Laws…1. The Principle of Mentalism:The All is mind; The Universe is Mental.2. The Principle of Correspondence:As above, so below; as below, so above. As within, as without; as without, so within.3. The Principle of Vibration:Nothing rests; Everything moves; Everything vibrates.4. The Principle of Polarity:Everything is dual; Everything has poles; Everything has its pair of opposites; Like and unlike are the same;Opposites are identical in nature, but different in degree; Extremes meet; All truths are but half-truths;All paradoxes may be reconciled.6. The Principle of Rhythm:Everything flows, out and in; Everything has its tides; All things rise and fall; The pendulum swing manifests in everything; The measure of the swing to the right is the measure of the swing to the left; Rhythm compensates.7. The Principle of Cause & Effect:Every cause has its effect; Every effect has its cause; Everything happens according to law’ Chance is but a name for law not recognized’ There are many planes of causation, but nothing escapes the law.8. The Principle of Gender:Gender is in everything; Everything has its masculine and feminine principles; Gender manifests on all planes. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Our lives are governed by cosmic laws and when we know these laws we then have the “scepter of power.” Mentioned Resources: The Kybalion The Secret Of The Ages by Robert Collier Episode 9: How The Law Of Attraction Repels The Money And Abundance You Want Disclosure: Some of the links above are affiliate links, meaning, at no additional cost to you, I will earn a small commission if you make a purchase. Ep 498: Why Your Fear Is Unnatural 26.05.2026 38хвStart Your Transformation Now Fear is not who you are, it is what you have been taught. In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim dismantles one of the most deeply held illusions people carry: that fear is natural and unavoidable. Through vivid examples, from the moment of birth to decades of economic conditioning absorbed at the dinner table, Jim makes it undeniable that the fears running most people's lives were never theirs to begin with. They were handed down through media, culture, and a world obsessed with scarcity. And the reason these fears feel so real is because they have been running unquestioned for so long. Jim draws a clear distinction between managing fear and transcending it. The real issue is forgetting. Forgetting who and what you truly are. When someone loses that connection to source, they automatically slip into victimhood, competition, and the grinding weight of what Jim calls a "beast of burden." That is not the human condition. That is the conditioned human. You are not broken. You have simply forgotten. And it is time to remember. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (02:15) The illusion behind every fear — The fears people carry about money, health, and collapse are not reality but imaginary threats — hallucinations born from inherited conditioning that most people have never stopped to question. (07:18) You were born trusting — then taught to fear — Jim uses the image of an infant in the birth canal to illustrate that fear is a learned behavior, not a built-in one, and that the natural human state is deep trust and knowing. (13:34) The media machine feeding your anxiety — Daily consumption of news and social media conditions the brain into perpetual anxiety — and why Jim personally stepped away from most of it entirely. (20:06) Source is greater than any obstacle — The soul — not the body or personality — is the ultimate power in any situation, and recognizing yourself as a reflection of source changes the entire framework through which you experience fear. (27:31) It is not about managing fear — it is about knowing yourself out of it — Fear is not a problem to be fixed. It is a symptom of forgetting, and the only true solution is reconnecting to who you really are. (31:26) The seven-day detox challenge — A full seven-day fast from news, social media, and all negativity inputs, designed to clear the space so that the voice of source can finally be heard again. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway The fears you carry were never yours. They were absorbed in childhood, amplified by media, and repeated so many times they came to feel like truth. But a fever is not your natural state. When it breaks, the body returns to health automatically, because health was always there. The same is true of you. You are not a small, struggling human fighting for scraps. You are the intelligence of the universe. The same source that beats your heart and heals every wound without a single conscious thought. The moment you stop consuming the world's narratives and reconnect to source, the fear does not need to be managed. It simply has nowhere left to live. Ep 497: Throwback To Ep6: Here’s The Only Place To Find Your Highest Potential 21.05.2026 34хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode, you’re not going to get some “rah rah” motivational advice to perform at your highest. Instead, you’ll learn that living your highest potential is not external, it’s internal. It’s all about quieting the mind and mastering your silence. When you stop your internal dialogue you become so much more powerful and when you quiet the internal noise you create silence of mind, and that’s where the answers come. In this episode I discuss:Why mastering your silence is the answer to finding your highest potentialExternal silence vs internal silence (and why we need both)How to quiet your mind by using a variety of different techniques (Download PDF for a list of resources) When you learn to stop talking to yourself, ANYTHING becomes possible for you. Ep 496: You Were Born Into A Life Experience You Didn't Create pt. 2 19.05.2026 33хвStart Your Transformation Now Picking up directly from Part 1, Jim Fortin goes deeper into the conditioning that has quietly shaped everything people believe about themselves. Through striking examples — from North Korea's culture of total indoctrination to a Ku Klux Klan grandmother holding her grandchild — Jim makes it undeniable: the beliefs, fears, and limitations most people carry were absorbed before they ever had the capacity to question them. Whether it is money, relationships, health, or identity, what feels like personal truth is almost always inherited — a map someone else drew that has been steering the course of an entire life. Jim challenges listeners to see themselves as a marionette whose strings were attached at birth — and to start asking who has been pulling them. Rather than a small, struggling being grinding through life alone, every person is universal intelligence expressing itself in human form. The real work is not hustle or strategy — it is consciousness. And the first crack in the prison wall begins the moment someone realizes they are not the hand, not the body, but the awareness running through it. If you have ever wondered why effort alone never seems to be enough, this episode offers the answer most people have never been given. Listen closely. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (02:24) You inherited a map you never drew — How beliefs about money, religion, race, and relationships are absorbed automatically in childhood, leaving most people navigating their entire lives through someone else's version of reality. (05:47) The fish that doesn't know it's in water — Why the most dangerous conditioning is the kind that feels completely natural, and how the inability to see the brainwashing is itself proof that it worked. (09:09) Your healing power was taken from you — How society's conditioning around illness and medicine has disconnected people from the body's innate ability to heal — and why Jim tuned out his own doctors after his 2020 heart failure and stroke. (15:51) Rich people dream of staying rich, poor people dream of staying poor — How the financial reality a person is born into becomes the subconscious blueprint they keep recreating — and what it takes to break the cycle. (22:15) The universe is doing the heavy lifting — you've been brainwashed to forget it — Why the belief that you must struggle alone is itself the conditioning, and how reconnecting with universal intelligence is what actually returns your power. (25:11) You are not the body — you are the awareness of it — The identity shift that changes everything: recognizing that the "I" inside you is not the physical container, but the consciousness running through it. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Everything you have been told about who you are, what you can heal, what you can earn, and how hard life has to be — that was someone else's story. You were handed a map you didn't draw and have been following it your whole life. The fears are learned. The limits are inherited. The struggle is conditioning, not law. You are not a small being fighting to survive — you are the intelligence of the universe expressed in human form, the same intelligence that beats your heart and heals a cut without a single conscious thought. The moment you stop identifying with the body and recognize yourself as the awareness within it, your power begins to return. Ep 495: Throwback To Ep188: Welcome Into My World With A Shaman Sorcerer 14.05.2026 33хвStart Your Transformation Now I was thinking a few weeks ago, “What do I want to talk about this week on the podcast?” and I had a flood of ideas and topics pop into my mind and none of them were calling to me at that time and I thought, “So many people ask about spirituality, why don’t I dig further into and talk about my experiences with a shaman?” So, in this episode, I pull the curtain back a bit and share one of my most memorable experiences with a shaman/sorcerer. I could share many of these but that would be overwhelming so it’s better to just start with one and we’ll see how it goes. What I’m sharing in this podcast is a non-ordinary event and at the very least an event that may be a good story if nothing else. More than anything, my intention with this episode is to get you to start thinking about the world of the non-ordinary and the world that exists that you cannot physically observe with your sight or sound. My intention is to get you to really start thinking about the power you wield as a “cosmic being.” Think about the world of physics, energy, and what’s real and not real. Science shows that we can only observe about 3% of what exists on the electromagnetic spectrum which means we miss most of like and what’s available to us. Perhaps this episode can get you to start thinking about the world and your world of the non-ordinary and what’s really all around you. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Ep 494: You Were Born Into A Life Experience You Didn't Create 12.05.2026 30хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim Fortin delivers an unflinching look at a truth most people never stop to examine, that the life they are living was not one they consciously chose. Drawing on decades of work in subconscious transformation, Jim makes the case that every belief a person holds about who they are, what they deserve, and what is possible was handed to them before they could ever question it. From family and religion to government, media, and the school system, Jim breaks down how every major institution has a vested interest in keeping people small, compliant, and dependent. Using the striking example of North Korea, where citizens are so conditioned they don't recognize they are living in a prison. Jim draws a direct parallel to the invisible walls most people in the Western world inhabit without ever seeing. The most dangerous prison, he argues, is the one with no walls at all. And the deepest form of this conditioning isn't political or religious — it is ontological. It is the lie that you are a small, limited physical being, when the truth of who you are is something far more vast than you have ever been allowed to believe. If you have ever felt stuck without knowing exactly why, this conversation is where understanding begins. Listen closely. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (01:53) You were born into a story you didn't write — How the beliefs and limitations most people carry were already running before they took their first breath, inherited from family, culture, and institutions they never chose. (05:52) The most dangerous prison has no walls — Why the conditioning that keeps people trapped is invisible from the inside, and how defending the very system that brainwashed you is one of its most telling signs. (09:46) The illusions keeping you trapped were engineered — How governments, religions, corporations, and media share a common interest in keeping people obedient, dependent, and cut off from their own sovereign power. (17:56) The most damaging brainwashing is ontological — Why the deepest lie is about the very nature of your being, and how you were conditioned to believe you are far smaller than you actually are. (26:06) The core lie that keeps you playing small — Why every major system runs on one central belief that you are small, and why escaping it requires awareness, not techniques. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway You did not choose the story you were handed. The beliefs running your life — about money, your body, what you deserve, and what is possible — were given to you by systems that needed you to stay small. That is not your truth. It never was. The work is not to fight the brainwashing or shame yourself for having been in it — every single one of us has been. The work is simply to become aware of it. Because the moment you can see the prison, you are already standing outside of it. Let’s Connect: Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 493: Throwback to Ep106: How To Have Peace of Mind In The Chaos All Around You 07.05.2026 41хвStart Your Transformation Now How To Have Peace of Mind In The Chaos All Around…that’s huge right? I mean,it would be amazing. And, I want you to know, it’s possible. I’ve decided to change the content format of the podcast. I want to bring a more “spiritual” approach to the podcast and I start that this week. (Bear with me as I fumble a bit trying to find my content and delivery style for this new approach.) In this episode, I talk about how to have peace of mind in the midst of what’s happening in the world and I approach it from a “spiritual” aspect. In this episode I talk about:[11:47] How all the fear in the world is all “3D ego”[15:47] Reinforcement of the Be Do Have theme in the podcast and look at your BEing[21:15] How you’re responding to the world[22:50] What you’re learning about yourself in the world in the midst of this all[26:17] Taking advantage of the change in the world[27:32] Shamanism and letting a part of your ego “die”[29:15] Leaving your old life and routines for a new life[31:16] Letting your old “reality” die And, overall, I talk about who you have to be and what you have to do to cultivate POM (Peace of Mind) through this huge life transition we’re all going through. Listen, apply, and enjoy! As I’m shifting content and thinking about what I want to share, again, bear with me and overall this whole episode is about you leaving the old you behind you as the result of this global situation. Ep 492: Eliminating The Illusion Of Fear 05.05.2026 36хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim Fortin reveals a perspective on fear that most people have never considered — one that doesn't require techniques, hacks, or willpower. Drawing on decades of work with his shaman mentor Don Javier, Jim makes the case that everything most people do to fight fear — affirmations, breathing exercises, reframing, even sheer determination — is the very thing keeping fear alive. The real problem, he argues, isn't fear itself. It's the illusion that fear is real. Jim breaks down why fear has no place in the present moment, why it is always a story about a future that hasn't happened and likely never will, and why resisting fear is like throwing gasoline on a fire. From the neuroscience of the amygdala to ancient Buddhist wisdom, Jim draws a clear and practical distinction between being consumed by fear and simply observing it — and explains why that single shift changes everything. This episode doesn't offer a better way to fight fear. It offers something far more powerful: a way to see through it entirely. Listen closely. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (03:51) Fear lives in the future, not the present — Why fear almost never exists in the actual present moment and how most people are unknowingly living now from something that hasn't happened yet. (08:16) Most of what you fear will never come to pass — The sobering truth that the vast majority of things people catastrophize about never materialize, and why suffering through fear is always optional. (10:12) Fear is a story, not a fact — How recognizing fear as a self-generated narrative — rather than an objective reality — is the moment it begins to lose its grip on you. (13:07) Why techniques and hacks make fear worse — The neuroscientific reason that fighting fear through tools and strategies actually amplifies it, and what Jim calls the resistance trap. (17:21) Observation dissolves what resistance amplifies — The Buddhist practice of naming and witnessing fear as an outside observer, rather than being consumed by it, and why this creates genuine freedom. (29:26) Surrender is not weakness — it's the only way out — Why accepting what is in the present moment, rather than trying to control an outcome that can never be guaranteed, is the true path to eliminating fear for good. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Fear is not your enemy — it is a story your mind has been telling you so convincingly that you forgot it was a story at all. Every fear you carry is a thought about the future, lived as if it were a fact right now. And the harder you fight it, the more real it becomes. The way out is not force — it is observation, surrender, and the quiet recognition that right now, in this breath, you are okay. The next time fear comes knocking, name it. Recognize it as a story. You are not the fear. You are the awareness watching it arise — and that is exactly where your freedom lives. Let’s Connect: Instagram | Facebook | YouTube | LinkedIn LIKED THE EPISODE? Ep 490: What The Hopi Knew, And What It Means For You Right Now 28.04.2026 28хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim Fortin explores the ancient wisdom of the Hopi people and its startling relevance to the world unfolding right now. Drawing from a personal conversation with his shaman mentor Don Javier—sparked by the appearance of Atlas, a rare interstellar object—Jim unpacks centuries-old Hopi prophecies that describe exactly the kind of world we are living in today: materialistic, imperialistic, and spiritually unmoored. Far from a doomsday warning, these prophecies are, as Jim frames them, a map—patterns that ancient peoples observed, documented, and passed down to guide future generations. Jim traces humanity's journey through four worlds, each destroyed by the collective disregard for spiritual teachings, and zeroes in on the Hopi's most critical teaching for this moment: the choice between the path of two hearts and the path of one heart. The two hearts path—the upper path—is the zigzag of chasing money, ego, and external identity. The one heart path—the lower path—is the path of divine essence, peace, love, and stewardship of the earth. Every ancient prophecy Jim references, from Nostradamus to Edgar Cayce to Baba Vanga, converges on this same crossroads humanity faces right now, in 2026. This is not a moment for passivity. It is, as Jim calls it, go time—not in a frantic way, but in a deeply intentional, spiritually grounded way. Listen closely. What You’ll Discover in This Episode: (02:53) The Hopi: peaceful stewards of consciousness — How the Hopi built an entire culture around a single purpose: maintaining balance with the earth and with consciousness itself. (05:47) Two worlds diverging right now — Humanity is splitting into two distinct paths—one driven by money, ego, and greed, and the other by heart, soul, and spiritual stewardship—and both are visible in the world today. (09:09) The fourth world and the patterns we keep repeating — How the Hopi described our current world as ruthless and materialistic, and why ancient prophecies from Cayce, Nostradamus, and Baba Vanga all point to this same moment in history. (14:58) The Hopi's two paths for the end of the fourth world — A closer look at the upper path (two hearts) and the lower path (one heart), and why outsourcing your identity to material things keeps you in disharmony with the energies shifting on the planet. (17:53) Purification, not annihilation—and why now is go time — The Hopi were not predicting destruction; they were prophesying purification, and why spiritual evolution is the most urgent work any of us can do right now. (20:50) The fifth world is an inner state available to you today — The next world the Hopi envisioned isn't a geographic destination—it's a consciousness that becomes accessible the moment you choose the path of one heart. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway The Hopi knew. Across centuries, they mapped the patterns of human civilization and left a clear message for this exact moment: the world does not change until the individual does. You are standing at the crossroads of two paths—one leading outward toward noise, hustle, and identity built from status and distraction; the other leading inward toward soul, peace, and consciousness that helps heal the planet. You don't have to renounce the material world. You simply have to stop letting it define you. The fifth world isn't coming someday. It is available right now, in the next choice you make. Ep 488: How to Believe It Before You See It 21.04.2026 37хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim Fortin explores one of the most powerful and overlooked truths about how reality is actually created: the invisible always precedes the visible. Using examples from the Wright brothers to everyday farmers planting seeds, Jim makes the case that everything in the physical world — money, health, relationships — begins as an invisible declaration made in the mind, long before it ever shows up as evidence in the external world. The real question isn't whether you have the ability to create what you want — it's whether your declarations are working for you or against you. Most people live by the motto "I'll believe it when I see it," unknowingly trapping themselves in a cycle where they can only affirm what already exists. Jim challenges this deeply ingrained habit head-on, explaining that saying "I want" something is simultaneously a declaration to the universe that you do not have it — and the universe simply delivers on that declaration. The episode reframes the concept of "having" entirely: what you declare, you speak into existence. If you've been waiting for visible proof before allowing yourself to believe something is possible, this episode will permanently shift the way you think about your own power to create. What You'll Discover in This Episode: (00:00) Why "I'll believe it when I see it" keeps you stuck — Jim opens with the foundational truth that invisible precedes visible, and explains why waiting for evidence before believing is the very thing that prevents what you want from ever appearing. (09:11) Your declarations are creating your life — Jim reveals that everything you have is a direct reflection of what you've declared yourself to have, and that most people unknowingly broadcast lack to the universe on a constant loop. (15:00) You already have access to infinite supply — Jim explains that you are part of the same universal consciousness that contains everything, meaning the abundance you seek already belongs to you — you're simply not tuned into it. (20:54) The shift from "wanting" to "having" — Jim demonstrates the energetic and neurological difference between declaring "I want" versus "I have," and why working from the emotional state of having is the key to changing your reality. (27:12) The six-peg declaration practice — Jim teaches a repeatable exercise using five known truisms plus one object of desire to train the brain to accept the invisible as real and elevate frequency in the process. (34:00) Declare it, then leave it alone — Once you speak your intention as truth, trust the universe to handle the how — just as a farmer plants a seed knowing the crop will come. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Everything you have in your life is the result of what you have declared yourself to have. And everything you don't yet have is simply invisible — not absent. You've been broadcasting from lack and want, and the universe has been delivering exactly that. So declare differently. Speak your life into existence from supply, not scarcity. Say "I have" with the same certainty you feel knowing you have a roof over your head. Declare your five truisms, add the sixth, then leave it alone — because the moment you plant the seed and walk away, you're already telling the universe you believe the crop is coming. Ep 487: Throwback To Ep22: Q & A – Would You Say It’s Best To Look At Things As They Are Or How You Want Them To Be? 16.04.2026 23хвStart Your Transformation Now I answer this question in two parts because it can be answered two ways.First, one of the biggest causes of unhappiness is that people refuse to accept life as it is at the moment. Most people are living in the past or the future and complaining about where they are not. The “space” between where you are and your story about where you think you should be is what I call the “unhappiness gap for many people. We have to accept “what is” so that we can change and transform what is. Secondly, about seeing things as we want them to be. Einstein said, “Your imagination is your preview of coming attractions” in your life. Whatever you imagine, consistently, is what you program your unconscious mind with. Research demonstrates that poor people imagine staying poor and rich people imagine and daydream staying rich, hence, programming that manifest as behavior. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Accept life as it is in the moment and be grateful for all your blessings in life and next, focus on what you want, not on what you do not have. Ep 486: Use Your Imagination to Get Anything You Want 14.04.2026 37хвStart Your Transformation Now In this episode of The Jim Fortin Podcast, Jim Fortin reveals one of the most profound and underutilized powers available to every human being: the imagination. Far more than a place to daydream, imagination is what Jim calls the language of God — the invisible force that quite literally shapes every circumstance, relationship, and outcome in life. Drawing on wisdom from William James, Henry David Thoreau, and Ernest Holmes, Jim makes the compelling case that everything in the external world — money, health, relationships — is simply the effect of what has already been created in the imagination. Most people spend their lives reacting to appearances — the bank balance, the body in the mirror, the job they've outgrown — and treating those appearances as fixed facts. But Jim challenges that assumption entirely. Your circumstances are not facts. They are temporary effects. And the cause of every single one of them traces back to your imagination. The question is no longer whether you're using your imagination — you already are, constantly. The question is whether you're using it consciously, deliberately, and in your favor. If you've ever wondered why certain things just won't change no matter how hard you try, this episode gives you the missing piece — and a step-by-step practice to start using your imagination to get anything you want. What You'll Discover in This Episode: (00:00) Imagination is far more than daydreaming — Jim opens with a foundational reframe: imagination isn't fantasy, it's the God power within you, and every act of thinking is simultaneously an act of imagining. (09:34) Your circumstances are effects, not facts — Jim explains that the bank account, the body, and the bank balance are all temporary effects of a deeper cause — and that cause is always the imagination. (14:54) The critical difference between thinking of and thinking from — Most people imagine their desires from a place of lack and distance, when the key is to imagine already living from the fulfilled reality. (20:13) Why wanting something keeps it away — Jim reveals the counterintuitive truth: telling the universe you want something simultaneously tells it you don't have it — and the universe simply agrees. (25:34) How to bring your imagination to life with sensory detail — Jim walks through layering in sound, smell, touch, and physical sensation to make imagined realities feel real, and shares a powerful healing story from a student in his Transformational Coaching Program. (29:33) The bedtime practice that programs your subconscious overnight — Jim explains how the theta brainwave state just before sleep is the most powerful window to impress your desires onto the subconscious mind — and why what you "take to bed" can change everything. Listen, apply, and enjoy! Transformational Takeaway Your imagination is not a luxury — it is your salvation. Everything you currently have in your life was first created in the theater of your imagination. That means you are not a victim of your reality. You are its author. Know exactly what you desire. Create the mental scene as if it is already fulfilled. Give it texture — smell it, hear it, feel it. Hand it to your subconscious mind, especially in those precious moments just before sleep. Stop imagining from a place of lack and longing. Start imagining from the life you are already living in your mind. Your external world has no choice but to catch up. Ep 485: Throwback To Ep 221: The Psychology of Doing The Impossible 09.04.2026 57хвStart Your Transformation Now Have you ever wondered how truly powerful your mind is? We all hear different stories about the “Power of the Mind” but have you experienced that in your own life? Personally, I used my “mind” to heal from a stroke and heart failure, all of which happened in a single year, 2020. And, as I was healing I was searching Youtube for inspirational videos and stories. I had never even taken so much as a prescription until my ordeals and I was wondering and searching for, “How do I heal myself beyond what modern medicine says I can do? I came across a video by a man named Bob Cafaro and it was titled, “The Psychology Of Beating An Incurable Disease.” The title sucked me in immediately and the video did not disappoint. As a far of matter, it was the single most impactful video that I watched. Bob healed himself from an incurable disease, Multiple Sclerosis. You read that right. He headed himself 100% using the power of his mind. I’m ecstatic because I’m visiting with Bob in this episode and he shares the specific activities that healed him. Before I talked to him, I was blown away because as we were talking, he shared how he “did the impossible,” literally. So, how does the interview apply to you and help you live a better life? Easy, if you’re in any way physically ill listening to this podcast episode can do one of the most important things you ever do and if you’ve never been in such circumstances, Bob demonstrates the power of doing the impossible.
