Dr Jerry and Claudine Makhetha: What IS The Purpose Of Marriage? 09.07.2026 1год 18хвWhat Is Marriage Actually For?Many couples spend years learning how to be married without first understanding why they are married.Today, marriages are increasingly strained under the weight of unrealistic expectations, disappointment, conflict, emotional exhaustion, and unmet needs. As we watch more relationships struggle, one question continues to surface: Have many of us entered marriage without truly understanding its purpose? There is a powerful principle that says: If purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable.Perhaps before we discuss communication, intimacy, finances, parenting or conflict resolution, we need to return to a more foundational question: Why did God create marriage in the first place? We unpack all of this and more with (The Makhs Snrs) Ntate Jerry and Mama Claudine Makhetha.

In this deeply honest episode, we sit down with Tiisetso Kgomo to explore what it truly means to heal out loud. We reflect on a culture that often witnesses our breaking in public spaces, yet still expects our healing to happen quietly, privately and without disruption.Together, we unpack the pressure to “have it together,” the stigma around visible healing and the freedom that comes when we stop hiding the process of becoming whole. This conversation challenges the idea that healing must be silent, and instead asks: what if healing, like pain is also meant to be witnessed?#cofounderswiththemakhs #co.founders #themakhs#marriage #divorce #healing #tiisetsokgomo #healingoutloud #christianmarriage #christianmarriagecounseling

Precious The Planner: What Wedding Planning Exposes About Marriage 04.06.2026 1год 8хвUshering people into one of the greatest covenants of their lives is holy work and Precious does it with the utmost respect for the calling and excellence in everything she touches. One thing that stood out in our conversation: wedding planning is often a preview of marriage. How your partner handles finances, communication, pressure, conflict and keeping their word during this time often reflects how they’ll show up in marriage.A wedding doesn’t create these dynamics, it reveals them. The planning season has a way of exposing strengths, weaknesses, patterns and habits that will likely follow you into marriage. It’s often the first major project a couple undertakes together and how you show up in that season matters.Pay attention, not to find fault, but to gain wisdom and don’t hesitate to seek help if needed before you say “I do.”Such a powerful conversation with so many gems for couples preparing for forever.#weddings #marriage #weddingplanner #christianmarriage #counceling #vows
