At The Table | Elder Charmelle Meth | 15 August 2026 17.08.2026 54mElder Charmelle Meth's sermon, "At the Table," reminded the congregation that every believer is chosen, cherished, and called to reflect Christ rather than become an obstacle that prevents others from coming to Him. Using the story of Mary anointing Jesus at Bethany, she contrasted Mary's heartfelt act of gratitude with Simon's judgmental attitude, emphasizing that forgiveness should lead to transformation, humility, and compassion rather than self-righteousness. Drawing on examples from influential women such as Harriet Tubman, the women of Bellville SDA Church, and the prophetic ministry of Ellen White, she highlighted the importance of service, inclusion, and pointing people back to Jesus. The message challenged believers to remember that everyone stands equally before God as sinners saved by grace and that the church should welcome the broken, the hurting, and those seeking restoration. Ultimately, the sermon called on Christians to share the gospel through lives marked by love, gratitude, forgiveness, and a Christlike spirit that invites others to the table rather than turning them away. -

The message highlights the church’s responsibility to study and proclaim Bible prophecy, share the Three Angels’ Messages, seek the Holy Spirit, and remain united. The central question is: When our faith is tested, will we stand for Jesus? The appeal is to wake up, stand firm, proclaim God’s Word, and prepare for Christ’s return. -

Learning to Walk | Dr Adrian Platts | 25 July 2026 25.07.2026 30mDr. Adrian Platts' sermon, "Learning to Walk," explores what it truly means to live a Christian life worthy of God's calling, drawing from Ephesians 4. He emphasizes that the Christian walk is marked by humility, gentleness, patience, love, and unity rather than legalism, guilt, or striving to earn God's favor. Through personal stories and practical examples, he illustrates how kindness leaves lasting healing while harshness leaves lasting scars, reminding believers that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey. The sermon highlights that salvation is a free gift of God's grace through Jesus Christ, not something that can ever be earned through good works. Because believers have already been accepted by God, they are called to preserve the unity of the Spirit, live joyfully in the assurance of salvation, and respond to God's love with lives that reflect Christ's character. Ultimately, Christians are invited to stop trying to "balance the scales" through performance and instead walk daily in gratitude, grace, and the unshakable oneness they already share in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. -
From Fear to Faith - From Worry to Worship | Elder Colin Lawrence | 18 July 2026 19.07.2026 40mIn "From Fear to Faith – From Worry to Worship," Elder Colin Lawrence uses the story of Habakkuk to show that God welcomes honest questions during times of suffering and uncertainty. Although Habakkuk struggled to understand God's ways, he learned that true faith is trusting God's character even when His plans are unclear. The sermon highlights Habakkuk's transformation from fear, doubt, and worry to faith, praise, and worship. Reflecting on Habakkuk 3:17–19, Elder Lawrence reminds believers that joy is found not in favorable circumstances but in God's unchanging faithfulness. He concludes by encouraging Christians to trust God through every trial, live by faith, and hold firmly to the hope of Christ's soon return. -
Praise & Worship Divine Hour | Bellville SDA Music Team & Elders | 11 July 2026 19.07.2026 48mThe Divine Hour began with a joyful season of praise through beloved hymns such as "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," "To God Be the Glory," "Blessed Assurance," "How Great Thou Art," "He Hideth My Soul," and "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder." These songs celebrated God's unwavering faithfulness, saving grace, and the blessed hope of Christ's second coming, preparing the congregation's hearts for worship. The devotional message focused on Joshua 10:1–15, where Joshua prayed for the sun to stand still so Israel could complete the victory God had promised. The speaker emphasized that Joshua's extraordinary prayer was answered because it aligned with God's purpose. Believers were reminded that while God may not always answer prayers in the way they expect, He always hears sincere prayers offered in faith and according to His will. The congregation was encouraged to bring every burden before God, trusting Him to provide wisdom, healing, restoration, strength, or whatever best fulfills His divine plan. Following the message, the church entered a special season of prayer, with members praying together in pairs for their families, communities, church leadership, and God's guidance. This prayer emphasis reflected the theme of Total Member Involvement (TMI): "All Things New – Hope Starts Here," calling every believer to seek God's direction and participate actively in His mission. The closing challenge reminded the congregation that the church building is a place of encouragement and spiritual renewal, but the true mission field is found during the six days spent at home, work, school, and in the community. Drawing from Matthew 28:18–20, the speaker urged every believer to live in a way that reflects Christ, sharing His love through both words and actions. The service concluded with heartfelt prayers asking God to empower the church to faithfully fulfill the Great Commission, to love others unconditionally, and to be effective witnesses until Christ returns. -
Trust the eye that leads to the Table | Pastor Arnold Alexander | 04 July 2026 04.07.2026 23mPastor Arnold Alexander's sermon, "Trust the Eye That Leads to the Table," centers on Psalm 32:8, emphasizing that God's guidance flows from His unwavering love and proven trustworthiness. He explains that humanity's greatest question—whether God can truly be trusted—was first raised in Eden but answered decisively at the cross, where Christ revealed the Father's heart through His sacrifice. Connecting this truth to Holy Communion, he shows that the bread and cup are not only reminders of Christ's death but assurances that the same Saviour who gave His life now instructs, teaches, and lovingly guides His people. Drawing on the experiences of David, Peter, and Jesus in Gethsemane, he encourages believers to surrender their fears, doubts, and plans to God, trusting that His will is always motivated by redeeming love. As Christians approach the Communion table, they are invited to renew their confidence in Christ, whose watchful eye continues to lead, forgive, counsel, and faithfully direct every step of their journey. -

Fear God | Elder Justin Hendricks | 30 May 2026 31.05.2026 41mElder Justin Hendricks explains that the call to “Fear God” in Revelation 14 is not about being afraid of God, but about loving, trusting, and surrendering completely to Him. Never Too Young To Walk With Jesus | Elder Bongani Tshoma | 16 May 2026 16.05.2026 28mIn his sermon “Never Too Young To Walk With Jesus,” Elder Bongani Tshoma encouraged both young and old to faithfully walk with God, using the lives of Enoch and King Josiah as powerful examples. Drawing from 2 Kings 22 and Hebrews 11, he showed that age is never a barrier for God to use someone. Josiah became king at only eight years old in a spiritually corrupt nation, yet he chose to follow God instead of the evil example of his father and grandfather. The sermon highlighted four key lessons from Josiah’s life: God can use young people now, walking with God begins with hearing and obeying His Word, true faith requires removing idols from our lives, and a life devoted to God leaves a lasting legacy. Elder Tshoma challenged young people to serve God boldly in their youth and reminded parents and the church to model godliness at home and in the community. He concluded with a call for spiritual revival, urging believers to pray, study the Bible, and walk closely with Jesus despite the challenges and temptations of the world. Just as Enoch walked with God in an evil generation, Christians today are called to remain faithful and allow God to guide their lives daily. -

Drawing from stories such as the Shunammite woman in 2 Kings 4 and Revelation 3:20, he emphasized that creating room for Christ brings spiritual growth, strength in crises, and renewed purpose. The sermon also warned against merely appearing religious while keeping Jesus outside the heart.
