Power Encounter 2 20.08.2026 46mThe sermon outlines the concept of power encounter, distinguishing between personal defense against demonic attacks and the missionary's offensive ministry to expand God's kingdom. It identifies physical, spiritual, mental-emotional, and social realms as primary battlegrounds where Satan operates through fear, compulsion, and relational strife. The speaker emphasizes that believers must actively engage in spiritual warfare through prayer, fasting, and the renunciation of occult objects or ancestral sins. By claiming the authority of Jesus Christ and cleansing their environment, Christians can overcome demonic influence and experience deliverance. Ultimately, the message urges vigilance and reliance on divine power rather than human effort to maintain spiritual victory. -
Marks of a True Believer 20.08.2026 37mThe sermon examines the evidences of genuine faith found in the First Epistle of John, emphasizing that true believers exhibit specific marks of grace. It highlights three primary indicators: a sensitivity to sin and ongoing battle against it, a desire to keep God's commandments out of love rather than fear, and a sacrificial love for fellow believers. The preacher argues that these tangible changes distinguish authentic conversion from mere profession or intellectual knowledge. By observing one's attitude toward sin, obedience to Scripture, and relationships within the church, individuals can find assurance of their standing with God. The message concludes that walking in the light involves maintaining peace and love with other Christians, reflecting the character of Christ. -
God's Precision Guided Arrow 20.08.2026 21mThe sermon contrasts the faithful prophet Micaiah with the false prophets who flattered King Ahab, illustrating the danger of aligning with evil. It highlights how God allowed a lying spirit to deceive Ahab's court, leading to his death as a consequence of his wicked alliances. The narrative serves as a warning against fearing man or seeking comfort in lies rather than facing the uncomfortable truth of God's word. Ultimately, the message points to Jesus Christ as the one who absorbs God's judgment on behalf of believers, freeing them from fear and ensuring their safety. -
Ecclesiastes 8: Trusting God When Life Does Not Make Sense 20.08.2026 8mEcclesiastes 8 teaches that wisdom helps us navigate authority, injustice, and the mysteries of life with humility and faith. Dave Jenkins explains why earthly authority is limited, why evil may appear to prosper, and why believers must fear God even when His ways are beyond their understanding. Jesus entered our broken world, suffered injustice, and was crucified, yet through His suffering God accomplished redemption. The cross assures us that even when we cannot see what God is doing, He remains sovereign, wise, and good. Christians can therefore trust the Lord when life feels unfair and answers do not come quickly. Wisdom's Path 19.08.2026 47mThe sermon expounds on Proverbs chapter three, emphasizing the pursuit of divine wisdom as the foundation for a peaceful and faithful life. It highlights key commands to trust in the Lord with all one's heart, acknowledge Him in all ways, and fear God rather than relying on human understanding. The preacher connects these Old Testament principles to the New Testament reality of salvation through Jesus Christ, describing wisdom as a tree of life that brings spiritual health and favor. The message stresses the importance of internalizing God's word to manifest mercy and truth in daily conduct. Finally, it issues an urgent call to repentance and faith, urging listeners to accept Christ as Savior while they still have breath. -
The Lord's Prayer (2) 19.08.2026 21mPastor Mark Hogan teaches on the first petition of the Lord's Prayer, "hallowed be your name," from Matthew 6:9, explaining that to hallow means to treat as holy and that God's name represents His being, character, and glory. He clarifies that since God's name is already intrinsically holy, this petition is not adding to His perfection but asking that He enable His name to be universally recognized and reverenced. The message stresses that God's glory must be the primary priority in all prayers, since this petition is for ourselves, the church, and the world, and that the driving motivation for living according to the Sermon on the Mount—mortifying anger, lustful thoughts, and sins—should be to glorify God. He connects this to the Great Commission and evangelism, where the gospel spreads so others will learn to fear and hallow God's name, and to corporate worship, where His praise is declared. The sermon also points to the eschaton, the final day when every knee will bow and God's name will be perfectly hallowed in the new creation. Practical application includes examining our motives in prayer, asking whether we seek healing, forgiveness, or the salvation of children for our own comfort or for God's glory. He concludes that the desire to honor God is proof of the Spirit's work within us, and that this petition is a genuine request for God's action, not just a pious wish. -
God Is Trustworthy: Trust Him With All Your Heart 19.08.2026 10mIn the final episode of the 52-week Trust in the Lord series, Doreen Virtue considers God's attribute of trustworthiness from Proverbs 3:5–6. After spending decades in New Thought and New Age spirituality, Doreen had to learn from Scripture who God truly is and why He can be trusted. Rather than trusting our own understanding, attempting to control the future, or expecting God to conform to our timing, Christians are called to trust the Lord with all their hearts. Doreen explains how studying God's attributes strengthens our confidence in Him, why His character remains trustworthy even when prayers seem unanswered, and how believers can bring their fears, worries, and uncertainties to their sovereign and faithful God. Even when we cannot understand what God is doing, we can trust who He is. For more from Doreen, please visit: https://servantsofgrace.org/doreen-virtue/ -

It highlights Moses' life as a model of meekness and faithful service while noting his disobedience at Meribah as a consequence of sin. The preacher contrasts human effort with salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, urging listeners to rely on God rather than their own works. By examining the crossing of the Jordan River, the message encourages believers to embrace impossible tasks through divine presence and obedience to Scripture. Ultimately, it calls the church to sanctify itself and move forward in faith, trusting that God will accomplish wonders through them. -
Biblical Discernment in Political Culture 19.08.2026 1hModern political culture often rewards outrage, personality, tribal loyalty, and emotional reaction. The Testimony of Evangelist Tim Schmidt 18.08.2026 54mThe speaker shares his personal journey from a shy child to a dedicated evangelist, emphasizing that true revival begins with the church's desperation for God rather than reliance on religious structures. He recounts his conversion at age five, his struggles with self-doubt, and his eventual surrender to God's specific call to preach despite his introverted nature. The message highlights the necessity of daily engagement with Scripture and persistent prayer as foundational elements for sustaining ministry and overcoming fear. By illustrating how God used humble obedience and dependence on His Spirit to transform his life, the sermon encourages listeners to examine their own calling and commit fully to sharing the gospel. Ultimately, it calls for a lifestyle of complete surrender, trusting that God provides the power and opportunity for those who yield their lives entirely to Him. -
The Light Has Come 18.08.2026 42mThe sermon explores the profound contrast between divine love and human preference for darkness, centered on John chapter three. It emphasizes that God's extravagant love led to the giving of His Son not to condemn, but to save those who believe. The message highlights a critical division in humanity based solely on belief or unbelief in Jesus Christ, noting that judgment is already present for those who reject this light. Furthermore, it explains that individuals often flee from the light because their evil deeds fear exposure, yet the invitation remains open for anyone to come to the light through grace. Ultimately, the text calls listeners to examine their spiritual standing and trust in Christ, who bore the shame of judgment so believers might have eternal life. -

Obadiah Fearing the Lord 16.08.2026 29mWhen it says that "it came to pass after many days", we are to understand that it was the better part of a year and a half. Elijah had probably been about a year in the wilderness near the Brook Cherith, and probably about another year to a year and a half with the widow of Zarephath. Now the time had come, it says here, for Elijah to go and present himself to Ahab. And so, God gave Elijah this command by a direct revelation to his mind, that he should go and confront wicked Ahab, and then God would send rain on the earth. And so, Elijah went. The famine was severe in Samaria and things were getting quite desperate; especially in terms of water for the cattle. And so, wicked king Ahab called Obadiah, it says in verse 3, to tell him what he wanted him to do. Obadiah was in charge of Ahab's house as a steward. But what is even more significant for our consideration, is the fact which is related to us in the parenthesis in verse 3, where it says – Now Obadiah feared the Lord greatly. It is this statement that I want to focus your attention on, and draw lessons from it. What did this mean, that Obadiah feared the Lord greatly? And, what will it look like for us if we fear the Lord greatly? That is what we want to try and discover. So, 1st of all, we want to see that there are different kinds of the fear of the Lord which are described for us in the Bible. And 2nd – We want to see that there are different degrees of the fear of the Lord among those who really do know the Lord. Let's see if we can grow in our understanding of this vital doctrine, the fear of the Lord.
