Hospital Radio Reading (HRR) has been broadcasting to the patients and staff of the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading since 1957. Run entirely by volunteers, the station is on air 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, providing a mix of live and pre-recorded shows including music, news bulletins, comedy, short stories, Reading FC commentaries and patient requests. It can be heard via the Hospedia bedside system (channel 45), online at hrreading.org.uk, and on the TuneIn app.
