  • How To Be Richer Than Most 03.11.2026 11m
Having more was never the answer, and neither was the idea that if I could just achieve enough, earn enough, become enough, I'd eventually arrive somewhere that finally felt fulfilling. After ten years of self-mastery and I keep landing back on the same realisation... being rich has very little to do with how much you have, and everything to do with how much of your life you can actually enjoy. In this episode I'm talking about why the mind keeps moving the finish line, and how much we miss while we're waiting for a life that's already happening. KEY TAKEAWAYS The finish line keeps moving. You achieve the thing, enjoy the novelty, and it becomes your new normal. If you haven't learned to feel satisfaction along the way, there's no guarantee you'll suddenly find it when you arrive — you take the same mind into the bigger house. Ordinary isn't the same as insignificant. A moment being small doesn't mean it has to be experienced as small. The first sip of coffee at the right temperature, the cold air in your lungs, a clean bed — you can have an ordinary day with pockets of extraordinary beauty in it. Ambition and appreciation can coexist. Enjoying what you have doesn't mean abandoning what you want. You can want the six-figure months and still love your morning coffee — you can be becoming someone new without treating who you are today unkindly.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. That curiosity led me deep into the worlds of self-development, spirituality, psychology, philosophy, and human potential, always searching for a deeper understanding of life and the human experience. Like everyone else, I am still learning. Still evolving. Still discovering. But along the way, I have encountered ideas, perspectives, and principles that have profoundly shaped the way I see the world and navigate my own journey. Inner Wealth was born from that exploration. It is a space where I share the most meaningful insights, lessons, and truths I have uncovered, with the intention of helping others think more deeply, live more consciously, and create a life of greater fulfilment, purpose, and prosperity. At the core of everything I do is a simple intention: to contribute something meaningful and leave people a little wiser. Ultimately, my purpose is to be of service to humanity.   CONTACT ME Follow me on Instagram for more insights and to stay up to date with the pod @thesummerkang This podcast was brought to you by Frankly Podcasting.
  • Why People Hate to See You Win 27.10.2026 13m
A guy I went to school with sent me voice notes mocking the suit I wore at our live event in London — telling me I looked like a Roblox character and that no amount of money could make him embarrass himself like that. Rather than taking it personally...I laughed. And then it gave me three things worth talking about: what my reaction revealed about how far I've come, what's often going on for the person doing the mocking, and what it costs us when we let the fear of being laughed at decide how we live.   KEY TAKEAWAYS Your reactions are evidence of your growth. We look for proof of change in our achievements and circumstances, but the clearest evidence is how you respond to the things that once would have derailed you. Growth isn't immunity to other people's opinions — it's their opinions no longer carrying authority over how you see yourself. Their reaction is about their relationship with themselves. Two people can see the same thing and one looks for a reason to tear it down. Sometimes we ridicule in others what we haven't had the courage to pursue ourselves — it's easier than asking what someone else's choices reveal about our own. Decide you're willing to be seen trying. There will always be someone who doesn't understand what you're doing, and you can't build a life around preventing that. When we shrink to avoid judgement, we don't just limit ourselves — we deny the people who needed what we were going to create.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Become The Prayer 20.10.2026 8m
What if prayer was never meant to live only in the moments we close our eyes and ask? I've been noticing that the more present and intentional I am with whatever is in front of me — the work, the task, the person — the more connected I feel to something greater than myself. In this episode I'm sharing why prayer doesn't end when the words do, and what shifts when you stop only asking for the life you want and start becoming the channel for it.   KEY TAKEAWAYS Prayer doesn't end when the words do. It's the opening, not the whole thing. The way you work, the way you treat people, the intention you bring to the task in front of you — that's prayer lived rather than spoken. Devotion is in the details no one sees. The care you take with something nobody will notice, the attention you give someone when you've got a hundred other things on your mind — the difference can't be seen, but it can be felt. Become the thing you're asking for. If you're praying for love, how are you giving it? If you're asking for impact, are you serving the people already in front of you? When you live in alignment with what you're praying for, you stop unconsciously working against it.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • The Violent Collapse of Who You Were 13.10.2026 6m
What if the season you think is destroying your life is actually destroying the version of you that can't take you any further? We love talking about the breakthrough — the clarity, the quantum leap, who we become on the other side. We don't talk about the part before that, where your identity starts slipping and you question everything you thought you knew about yourself. In this episode I'm sharing why that collapse isn't you falling apart, it's you falling together.   KEY TAKEAWAYS The descent isn't the opposite of the journey — it is the journey. We've been conditioned to think progress always looks like moving forward, but sometimes it looks like losing all certainty first. Your story isn't your truth. We repeat the explanations we've built for our lives until they stop feeling like stories and start feeling like facts — and then they decide what we believe is possible. You can't become someone new while preserving who you've always been. The uncertainty doesn't mean you've lost yourself. It means the old way of understanding yourself no longer fits the vision.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Clarity Isn't the Answer 06.10.2026 5m
We've been fed a lie about clarity — that we need the full plan before we're allowed to move. But how are you supposed to be clear on something you've never tried? In this episode I'm sharing why clarity is the reward for action, not the requirement for it, and why the life you want isn't waiting at the point of certainty.   KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. Clarity comes through movement. It's the result of doing, not a prerequisite for it. One step reveals the next. 2. The first step doesn't have to make sense. It's there to disrupt the pattern — clarity rarely arrives while you're sitting in the energy that created the problem. 3. Staying still should scare you more. Taking the leap is frightening, but another year in the same place is the bigger risk. Courage creates movement.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Why Does the Inner Work Matter? 29.09.2026 6m
Last week I talked about how successful people are relentless. This week I want to add something: you can be relentless and still stay completely stuck if you're relentless about the wrong things. In this episode I'm talking about the difference between busy and moving, what's really underneath the avoidance, and why the season where nothing looks like it's happening might be the most important one. KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. Busy isn't the same as moving. You can take action for years without moving forward — buying the courses, making the plans, staying productive — while avoiding the one uncomfortable thing that would actually change something. 2. Avoidance isn't laziness, it's a belief. Underneath it is usually something like "I'm not worthy of this," "what if they judge me," or even "what if I succeed and everything changes." Until you deal with what's underneath, you'll keep circling the same cycle. 3. You're not behind — you might be underground. Before a skyscraper goes up, they spend months digging. The depth of the foundation decides the height of the building, and you can't add a foundation to a finished one. Whatever you skip now becomes your ceiling later.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Success Belongs to the Relentless 22.09.2026 6m
For years I was obsessed with what made the greats the greats — the athletes, the artists, the people who built businesses that outgrew everyone else's. What I found wasn't talent or intelligence or some absence of fear. It was that they were willing to keep going long after everyone else had stopped. In this episode I'm talking about why success belongs to the relentless: the people who can see something before there's any evidence it will work, who stop waiting for permission, and who keep choosing it on the boring days nobody claps for. KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. You have to see it before the world does. The greats become so familiar with a reality that doesn't exist yet that staying the same is no longer an option. Visualising the outcome isn't the work — becoming the person capable of creating it is. 2. Waiting for validation will cost you the vision. The life you're building will look irrational to people who haven't seen what you've seen. Stop asking "do you think I can do it?" and start asking "do I?" 3. Relentless doesn't mean running yourself into the ground. You can rest, change strategy, admit something isn't working — what you don't do is negotiate with the commitment. Life is built through thousands of small choices that snowball into everything.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • What If Your Words Aren't Just Words? 15.09.2026 5m
This week, we're stripping it back to the basics. Every word you speak is either blessing your life or cursing it — because your words don't just describe your reality, they participate in creating it. In this episode I'm sharing how a thought becomes a belief, becomes a behaviour, becomes the life you're living, and why the way you speak about your money, your health, your relationships and your future matters more than you think. KEY TAKEAWAYS Your words create, they don't just describe. Everything physical begins as a thought — you give it energy, it becomes your language, and eventually it becomes your reality. What you repeat becomes your identity. "I'm terrible with money." "I'm just an anxious person." Every repetition teaches your mind what to look for and what to create. You can name a hard season without living there. "I'm going through a difficult period" describes an experience. "My life is always difficult" creates an identity — one leaves the door open, the other bolts it shut.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Listen to this if you feel like a lost soul 08.09.2026 6m
If you feel lost, disconnected or like you've somehow lost yourself, this episode is for you. Your soul isn't broken or lost, but a noisy, untamed mind can make you feel that way. In this episode, I explore the difference between the voice of fear, conditioning and external expectations, and the quieter voice of your intuition. Sometimes feeling lost isn't a sign that you've lost your way; it's your soul calling you back to yourself.   KEY TAKEAWAYS You haven't lost yourself. What feels like being lost or broken may actually be disconnection from your intuition and the direction your soul is guiding you towards. Learn to distinguish the mind from the soul. Fear, conditioning, people-pleasing and the opinions of others can be incredibly loud, while your intuition often speaks much more quietly. Feeling lost can be an invitation back to alignment. When you're living in alignment with who you're becoming, you may still experience fear and uncertainty, but there's a sense of energy, expansion and aliveness behind your choices.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • The Final Stage of Spirituality 01.09.2026 9m
For a long time, spirituality can feel like a process of letting go — of attachment, material things, status and the need for more. But what if the deeper stage of spirituality isn't about escaping the human experience at all? In this episode, I explore what it means to want deeply, pursue an extraordinary life and enjoy everything this world has to offer, without allowing any of it to define your worth.   KEY TAKEAWAYS Non-attachment doesn't mean having no desires. You can want money, love, success, travel or an extraordinary life without needing those things to prove your worth. Detachment can sometimes be avoidance in disguise. If we stop ourselves from wanting anything because we're afraid of failure, disappointment or loss, that isn't necessarily freedom — it may be another form of attachment. Desire can be a portal to growth. What you want isn't always just about receiving the outcome. Sometimes your desires are pointing you towards the person you're being called to become in the process.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • When the Lesson Comes Back 25.08.2026 5m
When an old pattern or familiar lesson comes back into your life, it can feel like you've gone backwards. But maybe you haven't. Maybe you're being given the opportunity to meet the same lesson as a different version of yourself. In this episode, I reflect on boundaries, outgrowing relationships and what it really means to level up. Because real growth isn't about never facing the same situation again — it's about responding differently when you do. KEY TAKEAWAYS You haven't necessarily gone backwards when an old lesson returns. Sometimes life brings familiar patterns back because you're ready to understand, embody or apply the lesson at a deeper level. Knowing what you need to do and actually doing it are two different things. Growth requires us to close the gap between the person we say we're becoming and the choices we make every day. Leveling up often requires uncomfortable endings. Holding a boundary, having a difficult conversation or releasing a relationship doesn't mean it wasn't meaningful. Sometimes it simply means you've grown beyond what once fit your life.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Tectonic Plates Must Move: When Life Forces You to Change 18.08.2026 6m
Sometimes we know we're ready for something different, but we don't realise that creating a new life means allowing the foundations of the old one to shift. Just like tectonic plates moving beneath the earth, some of the biggest changes in our lives happen slowly, quietly and beneath the surface before everything eventually begins to look different. In this episode, I explore why transformation can feel uncomfortable, why we sometimes have to let old identities, relationships and ways of living shift, and why the disruption might actually be evidence that we're becoming who we're meant to be.   KEY TAKEAWAYS Growth requires movement. We can't create a new chapter while staying completely attached to the structures, identities and patterns that belonged to our old one. Discomfort doesn't always mean something is wrong. Sometimes the uncertainty, tension and disruption we experience are simply signs that we're being stretched beyond who we've been. Transformation often happens beneath the surface first. Just because you can't see the change yet doesn't mean nothing is happening. Trust the shifts that are taking place within you and allow them to create space for what's next.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Why Your Manifesting Isn't Working 11.08.2026 8m
For years, I believed discipline was the key to creating the life I wanted. But eventually I hit a point where no amount of hard work, vision boards or manifestation techniques could take me any further. The missing piece wasn't motivation—it was worthiness. In this episode, I explore why so many people unknowingly block the very things they're trying to manifest, how our subconscious beliefs shape what we allow ourselves to receive, and why true abundance begins with believing you're already worthy of it. KEY TAKEAWAYS Your sense of worthiness shapes what you can receive. No amount of affirmations, vision boards or manifestation techniques can override a subconscious belief that you're undeserving of the life you want. Self-sabotage is often an identity problem, not a motivation problem. When success feels unfamiliar, your mind will naturally try to pull you back towards the version of yourself it already believes you are. Discipline changes your behaviour, but worthiness changes your life. Real transformation happens when you stop trying to earn your value and start believing you're already worthy of receiving the success, love and abundance you've been working towards.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • God is Not a Genie 04.08.2026 9m
For a long time, I thought prayer was about asking God to change my circumstances. But I've come to realise that God isn't a genie who grants wishes—He's more like the greatest coach you'll ever have. Instead of simply giving us what we want, He guides us to become the person who can receive it. In this episode, I explore why some prayers feel unanswered, how discomfort is often the answer we've been asking for, and why changing the way we pray can completely transform the way we grow. KEY TAKEAWAYS God transforms you before He transforms your circumstances. Instead of removing every obstacle, He often uses challenges to strengthen your character and prepare you for what you've been praying for. The answer to your prayers may look like discomfort. Confidence, patience, resilience and love are developed through experiences that require you to practise them—not by avoiding them. Pray for who you're becoming, not just what you want. Rather than asking only for outcomes, ask for your blind spots to be revealed, your courage to grow, and the wisdom to recognise the lessons that are shaping you.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Expand or Shrink 28.07.2026 8m
Every day, life quietly asks you the same question: Will this expand you or will it shrink you? Most of us think transformation happens through one big decision, but it's actually built in the countless small choices we make every day. In this episode, I share a simple yet powerful mindset that has changed the way I approach relationships, opportunities, habits and difficult decisions. If you're feeling stuck between the person you've been and the person you're becoming, this episode will help you choose growth with greater clarity and courage. KEY TAKEAWAYS Growth is built through everyday decisions. Every conversation, habit, opportunity and boundary is a vote for the person you're becoming. Expansion often feels uncomfortable. Outgrowing people, places and old versions of yourself can feel lonely, but discomfort is often a sign you're evolving. A simple question creates powerful clarity. When faced with uncertainty, ask yourself: Will this expand my life or will it shrink it? The answer will often show you exactly what to do.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • Your Trauma is Not Your Personality 21.07.2026 6m
Healing isn't about pretending your past didn't happen—it's about refusing to let it define who you become. In this episode, I explore the difference between explanation and identity, why agency is the foundation of self-mastery, and how true freedom comes from choosing your response rather than trying to control everything life throws at you. Your past may have shaped you, but it doesn't have to become your personality. KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. Your past explains you—it doesn't define you. Trauma, conditioning, diagnoses and difficult experiences can help explain your patterns, but they don't have to become your identity. Healing begins when you stop handing your power to your past. 2. Agency is the foundation of self-mastery. You can't always control what happens to you, but you can choose how you respond. The space between an event and your response is where your greatest growth and freedom are found. 3. Real healing is reclaiming authorship of your life. Self-mastery isn't about avoiding pain or controlling every outcome—it's about taking responsibility for the life you create in response to whatever life places in front of you.
  • Remember You Must Die 14.07.2026 8m
Most people think the Latin phrase "Memento Mori" is simply a reminder that life is short. But what if its greatest lesson isn't about your final breath, but about all the smaller endings that shape who you become? In this episode, I explore why every season of growth requires the death of an old identity, why we suffer when we resist change, and how remembering that everything is temporary can help us live with greater presence, gratitude and courage. This isn't an invitation to fear death—it's an invitation to stop postponing your life.   KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. Growth is often an act of letting go. Transformation isn't just about becoming more—it's about releasing the identities, habits, beliefs and stories that no longer belong in the next chapter of your life. 2. Resisting endings creates unnecessary suffering. Much of our pain comes from trying to hold on to people, seasons and versions of ourselves that have already run their course. Growth begins when we allow those endings with grace. 3. Stop waiting for "later". Memento Mori reminds us that life isn't something happening in the future. This moment isn't preparation for your life—it is your life. The invitation is to fully experience it now.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • The Walk Home: What You're Really Looking For 07.07.2026 9m
In this episode, I reflect on feeling like an outsider throughout childhood and the deep longing to be understood, accepted, and truly seen. What I eventually discovered was that the desire itself was pointing towards something much deeper: the places where I was abandoning myself. This is an episode about self-acceptance, authenticity, and finally coming home to who you really are. KEY TAKEAWAYS Your deepest desires often reveal your deepest lessons. The desire to be understood, validated, chosen, or loved may be highlighting areas where you're withholding those same things from yourself. Instead of only trying to satisfy the desire, ask what it is trying to teach you. Belonging begins within. No amount of external validation, acceptance, or understanding can permanently fill an internal void. Lasting peace comes from understanding, accepting, and valuing yourself first. Authenticity attracts the right people. The more you embrace who you truly are, the less energy you waste trying to fit in and the more aligned your relationships become. Real connection happens when you stop hiding and allow yourself to be fully seen.   HOST BIO I'm Summer, Since the age of eleven, I have been captivated by the question of what it truly means to live well. • For When You Don't Trust God... 30.06.2026 7m
This week I share insights into what you can do when you don't feel like you can trust God, the universe, or the process. Because there are seasons where faith feels far away, and certainty feels impossible. I talk about how, in those moments, self-trust can become the bridge back to faith — not as a replacement for the divine, but as a recognition of what the divine has already placed within you. This is about learning to meet uncertainty with strength, and realising you are more capable of carrying yourself than you think.   KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. Faith isn't always something you feel — especially in uncertainty. There are seasons where trust in God, the universe, or the process feels distant, and that doesn't mean you're doing life wrong — it means you're human. 2. Self-trust becomes the bridge back to faith. When certainty disappears, the most stable thing you can lean on is your ability to handle whatever comes next, based on everything you've already survived. 3. Uncertainty is not a sign you're off track — it's often where growth happens. The moments that feel the most uncomfortable are often the ones that stretch you, reveal you, and develop your capacity to carry more than you thought you could.   HOST BIO I am Summer. A spiritual being having human experiences. From age 11 I have been obsessed with all things self-development; looking at it from every angle, in pursuit of finding answers for my life. Like all other humans I am figuring it out. Along the way I have discovered knowledge and concepts that have changed my existence and helped navigate my youth, The process of learning and undoing, growing, and evolving has led me right here. The host of 'Inner Wealth', where I bring together the most profound teachings I've learnt during my time here on earth; in hopes of making it a little easier for others to get to the same wisdom. Sharing the line of truth to living a prosperous life. • The Cigarette Break 23.06.2026 6m
In this episode of Inner Wealth, I explore what a cigarette break really represents — not the habit itself, but the pause underneath it. In a world that glorifies constant productivity, many of us have forgotten how to stop, breathe, and actually be present. I talk about why small intentional pauses might be one of the most powerful practices for reclaiming your attention, your presence, and ultimately your life.   KEY TAKEAWAYS 1. What we crave isn't always the habit — it's the pause. Smoking, tea breaks, or scrolling often serve the same hidden function: a brief return to stillness and presence in an overstimulated life. 2. A life without pauses becomes a life on autopilot. When you move from task to task without stopping, you lose presence — and without presence, time feels like it disappears rather than being lived. 3. The quality of your life is determined by the quality of your attention. Not your achievements or productivity, but how often you are actually here in the moment you're living.   HOST BIO I am Summer. A spiritual being having human experiences.
