  • Why We Tithe | C3 Nairobi 25.10.2026 56m
Will God curse you if you don't tithe? Most of us have heard some version of that warning, usually with a threat attached. This message takes the question head on, and the answer is better news than fear ever offered. The tithe, a tenth of income given to the church, is often dismissed as an Old Testament rule that passed away with the law. Yet the first tithe in Scripture appears centuries before the law was given, when Abraham, a man who walked with God by faith, gave a tenth to Melchizedek. So the practice still stands. What has changed is the curse. Malachi's warning was true for Israel under the old covenant, but Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Fear is no longer the motive. That clears away another assumption too. God does not need our money. Every animal of the forest and the cattle on a thousand hills already belong to Him. Funding the gospel matters, but it is a byproduct. What God asks for is the heart: "My son, give me your heart." Tithing becomes a practical way to remind ourselves that God, not a salary, is our source, and to choose faith over sight when every visible need pulls the other way.The message closes with a warning against treating generosity as a transaction. God is not a slot machine, and giving is not a way to bend His arm. Giving grows out of relationship with a Father who loves us whether we give or not, and our motive matters more than the amount. In this episode:Why the tithe predates the law, and what Abraham and Melchizedek show usHow the cross changes the way we read Malachi 3Why God does not need your money, and what He asks for insteadTithing as a practical step from living by sight to living by faithWhy giving from relationship outlasts giving from fear or formulaGenerosity was never about what God could squeeze out of you; it was always about your heart.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Fixed Worth, Growing Value | C3 Nairobi 11.10.2026 1h 10m
In 2007, one of the world's finest violinists played Bach in a Washington subway station on an instrument worth millions. About a thousand people walked past. He made $32. Three nights earlier, people had paid $100 a seat to hear him.Same musician. Same violin. Same music. The only thing that changed was the room. This message is about the gap between what you are worth and what you are paid. Your worth was settled by God, and no salary, invoice or rejected quote can raise or lower it. But the value you bring to the world, and what the world pays for it, can grow. It asks the question churches usually skip: how do followers of Jesus earn well, honestly and to the glory of God?It moves in three steps. First, recognise what God has placed in your hands, from Bezalel in Exodus, filled with the Spirit for craftsmanship, to the skills you may never have thought of as spiritual. Second, develop them with diligence, because rain only helps the farmer who has planted. Third, position them wisely, so you are not playing for $32 in a place that was never going to see what you carry. Along the way you will hear how a lost job, three weeks after a wedding, became the start of a new career, and why paying people well is not generosity but duty. The goal is not a bigger lifestyle. It is a bigger pie: more to steward, give and pour into family, community and the kingdom. In this episode:Why work came before the fall, and why Monday is not a curseThe difference between price and value, and what a client really means when they say you are too expensiveHow to use wisdom in your career while staying open to God's interruptionsThree ways the market pays you: for your input, your output, or the value you createHow to position your work so the right people see it, from customer awareness to a simple weekly reportSome are called to the subway and some to the concert hall, but nobody should stay in the subway just because they never learned the way out.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Faithful with What Is Entrusted | C3 Nairobi 04.10.2026 1h 6m
Ten guests went out to meet a bridegroom. Only five thought to bring extra oil. When he ran late, theirs were the only lamps still burning. Most of us were taught how to earn money, and the world is very good at teaching us how to spend it. Almost nobody teaches us how to manage it. This message starts with a simple conviction: everything in your hands has been entrusted to you by God, and faithfulness is not measured by the size of your balance but by what you do with what you have.Borrowing the image of Jesus' story of the ten bridesmaids, and the small, wise ant of Proverbs that stores up food before winter, this episode lays out a clear and workable plan. Give first. Live on about sixty percent of your take-home pay. Then give every remaining portion a specific job before the month decides for you. It is honest about the late paycheck, the hospital bill nobody planned for, and the stolen phone that wrecks a perfect budget. It is just as honest about the slow pressure that keeps good earners broke: comparison, upgrades, and a lifestyle that grows every time the income does. Whether you are building your first budget, carrying debt, or simply trying to make it to next payday, you will find a place to start here, and a reason to start now.In this episode:Why giving comes first, and why it is a question of the heart before it is a question of the pocketThe emergency fund as your jar of oil: what it is for, what it is not for, and how to set a first three-month targetA replacement fund for the big expenses that always arrive unannouncedHow small, faithful amounts saved early grow into real security for retirementPractical ways to resist lifestyle creep, from where you live to how long you keep your phoneLife will throw curveballs. This is how you make sure your lamp is still burning when they land.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • More Than My Balance | C3 Nairobi 27.09.2026 58m
Open your banking app and look at the number. Now notice what it does to your chest. Panic? Pride? Fear about the month ahead?Every one of those reactions is understandable. But underneath them sits a bigger question: does that number actually tell you who you are? This message is not anti-money. Money is good, prosperity is not wicked, and nobody is closer to God because they are broke. But money makes an offer: security, significance and status. The offer is attractive because it is partly true, and that is exactly what makes it dangerous.Jesus tells the story of a farmer whose harvest overflowed, and instead of widening his world, it shrank it. He fed his soul on his inventory, and God called him a fool. Then Jesus names the real issue: you cannot serve God and be enslaved to money. Whatever you treasure quietly shapes your heart, and the heart is more than feelings. It is your will, your character, the core of who you are.So where does your worth actually come from? Before Jesus had preached a sermon or performed a public miracle, the Father called him his beloved Son. Identity came before performance. In the wilderness, Jesus refused to prove himself through bread, power or glory, because he already knew who he was.And at the cross, the record against us was cancelled and paid in full. A price tag is set by the market and moves every day. Your value was fixed at the cross, and it does not move at all.In this episode:Why Jesus never condemns the rich farmer for succeeding, and what he condemns insteadThe Greek word for greed, and why its appetite has no ceilingWhat the Bible means by "heart," and why your feeds and habits are forming yoursThe difference between the price of something and its valueHow the baptism and temptation of Jesus settle identity before achievementYou are not what you earn. You are not what you achieve. You are who you are in Christ.Learn to hold money without letting money hold you.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Stewardship | C3 Nairobi 20.09.2026 51m
Open your hands. Look at them. What's actually in there?Nothing, not permanently anyway. Everything you're holding today, your time, your talent, your relationships, your money, was given to you by someone else, and one day it goes back. This message asks the question most people avoid: if none of it is really yours, what does it mean to manage it well? The starting point is ownership. Before stewardship makes sense, you have to settle who owns what you're holding. From there comes a simple framework: it belongs to someone else, it's entrusted to you, you're responsible for how you handle it, and you'll eventually give an account for it. That last part is the one most people skip past fastest. The message pushes beyond money into six areas everyone is stewarding whether they realize it or not: time, talent, relationships, influence, opportunities, and resources. Wasted time, buried talent, neglected relationships, misused influence, missed doors, and mismanaged money all get named as the same problem wearing different clothes. And on money specifically, one line lands hard: it's meant to be managed, not worshipped. In this episode:The four part framework for stewardship: ownership, entrustment, responsibility, accountabilityWhy nothing you own leaves with you, and what that should change todayThe six areas everyone is stewarding, not just moneyWhy money is meant to be managed, not worshippedPermission to actually enjoy what's been entrusted to you, not just give it all awayYou won't walk away with a five-step plan. You'll walk away asking better questions about what's already in your hands.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Discerning False Teachers | 2 Peter Ch 2 | C3 Nairobi 23.08.2026 1h 12m
Counterfeits are everywhere. A watch that looks like a Rolex but reads a different name on the dial. Shoes stitched to look like a famous brand but spelled just a little bit wrong. The fake only fools you until you look closely, and Peter says the same is true of false teachers in the church. This episode moves through 2 Peter 2, where Peter turns from encouragement to warning. He has just reminded believers that they have been given everything they need for a godly life. Now he says the greater danger to the church was never persecution from outside, it was persuasion from within. Drawing on Jesus' charge to Peter in John 21 to feed the flock and take care of the flock, Kevin Vikilu shows why shepherding has always carried two halves: nourishing people with truth, and naming danger before it does damage. The heart of the message is a simple but unsettling idea: appetite reveals identity. A false teacher may have a platform, a gift, even a Bible in hand, but what they consistently pursue, protect, and return to tells you who they actually are. Peter points to Balaam, a genuinely gifted prophet who loved money more than obedience, as proof that gifting was never a stand in for character. The episode also unpacks Peter's warning about counterfeit freedom, the kind that promises liberty but delivers slavery, and why a dog returning to its vomit and a washed pig returning to the mud are pictures of transformation that never actually happened. In this episode:Why Peter frames the church's greatest threat as internal, not externalThe shepherd's twofold calling to feed the flock and protect the flockWhat "appetite reveals identity" means for spotting a false teacherThe Balaam warning: why spiritual gifting never guarantees godly characterHow counterfeit freedom always leads back into bondageYou do not need sharper detection skills. You need a deeper knowledge of the true Shepherd.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Exceedingly Great and Precious Promises | 2 Peter Ch 1 | C3 Nairobi 16.08.2026 1h 7m
What if everything you need for a full, godly life has already been provided? Not promised for someday, but given, secured, and waiting to be received? That is the claim Peter opens with in his second letter. Writing to believers scattered across a hostile empire, facing real persecution under Emperor Nero, he does not offer sympathy or survival tips. He points them to something more durable: the exceedingly great and precious promises of God, given through his divine power, sufficient for everything that pertains to life and godliness. The sermon works through 2 Peter chapter one from the ground up. It begins with the phrase "like precious faith," from verse one, and the Greek word behind it: isotimos, meaning of equal value or honour. Every believer carries the same quality of faith. The question is never whether you have it. The question is whether you know how to work it. From there the teaching moves to verse two, where Peter ties the multiplication of grace and peace directly to the knowledge of God.Not head knowledge or accumulated information, but the intimate, conceived, life-producing knowledge that the scriptures model from Genesis onward. The parable of the sower frames what that looks like practically: different conditions of heart produce different yields from the same seed. The Word is always incorruptible. The variable is always the soil.Verses five through eleven call believers to build on that foundation diligently and consistently, adding virtue, knowledge, self-control, perseverance, godliness, brotherly kindness, and love. Peter closes the chapter by anchoring everything in the reliability of scripture itself: even his own eyewitness account of the transfiguration is surpassed by the more sure word of prophecy. The written Word is not a consolation prize for those who were not there. It is the greater gift.In this episode:Why "like precious faith" means every believer carries the same quality of faith as the early apostles, and what it means to work itHow grace and peace are multiplied through intimate, meditative knowledge of God rather than information aloneThe parable of the sower as a diagnostic for the condition of your heart toward the WordThe chain of virtues in 2 Peter 1:5-7 and why diligence is not optional for fruitful Christian livingWhy Peter places the written Word above his own eyewitness testimony, and what that means for how you approach scriptureGod has withheld nothing. The invitation now is to know him well enough to receive what he has already given.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Knowledge, the Foundation of Abundant Life | C3 Nairobi 09.08.2026 53m
An elephant that could snap a chain in seconds spent months tied to a stake with a rope it could have broken on day one. When they finally removed the rope, the elephant still only walked the same small circle. The chain was gone. It had just moved from its leg to its mind. That's the picture that opens this message: most limits people carry are not around them, they are within them. Nothing changes around you until something changes within you, and the mind you carry determines the life you live. From there the message moves through Scripture to make one central case: knowledge, real knowledge of what has already been made available, is the foundation of a full and free life. Using the flood narrative in Genesis as a picture of the Word doing deeper and deeper work in a life, and the story of the prodigal son's older brother who lived like a servant despite already owning everything his father had, the point lands again and again. You cannot walk in what you do not know you have. The message pushes past information into application. Knowing truth and living free are not the same thing, and the difference between the two is often the one thing holding someone back from the life they are seeking. This is a call to press further than familiarity with the Book into an active pursuit of what it actually offers. In this episode:The story of the circus elephant and how a limit can outlast its causeWhy nothing around you changes until something changes within youA walk through the flood narrative in Genesis as a picture of the Word at work in a lifeThe prodigal son's older brother and the cost of not knowing what you already haveWhy truth must be applied, not just known, to be experienced as freedomSome things you already own. • What's On Your Mind? | 1 Peter Ch 4 | C3 Nairobi 19.07.2026 50m
You can spend five hours in prayer and still live defeated. Not because prayer is weak, but because you never dealt with what was reigning in your mind while you prayed. This message opens 1 Peter 4 with a single question that refuses to let go: what are you allowing to sit on your mind? Peter writes to believers under pressure, people whose neighbours have started calling their new life strange, and his instruction is not to manage their circumstances but to arm their thinking. The image is a runner tucking a long garment into a belt so it cannot trip him. Loose thinking entangles. Sober thinking runs. From there the message moves through three things worth minding.First, your union with Christ. The cross was not only Jesus dying for you, it was Jesus dying as you, the just becoming the unjust so that nothing of the old you survived the resurrection. Sin, then, is what you do when you forget who you are. Second, others. The opinions of people are grass, beautiful for a fortnight and then dying vegetation, yet the love that covers a multitude of sins is not your love at all. It is God's love working in you before it ever works through you, and it has enough courage in it to go to a brother directly instead of dressing an offence up as a prayer request. Third, suffering. When the fiery trial comes, the word that steadies you is the one Peter opens with: beloved. In this episode:Why "gird up the loins of your mind" is a running instruction, not a spiritual oneThe difference between dying with Christ and dying as Christ, and why it changes how you fight sinGrumbling as a fuel gauge, an indicator light rather than a character flawHow love that covers sin still has hard conversationsLiving from God instead of living for God, and why burnout follows the secondYour circumstances are the worst barometer of how God feels about you. • Why Suffering Isn't the End | 1 Peter Ch 3 | C3 Nairobi 12.07.2026 45m
The whole point of the psalm about guarding your tongue was written by a man drooling into his beard to survive a hostile king. David faked madness before Achish to stay alive, and Peter reaches for exactly that psalm when he writes to believers living under a hostile empire. Watch your mouth was never just polite advice. It is how the suffering righteous have always made it through. This message works through 1 Peter 3, from how we treat one another to the hardest question in the chapter: what do you do when doing good still gets you hurt? The answer is not to trade insult for insult or to pretend the valley is not real. Faith does not deny the valley. It refuses to let the valley define God. There is a way to be honest about pain without spiritual whitewashing, to be sympathetic without pity, humble without shrinking, and ready to answer the person behind every hard question rather than dodging it.The chapter then opens onto its boldest claim. Christ suffered once, the righteous for the unrighteous, and after His death He made a proclamation of victory. Whether those imprisoned spirits are Old Testament saints or fallen angels, the announcement lands the same way: the suffering is temporary, the war is already declared won, and every power in heaven and earth is now in submission to Him. If you are suffering for doing what is right, that is the ground you stand on.In this episode:Why returning insult for insult always feels good and ends badlyThe word of faith trap: how "I am well" can leave you alone in your painAnswering the person, not just the question, behind every challenge to your faithThe two readings of the imprisoned spirits, and why the point holds either wayDoes baptism save you? The wedding ring answer that settles itSuffering for doing good is not the end of your story. It is proof the war is already won.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • A Royal Priesthood in a Strange Land | 1 Peter Ch 2 | C3 Nairobi 28.06.2026 58m
What happens when the culture around you keeps pulling you toward a version of life you were never meant to live? Peter wrote to a scattered, pressured people who needed an answer to that exact question, and his answer still holds today. This episode walks through 1 Peter chapter 2, unpacking what it means to be chosen, built into something bigger than yourself, and set apart for a purpose that has nothing to do with where you happen to be standing. The Old Testament split kings and priests into separate roles. In Christ, believers carry both, spiritual authority and a mandate to represent heaven wherever they land, whether that is Nairobi, London, or anywhere in between. From there the conversation turns practical. How do you conduct yourself in a society that does not share your values? How do you honor authority without losing your convictions? The difference between submission and obedience gets real attention here, because you can respect a system without agreeing with every part of it, and Christ himself modeled that tension under far greater pressure than most of us will ever face.In this episode:What it means to be chosen and built as a royal priesthoodHow to conduct yourself as an ambassador in a society that does not share your valuesThe difference between submission and obedience, and why it mattersLiving with eternal hope as your true identity, not your circumstancesChrist's example under suffering, and what it means to follow itYou are not a permanent resident here. • Ransomed and Reborn | 1 Peter Ch 1 | C3 Nairobi 21.06.2026 32m
Can you love someone you have never seen? Peter says yes, and he says it produces a joy that words cannot hold. This episode walks through the second half of 1 Peter chapter 1, tracing what it means to belong to God not as a slave under obligation, but as a child who has been ransomed at an unthinkable price. The message opens with a contrast between sight dependent loyalty, the kind that only follows what it can verify, and a faith that trusts even without seeing. That contrast becomes the doorway into everything Peter writes next. From there the teaching moves into the cost of that ransom. Not silver, not gold, both of which lose their value, but the blood of Christ himself. That price reframes everything: an identity that does not come from status, money, or the empty patterns handed down from previous generations, but from being adopted into a family where obedience flows from love rather than fear. The sermon closes by asking a question every listener will have to sit with: is your witness for Jesus bold, or has it quietly become a secret one?In this episode:Why faith without sight produces a joy that circumstances cannot touchThe true cost of the ransom paid for us, and why gold and silver could never cover itThe difference between obedience as a slave and obedience as a beloved childHow inherited patterns of chasing money, status, or pleasure fall short without God at the centerA direct challenge to examine whether your faith is visible or hiddenThis is a message about identity, cost, and the kind of love that outlasts everything else.www.c3churchnairobi.com
  • Living as Foreigners with Hope | 1 Peter Ch 1 | C3 Nairobi 14.06.2026 35m
You sneeze in a foreign market and the whole crowd scatters. Suddenly you understand something you never felt at home: you don't belong here. That dislocation is not a problem to fix. According to Peter, it's the whole point. This message opens the first letter of Peter, written to believers who had been scattered across hostile territory, living as resident aliens with no civic standing and no guarantee the world would warm to them. They had said yes to Jesus expecting things to get easier. Instead, they got harder. Peter's answer is not a promise that the pressure will lift. It's a reminder of who they are and what is already secured for them, kept somewhere change and decay cannot reach. The heart of it is an inheritance you cannot lose. Every earthly thing you accumulate, the penthouse, the car, the savings, sits within reach of rust and ruin, and none of it travels where you are going. Peter points past all of it to a treasure already held in safekeeping, and he insists this changes how you live right now.You stop bracing for collapse and start living with expectation. The trials are real, but they are one chapter, not the whole book, and they are doing something: testing faith the way fire purifies gold, proving it genuine. This is also a word about restoration, that the same God who lifted Peter after he failed refuses to let cancel culture have the final say over anyone who returns to Him.In this episode:Why feeling like a foreigner in this world is a sign of belonging, not a defectThe difference between an inheritance that decays and one kept beyond all reachHow to read trials as a single chapter rather than the entire story of your lifeWhat it means that genuine faith is proven, not just professedWhy a community of grace refuses to throw the last stone at the fallenYour circumstances are loud, but they are not the final word. • The Witness Within Us | C3 Nairobi 10.05.2026 45m
You were never meant to navigate life alone. Before Jesus ascended, He made a promise that would change everything: the Helper was coming. Not as a distant force or a religious concept, but as a Person. One who would live within you, speak to you, and remind you of exactly who you are. This message from Naomi Lombard unpacks one of the most underestimated realities in the Christian life: the Holy Spirit is not here to expose you. He is here to remind you. There is a difference between condemnation and conviction, and understanding that difference can completely reshape how you relate to God. Conviction draws you closer. It does not push you away.Drawing from John 16, 1 Corinthians 2, and the Song of Solomon, Naomi traces the threefold ministry of the Holy Spirit: He convicts of sin, righteousness, and judgment. But not in the way most people expect. The sin He convicts of is the root sin of not trusting Jesus. The righteousness He convicts of is yours, in Christ. And the judgment He reminds you of is the devil's, not yours. He is continuously pointing you back to your identity, your inheritance, and your victory. In this episode:Why conviction and condemnation are not the same thing, and why the distinction mattersHow the Holy Spirit's primary ministry is revealing what you already have in ChristWhat it means to find yourself in Scripture, the way Jesus and John the Baptist didWhy God wants to speak into the things that confuse and trouble you, big and smallHow the Holy Spirit is singing over you right now, and what it means to become familiar with that songThe witness within you is not silent. Imagine standing in a room and taking one step forward every time life handed you an advantage. Private schooling. A safety net. Connections. Paved roads. And then the room goes quiet, and you look around, and the gaps are obvious. Some people are ten steps ahead. Some are still at the back wall. The world has a lot to say about those gaps. It says the ones at the front are more likely to make it. It says the gaps are permanent. It says your starting line is your destiny. But the Holy Spirit is a great disruptor. This episode opens with a striking exercise that exposes how much of our positioning in life was shaped by factors we never chose. Then it does something unexpected: it refuses to leave you there. Because the real gap is not between people in a room. It is between who you are right now and who the Spirit is commissioning you to be.In this message, we explore what it means to grow in the knowledge of the Holy Spirit. Not just that He lives in you, but what He actually came to do. He does not come simply to comfort. He comes to enlarge. He expands your identity, your vision, your courage, and your capacity to carry what God has placed in your hands. In this episode:Why impostor syndrome is not a confidence problem but a theology problemHow the Holy Spirit upgrades your identity before He upgrades your circumstancesThe difference between information and illumination, and why only one of them changes your futureWhat it means to move in courage before you feel readyWhy the oil stopped when the vessels ran out, and what that reveals about your capacityYour starting line was largely outside your control. • Hearing God's Voice | C3 Nairobi 19.04.2026 1h 3m
Most people are not waiting for God to speak. They are waiting to hear something that confirms what they have already decided. The Hebrew word for "hear" is shema, and it does not separate hearing from obeying. They are the same motion. Biblical hearing is not acoustic or passive. It is a whole-life response: understand, believe, act, move.Philip demonstrated this when he left a thriving revival in Samaria to stand on a desert road, with no explanation given. He heard. He moved. And on that road he found one man who would carry the gospel into Africa. God rarely gives the full picture. He gives the next step. And the next step is only available to the person who obeyed the last one.But hearing gets complicated because three voices are speaking into your life at any given moment: the enemy, your own desires, and God. The most dangerous of the three is not the enemy. It is you.Your own ambition can generate an internal voice that sounds exactly like conviction, that feels exactly like God. Discernment is not the ability to tell right from wrong. It is the ability to tell right from nearly right. And it is not a gift that arrives fully formed. It is a capacity built over time, by reason of use, by years of bringing decisions before God and tracking what happens. In this episode:Why hearing God is obedience, not passive receptionHow to identify the three voices speaking into your life, and why your own voice is the most dangerousWhat discernment actually is, and how confirmation bias quietly distorts itHow community is not optional for the hearing life, and what to do when two sincere believers claim opposite words from the same GodHow to cultivate a hearing life, and why seasons of silence are not abandonmentHe is not silent. • When God Speaks | C3 Nairobi 11.04.2026 41m
You are not waiting for God to say something. You are waiting for him to say something you agree with. That is the real problem. Most of us have been told that hearing God is a rare, mystical experience reserved for a select few with a special spiritual connection. The result is that ordinary believers outsource their entire relationship with God to someone else's voice, and then wonder why they feel so far from him. This message takes that idea apart and rebuilds something far more grounded and far more personal. The sermon starts not with the channels but with the architecture. God is Trinitarian. The Father initiates. The Son is the Word made flesh, a message so complete that everything before it was partial and pointing. The Holy Spirit takes that word and makes it living and active in you, specifically. This is not mysticism. It is covenant. And a covenant, by definition, requires communication. The primary channel is Scripture, and this sermon does not let you off the hook about it. God has already spoken extensively across the whole of human experience, through melancholic prophets, a king writing songs in a cave, a wise man in existential crisis. All of it is one story. All of it points to one person. And most of us have the instructions sitting unopened while we wonder why life is not assembling correctly. In this episode:Why God speaks through covenant, not because he is warm or communicative by natureThe Trinitarian architecture of how God communicates, and what each person of the Trinity doesWhy Scripture is the primary channel, and what that actually demands of youThe role of wisdom: when a new prophetic word is not what you needDreams, the still small voice, other people, and inner conviction as real, tested, and biblical channelsThe door is being knocked on. • The Cross & the Comeback | C3 Nairobi 05.04.2026 1h 4m
She came to that garden with burial spices and nothing left to believe for. Head down. Red-eyed. Ready to anoint a corpse. She left running, carrying the greatest announcement in human history. That is the resurrection. Not a symbol. Not a sentiment. A fact, witnessed by hundreds, recorded by eyewitnesses, verified by an empty tomb that not even the Romans could explain away. This Easter message traces the story of Mary Magdalene in the garden and finds in it something that speaks directly to anyone living in what Pastor Kevin calls a Saturday season. Saturday is the day between the death and the resurrection. It is when the diagnosis did not change, when the marriage did not recover, when the prodigal has not come home, when heaven feels silent. The disciples went to sleep on Saturday night with no hope and no promise. But we are reading this story from the other side. We know Sunday is already scheduled. From mistaken identity to one word that ended the longest weekend of Mary's life, from the triumphal procession of ancient Rome to the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now living permanently in your body, this sermon builds to a declaration that is not theoretical. The tomb is empty. Death is defeated. And you are not waiting to be empowered. You already are.In this episode:Why Mary could not recognise Jesus and what that reveals about how we miss God moving in our livesThe difference between Saturday grief and Sunday hope, and how to hold both at onceWhat Romans 8:11 actually means when it says the resurrection Spirit lives in youWhy the encounter always leads to a mission, and what yours already isHow to stop fighting for a victory that has already been wonThe parade has started. Take your place in it.www.c3churchnairobi.com
