This is an audiobook recording of Thomas More's Utopia in Ralph Robinson's 1556 English translation, with a foreword by William Morris. The first book introduces the traveller Raphael Hythloday and his conversation with More in Antwerp. The second book presents Hythloday's account of the island of Utopia, its customs, laws, religions, economy, language, and relations with other nations. It describes an imagined society where property is held in common and money does not exist, removing poverty, hunger, fear, and most crime, while More himself remains partly unconvinced by the narrator's arguments.
