He came to bear our sins, suffer in our place, die on the cross for our forgiveness, and rise again to give us life and salvation.In this episode, we explore why Christ came into the world, what He accomplished on the cross, and why His saving work is the very heart of the Christian faith. From Genesis to Revelation, the Scriptures point us to Christ as the Savior of sinners.The Lutheran Confessions faithfully confess this biblical truth.   In this opening episode, we introduce the work of Lutheran Heritage Foundation (LHF) and explore its ministry throughout the years. LHF exists to make Christ known by providing faithful, Bible-based, and Christ-centered and Reformation Driven resources to people around the world.Through the publication and translation of books, LHF seeks to bring the message of God's Word to people in the language they understand. These books are deeply rooted in the Lutheran Confessions and faithfully proclaim the biblical teaching of salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.In this podcast, we continue that mission by bringing the Gospel to sinners as it is confessed in the Book of Concord. We invite you to join us as we explore Scripture and the Lutheran Confessions, proclaiming the historic Christian faith with clarity, confidence, and faithfulness to God's Word.
