LDC Radio

LDC Radio, also known as 97.8 FM Leeds, is a popular community radio station based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Specializing in a wide variety of dance and urban music, LDC Radio is the go-to station for genres such as House, Hardcore, Jungle, Drum & Bass, Grime, Dubstep, Reggae, Ragga, Soul, Hip Hop, R&B, and more. The station also features unreleased music from local artists and provides speech content that includes shout-outs, dedications, news bulletins, and local information. Notable presenters on the station include Hard Dance DJ Amber D, former Radio Aire & Minster FM presenter Carl Kingston, and YouTube personality Danny Malin, among others​. Launched in June 2020 in collaboration with Leeds Beckett University, LDC Radio has grown to become a significant part of the local media scene.
