  "Why do that to such a gentle man? If they had wanted his money, he would have given it to them."On the evening of 21 October 2009, 50-year-old Alan Wood dropped by his local pub, the Willoughby Arms, in the nearby town of Little Bytham. He had a pint and a snack while he read the newspaper, and then headed home to his bungalow in nearby Lound at approximately 6:30 PM. It was a typical night for him and nothing seemed to be out of the ordinary.For the next three days, no one heard from him. He didn't show up for his scheduled shifts at a Sainsbury's supermarket. When called, he didn't answer. It wasn't until that weekend - the 24th of October - that a friend and colleague from Sainsbury's went to go check on Alan.   "We do have him making some purchases at a cleaners. Also, we have some activity on some local roadways, and then he vanishes." On Saturday, 26 May 2012, 36-year-old Adrian Washington set out to take care of some things. First, he stopped by Planet Fitness on the north side of Austin, Texas, just after nine in the morning. Then, he dropped by Fine Dry Cleaners, where he was also a regular. After that, he made contact with some people by phone, including his sister, LaTeasha. But the normally-social Adrian was surprisingly curt and formal, and he cut their conversation short after just a moment.Almost immediately thereafter, Adrian vanished, leaving behind his family, friends, wife, and children.   "I always thought she would walk through the door."In late December 1976, a camper was spending time down in the Florida Keys. He was camping in an area known as the rock pit alongside US Route 1 on Grassy Key, a limestone quarry site used by campers and party-goers alike. While there, though, he was approached by a man he later described as a "hippie-type," who offered to show him a decomposing human body for a quarter. The camper declined and called the Monroe County Sheriff's Office.On December 30th, Detective Richard Roth was dispatched to investigate. Following the camper's directions, he made his way into the heavily wooded area near the rock pit.   "He got up, got ready for work and fell off the planet."On the afternoon of Tuesday, 21 July 2015, 34-year-old Jeremiah Foco was working from home. His laptop's hard drive had crashed, and he told his manager that he would be coming into their Bellevue, Washington office the following day to get it repaired. It was a routine plan. Nothing about the conversation raised any red flags.That night, surveillance camera footage from Jeremiah's apartment complex showed him pulling his car into the building's parking garage at 12:07 AM. He parked his car, and presumably went inside to his apartment.   "Congress and the public deserve a clear answer about whether the Epstein Estate paid a settlement to an accuser who made serious allegations against Donald Trump, and who was interviewed four times by the FBI."On 24 February 2026, NPR reporter Stephen Fowler published an investigative report comparing the public database of Epstein files released by the DOJ on January 30th with the Ghislaine Maxwell trial evidence index (handed to her defense attorneys in 2021 as part of standard discovery procedures). The two documents do not match.According to the evidence index, the FBI conducted four interviews with a woman in 2019. These interviews produced four sets of written summaries, known as 302 reports, which should have all been included in the January 30th document release. Only one was included, in which she claimed she'd been assaulted by Jeffrey Epstein when she was just 13 years old. The other three were the ones in which this woman - known only as Jane Doe 4 - made credible accusations against the sitting President of the United States...This is a continuation of a series we started last year. Eventually, they found the body of Elizabeth's husband at the edge of the pond, laying face down in just a few inches of water.In the weeks and months to come, a bizarre story would begin to play out in the press. She was in good shape, but she's too young to talk."On the evening of Thursday, December 12, 1985, shoppers at a K-Mart in Spanaway found a toddler loitering outside the entrance. She'd been spotted playing with two other children outside the store, but as shoppers came and went, the little girl remained outside.   "Not until those pictures came out... yeah, then the biggest rule was 'no fucking cameras.'"In January 2007, a user named Deathlyillington posted a video to YouTube. Roughly three minutes long, the video didn't feature any visually graphic content. It was just three guys - two in front of the camera, one behind it - chatting about one's experiences over in Iraq. Specifically, during his time stationed at Abu Ghraib, the notorious prison outside of Baghdad that had become synonymous with human rights abuses during the war.In this video, the young man details the casual dehumanization of Iraqis that had become routine to him, including the CIA's involvement in teaching interrogation techniques and physical torture. He also expresses a blanket contempt for all Iraqis, guilty and innocent alike. To be disposed of like garbage is so sad."On August 28th, 2019, a construction crew arrived at a property just north of Lake Tapps in Pierce County, Washington, to clear and tear down a dilapidated trailer that had been abandoned for years. The lot had been vacant for some time and the structure was already coming down. It was, by all appearances, routine demolition work.An excavator operator working the site noticed a blue yard waste bin on the property. It was sealed shut. Screwed closed, in fact, which is not how yard waste bins typically come.
